Friends, once enemies... Become lovers...
What would you do if you were in a fight for your life... A moment where you thought you would never survive?
Would you try on your own, and take the chance at dying...
Or would you set aside a rivalry and team up, figuring that two heads are better than one?
This is the story of four young people, living at Hogwarts School for Witches and Wizards, that chose that second option...
That chose to live....

Samantha Faith I'm a Slytherin My friends call me Sam, Sammy, Faith I'm a Female I'm 18 years old I was born on September 5th
Not that you'd care but, Five feet four inches Also I weigh One hundred six pounds ⇒ This is how I act ⇦ I've been told I can be kind of a b***h... But that's everyone elses opinion... I think they're on drugs or something.. I'm not that bad... I can be really friendly when I want to be, and I've also been told I'm a total flirt when it comes down to it. ⇒ What do I like and what do I hate? ⇦I don't like people that shun an entire house just for a few peoples mistakes... It's not like all us Slytherin's are total jerks... Granted most of us, yeah, but not all... I love anything colorful... I like taking walks outside when it's warm and muggy, about to rain... Especially in the early morning when there's that gorgeous layer of fog along the ground...⇒ My life's story ⇦My name is Samantha Elizabeth Faith, I'm a Slytherin... I was born to pureblood parents, I've got a solid line of purebloods as my heritage, seriously, not a single muggle has married into the family... I've got a sister, Katie, who's just starting in Hogwarts now, she's so cute, she got into Gryffindor... It's kinda weird, having her in Gryffindor and me in Slytherin.. Makes for some awkward sibling rivalry. But anyways, my parents are Pandora and Connor Faith, they love me dearly. You could say I'm the spoiled oldest child, and in many ways it's true, I tend to get my way in everything when it comes to my home life.『 Keleios Faith 』 Melissa Ann Woodrow I'm a Gryffindor My friends call me Melissa or Melly-Ann. I'm a chickie I'm eighteen years old I was born on October Thirty-first
Not that you'd care but, five feet, five inches Also I weigh one hundred and five ⇒ This is how I act ⇦ Melissa's crazy. No, not nuts, crazy. She's outlandish, anything unsafe and rambunctious you can be sure that she will do. She has no self-control and isn't scared to tell you her feelings, in fact she doesn't even care about yours - so much so that she could tell you you're garbage and not feel bad. Melissa's vindictive, she's cruel and she knows it, because her intentions are cruel. She'll make you crumble from the inside out, she's not fool. In fact she's a qualified genius, sure she lives on the wild side but she can cure you up in a second, get you out of a tight spot and destroy the bad guy all at the same time! Natural super girl and villain wrapped in one. ⇒ What do I like and what do I hate? ⇦ Melissa likes battles, defeating you with a spell - simple or brain busting hard - is a great pleasure to her. She like's one-uping everyone, because she knows she can. She's a born fighter, likes to start them and finish them; kudos. Melly-Ann loves riding her broomstick, the faster the better; she lives for speed. But she cannot stand loosing, being bored or being told what to do. She's a leader, not a follower; thus she never does what she's told. ⇒ My life's story ⇦ Melissa's a wild child, to put it bluntly. She's what some assholes - excuse moi - would call "mudblood". But Melly's proud of her natural human parents. Melissa was born from "hippie" parents, woodstocker's that just loved mother earth. You would think that with such parents who believed in natural alliance, earthly order and free peace for Pakistan would be totally against magic. But lo-and-behold they were pretty damn excepting. Sure it wasn't natural order at its best, but they were happy that her daughter wasn't a - quote on quote - "conformist". It doesn't bother her what her parents think, because no matter what they said she wouldn't listen. Melissa was born with a wild heart and head, she does what she wants simply because she thinks that it'll be fun. As she says, "I live for the thrill". She's a girl that dreams of being a real life superhero, but instead she's out on the town till five in the morning doing shinanagins; but it doesn't stop her from wanting to be an Auror. Even though she's a bat out of hell she isn't stupid; you could say she's more of an underdog. Melissa is a born thinker, she's a genius. She's got a gift of being able to memorize every spell, counter-curse, hex, and formula's for potions. Melissa, the love child of two hippies, is a born fighter, a born thinker; a weapon wrapped in a neat bow. 『 Kari is Kute 』 Aiden Cates I'm a Ravenclaw My friends call me AC, Den I'm a gender I'm 19 years old I was born on October 15th
Not that you'd care but, six foot Also I weigh One hundred ninety pounds. ⇒ This is how I act ⇦ I usually lean towards being the quiet one.. I'd much rather just concentrate on school and get it over with. There's more important things that've yet to happen in my life after all. I've been told I come off as cold at first, but like I said, I'm just trying to get through school so I can get on with my life.... I'm very mellow and laid back until you hit just the right buttons, then I can get downright nasty... My friends think I'm wicked I guess... They say I'm "the life of the party"... Very different from everyone else who thinks I'm stand-offish....⇒ What do I like and what do I hate? ⇦I like sitting by the lake and reading, it's always so peaceful there. I love being outside at night, everything looks so different in comparison to when you're out during the day and everything is lit up so bright... The night hides flaws and shows secrets far better. I don't particularily like plants though ironic eh, for someone who loves being outside... Had a bad experience with the Whomping Willow... Bloody thing broke my nose during my second year... I'll never play soccer again near that damned thing. I have a special affection for transfiguration and for potions... They're my strong points, and where I shine in class.⇒ My life's story ⇦Oh great, now I get to talk about myself? Hmm, not one of my favorite past-times... I don't know, my parents are mixed, Father is muggle, Mum is the witch blood. So I guess you could say I'm a mud-blood I think they call it? I don't particularily care, they can call me what they want, but that'll be hard when they're a toad in someone's pocket eh? I wasn't raised knowing a whole lot about magic, my parents found it really hard to balance magic and mundane.. In fact it tore them apart, my parents are seperated now.. The only times they see eachother is dropping me off or picking me up from school every year... They even alternate that so they don't see eachother too much... 『 Keleios Faith 』 David Audney Sykes I'm a Ravenclaw My friends call me David I'm a gentleman I'm nineteen years old I was born on December Fifth
Not that you'd care but, six feet Also I weigh one-thirty ⇒ This is how I act ⇦ Once upon a time, there lived a boy fearful of the world. Oh, what? This isn't a fairy tale? Well we can still talk about the boy. In short terms he's fearful. David is shy, nerdy and just plain awkward. You'd think that with a pretty face he could step out of the box and become a social butterfly; but he's too damn scared. David is the classical nerd, he loves books, reading and solving puzzles. He's strategic, but keep in mind he's no genius just a nerd. ⇒ What do I like and what do I hate? ⇦ Things David loves? How easy to list! Books, puzzles, Wizard chess. Everything that he can do by himself, with himself is fine in his book. David does anything that keeps him to himself, but anything that throws him out in the open is a no-no. David hates bugs, being called on in class, and teamwork. ⇒ My life's story ⇦ Nineteen years ago a boy was born, in the depths of a dark cold night. When he came out of his mothers stomach he didn't cry, something the doctors speculated at, but that was just his nature. David grew up like any boy, loving life, going to Disneyland - Idon'townDisneylandortheCorporationandallrespectedpropertiesgototheirrightfulowner - on yearly family trips. It wasn't until his birthday, when he realized he wasn't just any boy. That's right the boy who lived in his own cocoon was more than just a tiny mouse. He was a wizard. David couldn't believe it, how great, how wonderful. No longer did he feel weird, shunned and just plain abnormal. Now - by Wizard standards - he was sane. With his mothers blessing he went to Hogwarts being the best that he could be. David spends all his time studying, his dream to become a committee member in the Ministry of Magic to keep Wizardy a secret from "Muggles". Too bad David isn't too good in school, just because he's a bookworm doesn't mean he's good at spells, or that he even know's what he's doing. But a boy can still dream. 『 Kari is Kute 』

Samantha Faith Samantha pushed past the first years as they gawked at their surroundings outside the train stopped outside of Hogwarts and sighed softly, dusting off her robes as she grumbled to herself. She didn't really have a problem with first years, but they were so tiny, and many of them, so annoying... Granted she'd seen her little sister, Katie, in amongst the first years and given her a wink for encouragement. So she continued past them, finding an empty carriage ahead and hopped in. Looking at her surroundings, her stomach thrilled. She was back, finally back... She'd been incredibly bored over the summer holiday, and was grateful to be back and away from her obsessive parents... She was tired of hearing "But Samantha my dear girl." from her father... It was so condescending of him to speak to her like that... Like she was just a child....
She rolled her eyes and shook away the thoughts, thinking about the year ahead instead of her home life... Wondering what would be new in some classes, and what would be the same, teachers, a lot of those would probably have remained... But it seemed everytime she turned around there was some new addition when it came to their already heavy classload... Frustrating to say the least... With a sigh, Samantha straightened her robes and ran a hand through her hair. Then there was always the prospect of what guys would be around this year... Some transfers came in on occasion, certain ones enough to make you die from pleasure... And then there was those guys that you'd never looked at before that came back and were suddenly hot, as though someone had fed them a potion over the summer.... She chuckled to herself and watched for a moment as the boats started their trek across the water, she could hear the frightened squeals from the first years as a future Slytherin most likely, rocked one of the boats...

Aiden Cates Aiden looked up at a tap on his shoulders and smiled apologetically at the conductor as he grabbed his bag and hopped out of the train... Most students had long filtered away towards a carriage or for the first years, to the boats. Aiden yawned, he was incredibly tired for some reason he couldn't pin his finger on... Hopefully he wasn't getting ill... As he pondered why he was so exhausted, he sat down in one of the first carriage in the line just in time for it to take off... He didn't pay attention to the people around him, just opened back up the book he'd been reading and continued right where he'd left on. Granted it wasn't for school, but still, he felt slightly like a nerd for sitting here reading even while the carriages made the short trip to the castle.

▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ☆ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Melissa Ann Woodrow It was the same every year. Students piled off the train, into the boats, onto the carriages, into their home. It was boring, it was dull, so predictable. Things needed to be shaken up a bit. Melissa hopped in a carriage with her friends, some people that she held no connection with got in as well; but that's how it usually was. A boy with glasses got in, carrying a couple of books with him. Immediantly he sat as far away from Melissa and her chattering monkey friends, putting his nose between the bind and moving his eyes quickly back and forth. Melissa raised an eyebrow, already she could tell that he was a quirky kid, who the hell shut themselves off like that? What could she do to make a scene? Break some damn hearts of course. "Hey, Kid. What are you reading?" Her voice had come out gruffer than she wanted it to, meaner; but then again maybe that was natural. He looked up, his face becomming twitchy as he saw all the eyes that had switched onto him. "I-It's Quintessence: A Quest." The boy swallowed, his whole face had turned red as he practically stammered through the sentence, from this Melissa guessed that he didn't talk to girls much - or maybe just people in general. Melissa puffed up her cheeks, causing her lips to become fish-like before she leaned back into her spot and continued to pay him no mind. He must have taken the hint because in a flash he had gone back to his book, his pink skin slowly turning back to its normal flesh color. After the ordeal of embarrassing some boy was over they had finally arrived, and of course the opening ceremony was the first thing that needed to be done. Melissa stomped down the hallway, sourly pissed at the ordeal of today. She stuffed her hands into her pockets, a licorice wand sticking out of her mouth. Her uniform was, well not its best. It was open, revealing her normal "muggle" clothing, a skirt and top. Melissa wore a Gryffindor tie, given to her by Derek Hardson, a quidditch member who was popular amoungst the Gryffindor ladies; of course they were jealous, but did she care? Hell no. In fact she wore his tie with pride, they weren't dating but it was an excuse to piss some chick off and make her jealous. Other than that he was a good slave that listened to every demand she wanted. Obviously he wanted to be more than friends, but he had too much brawn and not even brain to see that she wasn't interested. Melissa walked into the large room with the tables, sitting down at the Gryffindor one and slunking onto the table itself. Immediantly she looked bored, the headmaster wouldn't let them eat till they had finished sorting the first years, so quietly she sucked on her licorice wand.

David Audney SykesThe year had started the same for David. He got his own trolley cart, sat on a boat quietly, and even onto the carriage. That is before some girl started talking to him. His heart became bubbly, it wasn't too often that anyone talked to him in general, but that was because he didn't want them too. The less interaction the better. Finally they parted, it wasn't as bad as he thought and his heart had calmed down. David clung to the few books that he had brought with him, holding three of them in one hand that had swung at his side while the last was in front of his face being scanned by the eyes beneath his glasses. It wasn't too long before he too, like everyone else, sat at his table. Still reading and ignoring his peers.

Samantha Faith Samantha chatted with a few of her friends at the Slytherin table as they listened quietly to the sorting as it happened... Until her sister got landed in Gryffindor... How incredible weird... She clapped regardless, and smiled when her sister looked over at her, looking terrified and nervous... She'd have to talk to her about it later on she guessed... With a sigh, she heard the last few of the first years being sorted, one into Slytherin, and as she clapped, she looked around the room, noting most of the faces turned to look up at the headmaster, some turned to their friends, and one... Buried in a book, really? Here, even HERE!? She rolled her eyes and went back to talking to her friends while they waited for the headmaster to announce the beginning of the feast. She took a sip of the pumpkin juice in her goblet as they laughed and gossiped, inserting her opinion here and there...

Aiden Cates Aiden couldn't have cared less about the sorting, he had barely cared about his own, listening to the damned hat whisper in his ears and yank his head around wasn't his idea of a grand ole time. He fiddled with his tie, already loose as it was, and grumbled under his breath. He looked around and watched some of the people at the other tables, watching his classmates as they interacted with one another. Some laughing and talking, others sitting looking rather bored. His eyes flashed to the front of the hall as the headmaster finally announced the feast and their food appeared on the tables.

▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ☆ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Melissa Ann Woodrow "Ugh! Finally!" Melissa had put her palms up in the air, hallelujahing to the sky before she slapped them onto the table. Food had appeared before them, pumpkin juice, meat and her absolute favorite thing ever - sweets. She grabbed whatever she could, not even putting it on the plate in front of her before she shoved it into her mouth. "Ugh, yew guyz. Put sum of dish in your pawkets for later.""What? Ew gross Melissa, I'm not taking food back into the common room for you! Stop talking with your mouth full!" But Melissa ignored her friends remarks, continuing to stuff her face with the nearest candy she could grab. She even reached across to get more.

David Audney SykesBefore David knew it, it was the end of the meal. During the whole process he had stuffed some food into his mouth, still reading. It wasn't until the end of the meal that he had finally put down his book and looked up for once. Along with the rest of his class, the Ravenclaws, he had stood up. After being dismissed by the headmaster the students had formed clots in the hallways, making their way to the common room and eventually to their own room. David was the same, going into the common room like everyone else and sitting down in a chair. Just because he didn't fancy a talk didn't mean that he didn't like to hear other people talk.. David didn't ease dropped, he just liked to hear them as background noise. Some how it calmed him, it made him feel less alone.

Samantha Faith Samantha followed her classmates into their common room after the feast and plopped down onto one of the plush chairs, looking around, most of their house had vanished up to their rooms, hiding from the first years that filled the room with innate chatter. But Samantha and her friends stayed, hanging out and chatting, not to be deterred from their favorite hangout by a bunch of little shrimps.
