Is anyone making a craft project for their sweety for V-Day? Here's a list of what my fiance is getting:

-1,000 origami stars (been working on that since October)

-packet of 'love coupons' ('free batch of cookies', 'day of snuggling', and some naughty things I won't get into on a PG forum)

-box of homemade candies (white chocolates, caramels, and strawberry/cherry gummies; his favorites)

So, what is everyone else making for their signifigant others?

I've made coupons. I was going to make origami stars too, but he'd probably just lose/crush them all razz

I'm making my honey a kimono. Actually, a Yukata. I'm hoping he will wear it to a Asian-inspired wedding that we're both going to in May.

What exactly are origami stars; are they just fancy folded up orgami stars?
It kind of sounds more unique to me than that.

They're kind of... puffy? Here's a link to directions and what they look like -->Origami Mini Star. I made them on a smaller scale than in those directions, though.

There's a japanese tradition among teenage couples, to make 1,000 stars for your SO. It shows commitment and dedication.

To be honnest I don't have an SO at the moment... but that's okay I guess.

Anyhow, I might bake cookies or something and give them out to my friends, and I always do something funky with my outfit. I haven't really given it much thought yet, really.

I'm sadly without a SO right now, and the guy I like is currently on the West Coast with his dad, who was badly injured in a hiking accident. But I will probably make little bundles of chocolates for my friends. My plan is to buy some Starbursts and some Hershey's minis, wrap them up in white tissue paper and tie it with red yarn. I've made a trial one, and it's cute, I'm just not sure if I'll have the motivation to actually make seven or eight of them.
The mini stars sound tres cute. Maybe I'll add one to each of my candy balls.
