"No, that's fine, too." Erik said and let go of her chin. "Trust me, if you hadn't of shown up, worse things would've happened." he said and looked back at the shelves.

Amy tilted her head to the side "worse things?" She asked a bit curious..

Erik paused and avoided eye contact. "The depression of losing my family would've got to me." he muttered. "Let's keep it at that."

Amy bit her lip and noded she was being to nosy again "so have you seen this?" She asked as she held up a warheads bag. She was trying to change the subject back to finding something Erik liked.

Erik turned back around and studied the item. "Warheads?" he mumbled. "Sounds like a weapon."

"its a sour candy...it kind of is a weapon against your taste buds" She said laughing softly "you make funny faces when you eat them too"

Erik considered it and bought the candy then popped a piece into his mouth. He tasted it for a while, but his expression didn't change. "Mmm, sour." he muttered and handed her the bag.

Amy smiled and held the bag "do you like them?" she asked

Erik closed his eyes before they could twitch from the full impact of the sour taste. "They're....ok." he muttered.

Amy smiled a little and walked around looking at the shelves.

"So..." Erik muttered, trying to break the silence. "Is there anything you'd like to do?" he asked.

Amy stopped and looked at Erik "im fine with anything really" she said smiling "what would you like to do?"

"Well I suppose we could go to the circus." he said and looked down at her. "Are you fine with that?"

"Ive never been to a circus before" she said looking up at him "its fine with me" she said excited. she had always wanted to go to one but her family never had the time.

"Then what are we waiting for?" Erik smiled and led her to the circus.
