It's sad how little of a life gay bashers have. honestly, I believe everyone should be able to express themself, everyone should be able to be who they truly are.

They mostly just see them as being far out of the norm. Because they're not like most people in classifying themselves as "straight", they also think of their preferences as "unnatural."
The fact is: homosexuality is natural. Even in the animal kingdom, there have been multiple records of two animals of the same species being a pair.
And the matter of it is deeper than just being able to express yourself. It's also a matter of accepting yourself as who and what you are. For some, there's a difficulty in that, mostly revolving around fear of what others would think about them, or if the people around them would accept it, especially when it comes to family. Even being straight myself, I can't reject another just because of their preferences. Sure I get a bit freaked out if a guy hits on me, but damn. That doesn't give any reason to fear differences. If a guy is gay or bisexual, then that's great for them. Same for a girl who is lesbian or bisexual. They're still themselves, and deserve to be accepted.

Ikr! I guess its because people that have never been gay or anything dont understand it and shun it. its sad. And you never hear of people being "heterophobic".

ikr!!! it pisses me off...in fact i almost socked a guy in the face to day because my best friend is gay and he was making fun of her...>.< its just because they dont accept people and their differences...i dont understand why its so bad to be gay,bi,or lesbian!? i mean yeah i get it its a sin the bible says so but it also says that every one is a sinner and that everyone will be forgiven so...it really doesn't matter...if your looking at it as a sin...

I don't get people. They are such hypocrites. It's a sin to be gay, yet some of the Catholic Priests (who are supposed to be celibate btw) were molesting and raping little choir boys. It's a bunch of ******** bullshit is what it is!

Most homophobes seem to be overly-religious. People like them say that homosexuality is a sin and god hates it. Well, whatever happened to being "made in god's image"? Whatever happened to god "loving all living things"? Everyone supposedly falls under the category of "living things". Are homosexuals not living? Do they not walk the same planet you do? Do they not breathe the same air? Can they not feel love and hate, pain and joy? Are they not human? I think I'm human.

Well. . .What I see in most homophobes is that the girls don't seem to make fun of the gay guys that much. But some guys act like going near gay people will make you catch some very dangerous and contagious disease. Also, you don't see lesbians get made fun of that much either. The term "gay" used to mean happy, well it still does...But now if some people see things that are unusual, or something they don't like. Those people will say things like "Oh, that's so gay." "You're so gay." Well why not say "That's so lesbian?" As much as I know, strict Islamics, or Christians just absolutely disapprove homosexuality without question. Speaking of question, I too have a question. . . When "bad" things happen, some people would say it's the act of the devil. So why are people being blamed for it? Sometimes, I seriously just don't get Christianity at all. I think some straight males, the ones in middle school usually. . .Make fun of gays because to them, gays are "different", and basically they are just scared. I also remember one time when my sister and I were watching the gay pride parade and this old Christian lady just said to us, you will pay for your sins and burn in hell. My sister and I were just exchanging strange looks at each other like WTH? Maybe she thought that we were lesbian, but me loving a 12 year old(in a sexual way, not family)?! Nope, wouldn't of even thought of that until that old fart came along.

IT'S SO ANNOYING! Just because you're gay or bi doesnt make you from a different species! Love is love, and as cliché as it is, love doesn't have a gender! Geez, why don't people understand it? stare

Personally, I just don't get it. Especially open homophobes. Bashers, or whatever. They're just as bad as racists and sexists and all the other stuff that's going on. I think they just have self-security issues. Like, does it make you feel better about yourself to bash people who are different than you? You don't know anything about it, so shut the ******** up.

It's all just so... Ridiculous. I myself have been very confused recently as to what my sexual preference actually is, and I have come to the conclusion that I am bisexual, despite what my profile tells you. (People I know in real life can see my profile) But I've also realized that I can't talk about it anywhere other than the internet. I live in rural England, which is the homophobic capital of the world. If I told anyone here I would most likely be burnt at the stake by angry villagers.

To the first post, 'to have the right to do something is not the same as being right in doing it'-G.K. Chesterton. =P being able to do something is not a good argument for moral choices. As proof, murderers express themselves through murder = P.

I think I hate homosexuals as much as homophobes do, and I'm a lesbian.
