In Final Fantasy we have seen many different stables, one of which being the use of the same weapons by different people through the different games. One of the more popular ones being the sword Masamune. This is a 5 way fight between 5 different characters who uses Masamune as a weapon. Only one can win. Here are the contestants.

WARNING! Descriptions of each character may contain spoilers from their respective games.

GILGAMESH (FF V,VIII, IX, XI, XII)- Quoted in Dissidia as, "A master Swordsman wandering the dimensional rifts" Gilgamesh is a sword collector who seeks out different blades to add to his collection. Sometimes duped into cheap imitations, he did at certain times, (Depending on the game) has owned and wielded Masamune. And has the power to wipe out an entire army by himself.

SEPHIROTH (FF VII, Dissidia)- The Legendary Soldier who wielded the very long Masamune blade which Cloud quoted as saying, "Only Sephiroth can wield this sword." After learning he was an experiment he was driven mad and made it his goal to destroy the world and to become a God. He completely wiped out the entire city of Nibleheim in a matter of seconds.

ZIDANE (FF IX, Dissidia)- A very fast and agile thief, Zidane's version of Masamune comes in the form of a double sided sword, not his most powerful weapon, but still incredibly fast and add the Status effect Doom. His Trance mode is very powerful, especially when Zidane discovered he was created by Garland to be a tool of distruction to disrupt the life force of Gaia.

AURON (FF X)- The legendary Guardian to Summoner Braska and a former Monk expelled from his order. Auron was a calm mentor but also a very powerful Swordsman, his version of Masamune is his final weapon of the game, which allows him to exceed the 10,000 HP damage per hit. Being dead might give him an advantage in the fight, and don't even think about underestimating him with his arm in a sling.

FROG (Chrono Trigger)- Yeah he's not a Final Fantasy Character, but he is a creation of Square, and wields the Masamune blade, so I decided to include him as a secret competitor. Frog was a former friend to the Knight Cyrus who was killed by Magus, who then turned the young lad into a Frog. Frog obtained the powerful Masamune Blade which was said to be incredibly powerful and sometimes deadly when used against magic users like Magus.

All 5 against each other at once. Who comes out on top and is the one true master of the Masamune blade?
