s is for almost Samuel Garwood Psst, St. Patrick wasn't even Irish. Spread the word! wasn't he English and he rowed a row boat over to Ireland or something Was was either English or Welsh (as nobody is 100% sure where his hometown was on the map, but it was most likely Wales). He was kidnapped as a child and sold as a slave in Ireland, then escaped 6 years later back to England. However on returning he had a "vision from God", which instructed him to return to Ireland, and he went back to Ireland.
Then the Pope made him the second bishop of Ireland. razz
