The Soundless Cavern (Digi's Chuunin exam)

A cave that has very little echoes but is for some reason well lit. There are many stalagmites and stalactites. There is no vegetation other than patches of moss here and there. This is where Digi will prove his RPC's worth.

Nanashi stood in the cavern, waiting for the new kid to arrive. His back rested against a large stalagmite, which made his shirt slightly wet from the dew. "I hate waiting." He stated.

Victor slid carefully between the stalagmites, making his way to Nanashi, the Otokage and the man who had challenged him to come here today. Obviously, it had to be something important if he were being brought all the way to a freaky looking cave like this. Once Victor got to Nanashi, he would close his eyes, and remain still with the exception of speaking. "Is there something you wanted, Lord Otokage? It's rather out of character for you to call me out...here, is it not?" It had been a long time since the older-than-average shinobi had HONESTLY cared about much of anything; his age permitted a high level of maturity for his rank.

EDIT: (Yeah...I dunno how much longer I'm gonna be able to stay up. I'm sick, and my head keeps bobbing as my vision doubles. I'm thinking that I should probably preserve my bodily health and go to sleep, no? XD )

EDIT AGAIN: (Sorry Firu, but I'm gonna have to log off. I just don't have the energy or perseverance to stay up any longer. I need to sleep. Night.)

"You're late." Nanashi stated bluntly. "Fight for your life." He said as he punched a wall. Around his fist became a summoning circle. From the summoning circle smoke bursted forth, and within the smoke stood another ninja. This is who the boy was to fight.

Karuda was yawning and scratching his head until he opened his eyes "Oh... Hello" he said almost lazily and then he looked around "Where am I now and how much have I had to drink?" he asked, clearly thinking he was drunk.

Without giving his new opponent warning, Victor outstretched his palm, allowing a series of tendrils to shoot out of his open hand. While this happened, Victor leaped to the ceiling of the cavern, now in between two rather large stalactites. The boy had used his other arm to shoot tendrils into the ceiling, pushing only far enough in so that he could pull himself up. The attack on Karuda was merely a distraction. Now that both of his hands were free, the Genin pressed one of his hands to the ground, activating the Ground Shaking Technique, and sending a series of small to mid-sized stalactites at Karuda in a twenty foot diameter. After that, the sound of the initial stalactites hitting the floor would trigger the fall of further stalactites, starting a chain that would prove extremely difficult to dodge unless Karuda could move quickly. For now, Victor stood his ground, waiting in between the two large stalactites that hadn't fallen to see was his adversary would do.

"Whats this bullshit?" he said, he jumped back narrowly avoiding the tendrils "Don't even give me time to sober up?" he said before realize exactly what Victor was doing "s**t!" he said, dodging the first stalactites and dodging most of the other ones except one which grazed his arm "Mother-" he said, quickly forming his own handseals "Katon; Goukakyuu no Jutsu" he shouted, firing of a fireball at his target.

By the time Karuda made the notion to, Victor was already gone. He'd used the Earth Military movement technique to begin moving in the walls of the cave. What DID happen, however, was the successful application of Victor's plan; he knew that Kaurda would retaliate, which was precisely why he stood in between the two largest stalactites in that area of the cave. His attack had broken them from the ceiling, and they were now falling down toward him at intense speed.

While his attention was--hopefully--focused up, black tendrils would shoot out of the ground below him, hopefully ensnaring his hands and feet. This attack would--hopefully--immobilize him.

Karuda jumped backwards as soon as he saw the the attack with the rocks, the tendrils shot out and caught one of his feet, pulling it into the stalactite and effectively ******** that s**t off his leg "********!" Karuda shouted, hopping on one foot around the area for a second before his chest seemed to convulse and a hand popped out of his mouth and then another, they stretched his mouth open and his head popped out of his own throat, the new him threw off his headband, the new him began to formhandseals but didn't use anything... Yet.

Oh, but the attacks weren't done. "State of control!" A muffled voice could be heard from the ground. Quickly, he pressed his palms to the ground, causing the ground under Karuda to move toward Victor. In response, Tendrils shot out of his shoulders, moving to impale the approaching ninja with great speed. While he was--hopefully--moving toward Victor, the Genin rose his palm at Karuda, and fired a Chuunin-level beam of Lightning energy at him, using his other palm to sculpt an Earth Clone. By now, Karuda had--hopefully--been moved within ten feet of Victor, and now had a series of tendrils and a beam of powerful and fast lightning flying at him. While the attacks took effect, Victor stood up, and walked over to the clone while maintaining the beam. He whispered directions to the clone while placing his hand on its back; this was to ensure that the clone actually got directions by putting a bit more chakra in.

Karuda turned into a rock as he used the Karawimi jutsu "You're pretty good kid" he said from an opposite side of the cavern where the rock once stood, he reached into his toll pouch and removed everal of his senbon and threw them around the area, only a few seemed to even land near Victor.

Karuda's crow flew into the cavern "And... Pause." he said, as the crow landed on his arm he quickly wrote a message and gave it to the crow while Victor didn't do anything.

Victor took his as his chance to prepare another attack. As Karuda threw the senbon, Victor ran with his earth clone lagging behind to the other side of the cavern. The two of them hid behind a human-sized stalactite, which was probably the sturdiest in the cave. To Karuda, all that would be seen was a poof of smoke. Suddenly, the two Victors ran out from behind the stalactite, one of them lagging behind the other. The seemingly faster one sported a Demon Windmill Shuriken, and held it at the ready in the event that Karuda attacked.

Karuda formed handseals "Suzu Senbon no Genkaku (Illusion Bell Needles)" he said, the bells that were attached to Karuda's senbon should chime, causing Victor's vision to distort enough that if he threw the windmill shuriken it'd almost definitely miss, this however wouldn't last long.
