I don't think I was very vocal because I hadn't talked to anyone in awhile. If I've been talking I'll be more chatty, so next time I'll try to Skype for awhile before I go off to play it.

i felt the fear, and saw the micky.

ok NOW i felt the fear. started playing only at 10PM my time, but dark room, nothing else making noise, and the frame rate actually keeping on semi high settings. my only regret, is that this game isn't played in super awesome VR goggles. could you imagine?

also, thinking about it, a game like this could do it, the equipment would be spendy but it would REALLY add to the whole part of looking around and not looking at the feral creatures.

I had a similar experience recently. I hate horror of any kind and I see no attraction to being scared. However, me and my friend started playing this game at the same time and chatted on Skype at the same time. Surprisingly I had fun. I got quite far too. There's an area ahead where... Nah, I won't spoil it, but it scared the ******** outa me. Just remember: BARRICADE MAN BARRICADE FOR YOUR LIFE!

I don't get it.

Is it like...A game you have to actually play to feel fear?

It didn't seem that scary.

try to play through as though your playing something like splinter cell or MGS, only no gadgets, you have no idea whats ahead, being spotted usually means death, think scooby doo only no gang and the mystery is driving you insane, and if your insane enough, you can set a trap, only, unmasking the creatures is out of the question.

seriously 10$ for overture, get it and you'll see.
