The Night
After countless hours of stress and pain
Before I slip into the sea of dreams
Over the threshold
Into the blackness, barely illuminated by stars
Close your eyes now the day is done
With you and the sky, I am not alone
With you and the sky, I fear nothing- by lucky-emi
2ND PLACE!!!!!!
Her Eyes as Blue as the Sea:
In a starry night where the moon shines bright
A man praying near the shining gallows
Praying for a gift of God to come in sight
Who dares mock the treachery of these shallows?
Her eyes as blue as the sea...
A happy harvest for the woodland farmer
Brings wood, and food for his family
He wears happiness, and love, but no armor
You ask how God gave me such a gift to be
Her eyes as blue as the sea...
Her beauty reflects even in the greatest depths of the sea
She is whats he prayed for and He answered, gift of God
The starry night shows her true beauty, how her eyes see
She is such beauty, no man has had her, not even king Herod
Her eyes as blue as the sea...
She stand in this world of pain and confusion
I am her armor, I am her protector
Such heavenly beauty, Am I having a delusion?
I protect her from this pain, and the torture in this sector
Her eyes as blue as the sea...
How could such beauty come to be?
God makes such beauty most of us never notice
Starry nights show the beauty of the sea
I am on the edge of the knife, on this orifice
Her eyes as blue as the sea...
This tale ends when the two join with a dress and vest
Her heart is granted to him by the Gift of the Son
He surely protects her, he does his best
One more hour, and they'll see the beauty of the sun

The Smallest Star
In the night I look at one particular star,
I understand that sounds quite bizarre,
But each star has it's very own song you see,
And this star seems to be singing it's song straight to me.
This star is very small,
Most people couldn't see it with the naked eyeball,
But it twinkles very bright,
So you should see it, if you have good sight.
Some stars are as dim as lamplights,
But in the curtains of heaven, this one is like a skylight,
It lights up the night, better than the moon,
But sadly, it will be daylight soon.-by II-Lymiex-II

As the blue moon hung in the sky overhead
the children were fast asleep in their bed.
Their parents by the fire drinking up cider
when out of the blue came down a spider.
The spider was green and Oh! What a sight
it gave the mother a great deal of fright!
The spider spoke up, loud and clear
"Do not be afraid, you've nothing to fear."
"I've come to warn you 'bout All Hallow's Eve,
and how it can be dangerous if you believe.
In the witches, the goblins, the vampires you see
but they are not real; no, not even me."
The parents awoke, it was only a dream
in through the window, shined the blue moon's beam.
Father looked at mother as her eyes got wider
