Why is it, that I, a 13 year old girl, am the one that got stuck with a period that lasts for 2 weeks, gives me a s**t load of pimples, makes me feel ******** depressed before/during I hit my period, gives me debilitating cramps, makes me want to kill everything in sight, and gives me huge a** cravings?! WHY ME?!!!!

ok SOO i really HATE when girls complain about their periods lasting for a long time...why?...because I ******** had to deal with my period lasting for up to 178 days....STRAIGHT! and then getting about one week off before it started again. until i went on the pill to correct everything i was basically living my life on a period from the age of 12 to 16. so suck it up buttercup and get over it. 2 weeks are not that bad. TRUST ME. not to mention you are only 13! you are still going through the adjustment stages. its going to take a few years before things work themselves out and you get into a real pattern. just be grateful your period will actually end without the use of drugs. ugh one of my biggest pet peeves, sorry.

Wait. You're only 13 and you're complaining? Bah. I'm 21 sweetie, and I never know when it's going to turn up. It can bee three months, and then SURPRISE! Now you must soak your panties! Thanks mother nature. Appreciate the heads up.

While I agree they are a pain in the a** and ruin our good clothes when they sneak around......
It's normal for those who still have their ovaries to have them. Unless you get some kind of meds or have your ovaries surgically removed you're stuck in this cycle until menopause kicks in. sweatdrop
~offers you chocolates~ it'll end soon,yes? :3

If your regular pattern is 2 weeks then you should see a doctor. Other than that, it happens to everyone at their start. I started having mine when I was 10, so it's been around 14 years, at the beginning it was quite irregular like that, then it settled down for 7 days every 25 days, and stayed like that for the last 12 years.
So unless it's been like your friend there with the 178 day (I really feel for her.) it's totally normal. and about the pimples and depression, the first will end with your teen years or a little after and the other will stay with you for a while longer.

Ahhh periods. I hate them, but hey... It gives you an excuse to eat nothing but chocolate and grapes and have an almight hissy fit for 7 days straight every month. And it's NEVER your fault. Because you're on your period.
