As the population of magical creature dissipated in the mortal realm so did the portals to the realm.
Eventually all of the portals were cut from the mortal realm when the Magic realm was cut some mortals were sucked up into the portals and were stuck in an infinite loop.
The magic realm flew through the never ending chaos.
Then new portals opened to a dark realm,and dark creatures came through those portals into the magic realm.
They gave a message to the inhabitants of the magic realm from their Queen.
The dark creatures were ruled by the dark elves.
When the new portals opened the mortals in the loops were let free at random, but they were warped.
They gained powers,got younger,or simply changed altogether.
The dark realm has started to attack the magic realm for control.
