Biography: Ryuu is the son of a Fire Nation Noble .He is the reincarnation of the first Fire Lord and the founder of the Fire Nation, the fire dragon (who became mortal), Fire Lord Nenshou, the ancestor of Ryuu. It is said those who bare the tattoo of his flaming head are his reincarnations. Ryuu bares this mark on his right arm, and has been proven to be his reincarnation. Because he is the firey dragon, his Firebending skills far exceed anyone elses in the world, even the Avatars'. It was said that The Fire Noble favored him the most, but was also the most harsh to him. The Fire Noble believed that since his son was the reincarnation of Nenshou, if trained right he could unlock that power and become the Fire Nation's ultamet weapon. It was during their training seasons that Ryuu gained a vertical scar over his right eye. Three years before the start of the series, one month before his elder brother's banishment, Ryuu was on a Fire Naton ship, though it is unknown where he was going and why. During a storm, which produced a hurricane, Ryuu's ship hit the rocks, hurling the boy and most of the crew into the ocean, causing the ship to sink. While trying to swim to safty, waves caused his head to slam into the rocks, knocking him unconcious. A few days later he washed up to a penincla in the Earth Kingdom. When he came too, he had no recolision of who he was (other than his name) and of his family. He was found by the Susamajii Clan, a clan of ninja, and was taken in, where he trained as a ninja. Because of that, he took up their custom of wearing a mask to cover his face from the nose down and to never reveal his face.
