Wow! What a day!

So this morning me and my mom noticed one of our dogs was missing, we couldn't find him anywhere! We called the local pound, and they did not have him. Around a half an hour ago we got a call from petsmart saying a lady found our dog wondering across the big road and was VERY close of being hit, that was around 12pm. We just picked him up and he is fine now! But wow, what a day!

Oh my, do you know how he got out?

No, we are not sure how he got out, he cannot jump because of his back legs, and even if he could, the gate is very tall. We searched for holes, but couldn't find any. We think someone maybe opened that back gate to try and "break in" but got scared of the dog and ran off, opening the gate.

That makes sence, so some good came from your dog getting out, no break in!

That reminds me of one time years ago, i had a bunny. He was in a cage in the garage, the garage doors were open. And somehow another bunny got in the cage. And they were fighting or something. But the bunny survived. Maybe that's why his name was Lucky. Or something like that. But Lucky died later when my family went on vacation and didn't feed him.

I have my own pets - 2 youngsters cat.. xd I know when they'll get older, they would want to go out more. I'm trying to block them from doing that. I'm afraid if they go out, they will be hit by cars etc, hit by people, or fight with other cats... It's scary to think that if they won't come back when they step out of the house.. gonk

Omg well happy to hear that you got your dog back Toxic...... Luck was on his side. And Zooboom sorry to hear about the bunny.... poor lucky... I would be lost if I lost any of my pet's ...

I remember when my cat buffy ran away. i let my window open to let some air into my room but my cat buffy opened the door then jumped out the window while we where out!!! crying
We never found her, she's probably dead crying , Ah buffy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Meh, that was almost a decade ago, and I wasn't very close with Lucky either. We got him from someone else cuz they couldn't keep him (allergies?) All I remember is him in a cage dead. And I ate my tube of runts candy from the vacation.
