What is beauty to the blind?
What is music to the deaf?
Who sees God's true design?
Who hears the sounds of nature?
Who has been blinded by the world's materialistic fete? (It's a word, yes)
Yet who has deafened their ears with deception?
What beauty is there to behold in a black and white world?
What music is there in the sound-scape of machinery?
Tell me again who is blind,
And who is deaf?
Sight is overrated,
Sometimes immoral,
Sometimes deceiving.
To listen is to see,
But is seeing to listen?
Hearken to the word of your God,
Do you see now?
Is a rose so beautiful in a woman's hair?
Or is it majesty in the folds of nature's grasp?
Tell me yet again who is deaf,
And who is blind?
What is true beauty to the blind of this world?
What is music to the deaf of this world?
