Romantic Recipies

Nya! This is the month of love and cuddling, is there a recipe you make for your special someone? Do you butter them up with cookies? or do you just go all out for fondue? Either way write your recipe down and you could win a February MC!

It was a super close race, I made both and tried it out on my family members, the cheesecake was absolutely adorable and they loved the presentation. However, they enjoyed the flavor of the truffles, especially how they weren't too sweet, the cheese cake was far too sweet for everyone's taste buds (I liked it but then again I like cheesecake) The winner shall receive their reward, and the next contest will start tomorrow.

Sad TJ is sad...this is turning into give Goldie a MC every month contest, there's nothing wrong with giving Goldie a present every month, but it would be nice to see some participation people!

romantic cereal
ingredients:
2 cups Cereal of choice
1 cup milk
red food coloring dropper

directions:
step 1: pour cereal into a bowl
step 2: pour milk into bowl
step 3: waste half an hour trying desperately to form the cereal into a heart shape
step 4: give up and drip red food coloring onto cereal in the shape of a heart

i know its stupid but at least now theres competition biggrin

Chocolate Truffles

(I learned this in cooking class)

Ingredients:
2/3 cup of whipping cream
3 Tablespoons of unsalted butter
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Powdered sugar or cocoa powder

Directions:
1. In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the whipping cream, butter, and sugar. Cook and stir until butter is melted and mixture is very hot.
2. Remove from heat.
3. Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until chocolate is melted, mixture is well blended, and smooth.
4. Transfer mixture to a chilled bowl.
5. Cover and chill at least one hour or until mixture is completely cool.
1 HOUR LATER...
6. Measure out a teaspoon-looking amount of chocolate and roll it into a ball using your hands.
7. Put balls onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
8. When all balls are formed, sprinkle them with either the cocoa or sugar.
9. Chill them in the fridge until ready to eat.

It qualifies since you put it in thread format, but not if you just listed it in here. I am on my Dad's phone typing this, all prizes will be awarded when I return to Jersey tonight. Unfourtunatly trading does not work on an android phone.
