Near the end of the game, you'll be able to visit either Black City or White Forest, depending on the version you're playing. The areas develop based on the how long you've been playing, but you can invite friends to visit your area which will encourage growth. Aside from the landscape (city or forest) what you can get in each area is very different. In Black City, your residents will sell you rare items. In White Forest, new Pokemon appear based on the residents who live there. The number of residents increases and decreases depending on how you play, ranging from zero to a maximum of ten. Here's the breakdown:

Black City

The market boss will give you 10,000 in prize money after you defeat 10 people. Keep battling and making more money each time you defeat ten, though there is a limit to the number of people you can defeat.
