I haven't been alive for very long and I really don't know but it seems like more and more people are beginning to catch on to the marketing of companies and all the weird stuff places do to try and grab your attention, it seems like more people are becoming tolerant and independent. It seems like people are moving away from the following everyone and being stupid and blind and being more knowledgeable.
This is not a debate of whether this is actually happening or not.
My question is this, what would the world be like if everyone was intelligent and thought for themselves, if there wasn't really stupid people that were ignorant, if there were no more people that just followed the crowds to fit in?

that would be murder for the marketers, just wouldn't it now?
you know, those guys who track you cell phone use (time, location, everything), ATM use (time, location)...oh yes, they do all that, as well as every keystroke you make online.
all so our habits, like and dislikes can be predicted.
it makes me want to totally be a rebel, do whatever is unpredictable, anything.
except maybe kiss a spider.
