i feel like i have been stabbed repeatedly and left to bleed out... i don't know whether to feel more sorry or worried, betrayed or guilty, i'm confused, and i'm hurt, and i'm afraid.
Lauren had disapeared from the internet for a couple of months, and then on DeviantArt she left a very frightening Journal Entry telling someone, who's name she did not disclose, to call her or message her. the status headings showed that she was being put down harshly by her dad again, and i was very worried.
well, i had commented, letting her know that i was worried about her, and wishing her good luck in reaching whoever it was she was trying to contact. it's been a couple of weeks at least now, and i still have not heard anything from her.
however, i had just now checked on her page, and noticed that there were now 7 comments on that entry. so i look at it.
turns out, that her and this guy had a short conversation that seemed to be of a romantic and sorrowful vein, about a week ago. in it, she gave the guy her phone number.
now, i realy probably should not have done what i did next. but seeing as i own her i felt entitled if i realy wanted to so badly... i dialed the number. the person who answered was not her, and told me that there is no one named Lauren there at all.

Perhaps you should track her down just to make sure she's alright. Talk to the people you normally wouldn't, try to get SOMETHING. Then you can say that you did something, and you might actually get some answers--not the ones you want, but not knowing is the worst.
It could have been that the number was typed wrong on purpose--I've done that before, giving a sob my number with 1 digit wrong. It's sort of my way of thwarting my own bleeding heart. (I can't tell you how much I want to give you my number, but I know I wouldn't be much help, so I'm holding back. sweatdrop )

UPDATE:
so, turns out she's fine, and she messaged me tonight. she appologized, explaining that mostly she's just been busy working so she'd only pop on and off. i am relieved that she is doing ok, and i was so happy to hear from her that i felt guilty to have any feelings of upset that she had spent as long as she did talking to that random guy and couldn't so much as say high to me after months.... but i of course didn't say anything about that.

People (especially women) get into moods, and then time breezes by before you know it. Sometimes it takes me a MONTH to write that "hi" email I meant to send to my aunt.
