Yeah, I heard it was supposed to be in July when it comes out in theatres. I saw the first part of Deathly Hollows and I am looking forward to seeing the second one with great relish.

So... does anyone else think that Harry's just kinda... wimpy?
I always thought that he was just a lucky-ish wimp.
But that's my opinion.

No. I don't.

1. Harry Potter has friends, not bullies or minions.
2. He had to learn through doing not just what was in his blood.
3. Although he was lucky at times, he learned why it was simply luck and that he cannot always rely on it.

To me, that says a strong hero, a true hero.

You also have to remember that in the series, Harry Potter for the majority of it was a young wizard. So, how many of us...if we were in his situation, would have done stuff differently if we knew only what he knew at the time?

You do bring up a good debate here Teddy.

Kind of! But Empress (if she doesnt mind me calling her that!) Has some good points against it. But I just can't shake feeling the same. Maybe its because I've heard theories about Neville being the chosen one. Anybody else heard the theory? I can explain if needed c:

The thing is, has any of you watched the entire 7 book series? Meaning, all of the movies?

In case you missed them, here are the titles in order!

1. Philosopher's stone
2. Chamber of Secrets
3. Prisoner of Azkaban
4. Goblet of Fire
5. Order of the Phoenix
6. Half Blood Prince
7. Legend of Deathly Hallows parts 1 and 2.

Yeah, I've read all the books and seen all the movies... but it still just seems to me that Harry can be a bit of a wimp.

It's about the possibility of Neville being the chosen one, right?
Because he was born at the end of July also or something.
It just so happened that Voldemort chose Harry instead of Neville to come attempt to kill.

I have a question and feel free to explain it to me but...

If Muggles are able to study and learn magic wouldn't that mean they actually have magic flowing through them the same as every other wizard? I mean it's not like they would be able to do magic without first having magical power? According to them it's like this.

Wizards/Witches - Magical Beings
Magical Beings - able to use magic because they have it flowing through them

Muggles - NON Magical Folk
Non Magical Folk - No magic what so ever at all
No Magic - Not able to become a wizard due to never being able to use magic because they don't have any Magic to use.

Hermoine - Muggle
Hermoine - Wizard (or witch if you feel technical)

If this is the case wouldn't that mean that Muggles actually have magic already flowing through them? Wouldn't that instantly make it obvious that hey they studied a bit harder then the natural wizards because they don't actually see Magic as a part of everyday life?

How Stupid IS Voldemort and his gang of A-Holes?

In Conclusion

Muggles are also wizards and witches but their ancestors chose to live life without Magic for one reason or another and as time progressed that became the case with all other 'Muggle' born wizards.

Muggles = Wizards
Wizards = Muggles

Shut up Voldemort.

This is a valid point (and the last part made me laugh) although I'm not sure how accurate it is.
Hermione isn't actually a muggle, she's muggle-born.
This means that her parents are muggles, but she is a witch.
So that does change quite a bit of your information.
However, that point always did confuse me.
How did Hermione get her magic, if the entire rest of her family are muggles?
This led me to the conclusion that, possibly, her parents had a wizarding relative.
Whether this is close, or like a greatgreatgreat etc. grandparent, I don't know.
But there would probably have to be some point of connection between muggle and wizard for muggle borns to happen, right?
That always confused me...

I keep thinking about what Ronald kept saying about Hermonie. He said that she was mental. Some "mentally ill" people have higher knowledge and can tap into things that "normal" people just cannot understand.

Take me for example, and I am a good one.

Believe it or not, I am considered, by definition of the medical society as being mentally ill. However, I have been able to remember my dreams longer than anyone else. I can remember a dream when I was 4, and that was 30 years ago.

Some people would think that's just a good memory, but if that truly is the case, then how come most dreams fade after you wake up for most people?

Not many people would go to the lengths that I have to understanding my own dream world to the point where it really is another world and that anime characters do actually exist somewhere in the universe.

Likewise, with Hermonie, perhaps she is able to remember things that she has read to a "sick" state by "normal" society. Or what normal people would deem as mental, heck Ronald even thought so and he comes from a line of wizards.

In that sense, I too could be deemed as a muggle-born witch.

I hope that this helps you Chumble.
