I have never owned a FF game in my life. Only the ones for the DS 'cause I downloaded them on my R4, then I lost my R4 so I don't have no moar FF. crying

When i mean Different...
I meant the PC emulators for NES, SNES, Master System, Genesis and basically any 2d game (some are hard to find)
Emulating Final Fantasy for NES is lazy but it's if you are desperate (i have the Iphone one and PSP as well)
Let's say you also wanted to play FF 2, 3 and 5 original. They have translated versions for Famicom systems (i think.)

So in short, it's a lazy, free and evil way of playing the games.
But a DS version should be bought, Never Downloaded.
you have to understand it's like stealing and it makes me facepalm.
I mean sure the NES Emulators are stealing but you have to ask yourself...Who has an Old Copy of Final Fantasy around your neighborhood? (i know online stores sell them sometimes but it takes time to deliver.)

I do not support Emulators either as they bug all the time but i tried it once...then deleted it and installed Recettear from Steam.

I have still supported Square Enix and bought many of the games as well.

Even though you have a lot downloaded... you should buy some, to support their company.

It would be really hard for their company to continue on going if people just download their games, as they do not get any money.

So next time you stop buy a game store, buy a copy! =D

I never pirated any FF games. Only played. Ironically, a friend of mine has an old NES just for FF1 (I have the only file on it since he never plays and I might try to buy it off of him. Probably a good 40 or 50 would bargain him into it since he's not big on FF.)

I do feel guilty to admit I would pirate FF games if I couldn't find them.

As for pirating the DS versions, I sort of don't get. Square could use the money that us fellow consumers get from them. It's what gets them to make the games, so agreed with smiley. Buy a copy of one when you go to a game store. I did.
