My sister is studying to be an esthetician. That's basically someone that works in a spa doing nails, massage, waxing etc. Her class has roughly 15 girls or so and she can't stand almost any of them. They're all the "omg i'm so fat i wanna look emaciated like a model" types.

But there's one classmate in particular that she says looks like a lesbian. (I'm guessing she means very tomboyish butch) And this girl, holy cow, she just loves to say things in certain situations to make things THAT much more awkward.

Like one time when all the girls were waxing their lady bits, she kept wanting to wax my sister. And almost every day she walks by my sister and says "I love you" or "you're so beautiful" in this creepy stalkerish whisper tone. I told my sister she's so obviously trolling her xd but it's still creepy.

In high school, I used to get teased for being gay. This one guy in one class used to tease me by acting flirtatious but really it was just awkward lykewhoa. I was like, no thx guy. xd

So, anyone have creepy/weird classmate stories?

Hm...most of mine are more along the lines of jerk or worse...oh wait I think I have had a couple of creepy ones and one I remember when I was younger!! Yes, that's a shock right now...anyway....

I was...oh god I was young like I think middle school young here...and there was a guy that got out of his chair and came up and knelt next to me and whispered to me, "Can I put my hand on your butt" he was a sweet guy and I think that's why it was so creepy was cause you just didn't expect it from him, and he was just so nice about it. Of course I said no, but still creepy.

That's the only one I remember though...right now anyway.

Lmao, I think creepy classmates make the class more interesting. At least they have personality. And you'll never forget that class. xd

Hmmm, the creepiest classmate I ever had was in music in college. This guy always sat next to me, really close. At first, I thought he just wanted to cheat off me, but he did it even when we weren't taking a test. After a while, I started coming into class later than most people just to pick a different seat. Then, he started coming in later than me. eek One day, I asked him to back out of my personal space, and he was very nice about it and apologized. But the next time, he was right back in my space, and at the end of class, he whispered, "Your hair smells nice." I suppose most people would've freaked out, but it struck me as so funny that I laughed out loud. The teacher stared at me, he backed away, and he never sat next to me again. xd I wasn't scared in the least, but it was definitely awkward for a while.

The creepiest person I met in college was actually my P.E. teacher. He actually freaked me out. He spend every damn class looking right at me and only me. I was the only one he insisted on speaking with personally after class about our final projects. And at the end of the semester, he asked me out. Personally, I found that way creepier because A. he was my teacher, and B. he reminded me WAY too much of one of my cousins. I've always wondered what was wrong with him. There were way prettier girls in that class. stare

But I pretty much just ignored everyone else.

Homeschooled? Now that's interesting. I always wondered what life would be like with that kind of schooling.

And wow purple, both your creepy stories have to do with people being into you. I have to say, I'm MILDLY jealous. xd But I've never seriously been hit on in my life. If someone was pursuing me in that manner, I think I'd freak out or think it's some collosal joke.

In my high school, one of the p.e. teachers actually was having a thing with one of the students. We didn't know until after the girl graduated of course. I could excuse it if he was smoking hot but no dice. But there was this super cute physics teacher. xd Oh my... this is going in another direction isn't it.

Yeah, being homeschooled pretty much means that you don't have to put up with all the crap that public schools put you through.

It also means that you don't have any much experience dealing with people in general ^^;

(Socially, I'm an outcast)

Public school can be down to luck. I mean, some people have a great school life and other people have the worst time of their lives. For me it was more like a mixed bag with an emphasis on not so great.

It's a given that if you're gorgeous you'll generally merge into the "cool" people crowd. But really,those people often have major issues like anyone else. They just feel entitled to take it out on everyone else.

Oh I remembered a weird moment but it wasn't at school it was this crazy dude outside a laundry mat! It was before I had a washer and dryer so had to do laundry there. Anyway...yeah was doing laundry stepped outside while things washed or dried, can't remember which maybe both, but was outside getting some fresh air and this guy comes up and was hitting on me like so obvious that even I noticed it, and that's saying something.

He freaked me out so bad I told him I just moved her and didn't have a phone when he asked for my number. sweatdrop *blinks and sighs* I react badly to guy's that hit on me and are obvious about it, but if you're not obvious about it I don't notice it. Anyway, he was at least nice enough to back off.

*blinks* Wow purple you had some creepy moments there that one dude is so stalker material at least up till a point there.

Dude you're not a social outcast just cause you were home schooled trust me on that! I went to public schools and I'm still a social outcast! ^_~

*nods* Yeah, you're right bro and I have to say mine was a pretty mixed bag too though with other problems thrown in there I'd go with mine was leaning more towards bad experience then good. However, it could have been far worse and I survived so eh no worries. *laughs*

Iakun: Yeah, the "incrowds" are always snobby stuck up jerks.
Or at least that's how they act.
But I guess everyone could be accused of doing something that someone else considders "snobbish" - it's all a matter of oppinion sometimes. (especially for the small things)

I've never had to deal with the "incrowd" so I pretty much view everyone that way until they prove themselves otherwise. A type of "guilty until proven innocent"

=========================

MR: I was saying that I don't deal well with public settings ^^;

Being homeschooled was definitely a unique experience. And it wasn't as if we had no opportunities to socialize. There were homeschool groups for sports and music and all kinds of stuff. Dude just isn't a joiner. Neither was I, for the most part. I just kind of blossomed socially in college. That's where you're supposed to do that, right? xd

Also, OMG, Iakun, you're right. You know, I'd never really thought about it. That's kinda weird. confused And don't be jealous; it was just stupid. I always attract the crazies. sad And the desperates.

If you want to know what homeschooling is like, it's a mixed bag. The lack of a concrete schedule means you can mix things up, but it also means that there's no uniformity to anything. The lack of a class means that there's no competition or distraction, but it also means that there's a lot of solitude and a lot of pressure since you're the only one doing the projects/tests/etc. Academically, I think it worked out well for both dude and me. Socially, it took me a bit longer to adjust to the world, and dude still hasn't. (Have you, dude?) I speculate that the added social pressures of a peer group would have pushed me into some things that might have been good for me, but I can't say for sure. And I might have ended up worse off in public school since I was a rather oversensitive child. Dude would've been a jock. xd I'm sure of that.

Dude? A jock? *thinks* A JOCK? xd Well I guess I don't truly know anything about him...

Being in public school is no guarantee you'll be a social butterfly. I was still pretty much an outcast in high school. I wouldn't know about college since I've never been. I just get this image of sex-crazed young adults with their porno parties.
PostPosted: Tue Jan 11, 2011 10:52 am
Yeah, I never adjusted to the world.
I guess I just never cared enough about it to try.
Never seemed worth it, from what I saw.

LOL, me a jock?
Yeah, probably. Ironic sence I don't really like sports now.

Porno parties?
WOOHOO, I'd like to see that rofl

Jocks are hot, if they have a brain too. Christ, I feel like a bimbo today.

But I like cute nerds too. xd

Disclaimer: Sorry x_x I know you're straight and I'm not coming onto you or anything.
PostPosted: Tue Jan 11, 2011 11:31 am
We all have our moments ^.^

Agreed.
(on both, only in a different direction, LOL)

=====

Don't worry about it.
I like to try to keep an open mind.
I may be straight, but I don't freak out about stuff like that.
(at least I'm trying to learn to not take it as a bad thing, like most would)
I believe people should be able to at least joke about going in any direction,
and that sexual preference shouldn't be taken so seriously.

Well, I'm projecting a bit psychologically, based on what I know about dude's mental development over the last 20 years and the pressures he's been sensitive and immune to. I think he also would've been a complete a*****e. xd

rofl Well, the sex-crazed young adults were definitely there. No porno parties, but there were raves, drugs, and depression. And sex. Not so much rock 'n' roll.

Also, I'm impressed by and agree with this, dude: "I believe people should be able to at least joke about going in any direction, and that sexual preference shouldn't be taken so seriously."
