「PERSONALITY」 Hatsukai is the erratic cross-dresser of the group. Her mood varies randomly from time to time. Most of the time, she's a rather energetic and weird person, more than once labeled affectionally as "mad". She's rather impulsive and impatient, and loud. Despite her bubbly and outgoing personality, Hatsukai is regarded as a very mysterious figure, who the students don't really know. She keeps many secrets to herself, some that only her brother could really figure out. Hatsukai is somewhat mad in reality, she has shown to be sadistic at times and very sarcastic. She follows what her mood wants to carry along, hardly trying to control her temper. And yet despite that, she loves food, especially sweets. And Hatsukai is very childish in the aspect that she loves stuffed animals.

「BACKGROUND」 Hatsukai surprisingly is part Japanese and part French, something most people don't know. She was born in the lavender fields of Hokkaido, Japan. She feels little connection to her family, besides her grandfather and brother. Hatsukai can speak Japanese, French, English, and Chinese surprisingly well. She's visited her father in France, but she cares little for him as he married another woman after her mother died. Her brother is named Kaeru Jikan. Hatsukai's real name is not Hatsukai, in fact, it was her old middle name before she discarded her name and created a new one for herself. Her real name is Kanon.

「HISTORY」 Kanon Hatsukai La'Machiavelli was born on October 13th to Niccólo La'Machiavelli and Kaori Jikan in Hokkaido, Japan. She grew up in a relatively large traditional European villa in the middle of a lavender field. When she was much younger, she used to go pick flowers and berries with her mother. Her father was a business man who loved his little daughter and spent as much time as he could with her. On the weekends, she would sometimes visit her grandfather, Kazumi Jikan. He lived in a large mansion in the city area of Hokkaido. Hatsukai loved spending time there, and her grandfather would buy her many cute stuffed animals. Niccólo and Kaori spotted her musical talent almost instantly when she began to play the violin. They hired private teachers, and soon Hatsukai was studying under the finest musicians. She quickly learned piano and the hardanger fiddle, as well as continuing in violin.

Her perfect life came to an end on January 25th, when she was only nine years old. Hatsukai's mother died in a car accident, leaving her with her father and grandfather. Niccólo was grieved at her death and took Hatsukai with him back to France, his homeland. After a year and a half, he remarried to the widow Jeanne de'Allègre. Hatsukai disliked her stepmother, and her stepmother despised her. Jeanne finally convinced her father to send Hatsukai back to Hokkaido to live with her grandfather. Niccólo agreed; he had quite forgotten about Hatsukai at that time. The only person who objected her going was Hatsukai's older half brother Valéry de'Allègre. He had gotten used to his new little sister, but Hatsukai had to go. Her brother gave her "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass" as a good-bye present. Hatsukai read the book on the flight back.

When she arrived in Hokkaido, Hatsukai changed her name to "Hatsukai Alice Jikan." She didn't want to be reminded of her father. Hatsukai started to live with her grandfather. As a job, she played violin for the Japanese Philharmonic for one month. An agent of the Musical Acadmey invited her, and she accepted. She has then lived there. Hatsukai regularly corresponds with her brother, who changed his name to "Kaeru Jikan" and currently lives with her aging grandfather to take care of him. Sometimes Kaeru visits her at the Academy. He is also the only one who knows her true name and her other identity as Jacques Vessalius. Kaeru disapproves of her cross-dressing, but he promises to keep her secret. Kaeru is the only one in the family who knows about Hatsukai's shapeshifting abilites, which emerged one summer when she came back to Hokkaido to visit her grandfather and him. Strangely, Hatsukai's other identity as a male looks just like him.

「PERSONALITY」 Ax is a bit lazy. Okay, he's really lazy. He doesn't like hard work, and would usually be seen napping or laying around, reading a book under the cool shade of a tree. Despite his natural laziness, he's actually pretty dependable and can get work done on time when it needs to be done. He's also very serious about his position as the treasurer of the student council and the violist in the orchestra. He has a personal grudge against Oni, which is why he is so diligent in getting rid of them. He usually has a optimistic viewpoint on life. He's also really clumsy, even though he doesn't mean to, and it would be wise not to trust him with a fragile object.

「BACKGROUND」 Ax is part Korean, and part Italian, raised in Japan, but speaks English just as fluently as the other three languages. Sometimes a little of his Italian accent slips out but he is usually able to keep it in.

「HISTORY」 Axel was born in Italy, to Gabriel Keyes and Han Ae-Cha, as a healthy, only child. For some reason, his mother didn't stick around and Gabriel took care of the baby on his own. Axel grew up in a large Italian villa in suburban Venice. He spent his time mostly exploring the city, and finding new routes to escape annoying adults. He never had friends, and he never had responsibilities, so he ended up being quite the lazy little brat. Often, his behavior amused his father, yet equally as often, it also aggravated him.

Axel was thirteen when he found out who his mother was. Surprisingly, he took the news that his mother was a nine-tailed fox quite well. The reality of the situation quite literally slapped the bratiness out of him, but the lazy attitude was a little hard to get rid of. After much arguing between his parents, Axel was sent to live in Japan to live with Ae-Cha' cousin, who was a kitsune, and was able to help him cope with the fact that his body was changing. It was odd for the both of them, because kitsune were usually female, in their family line.

He picked up playing the viola from his aunt's husband, and the two spent many hours playing, if Axel wasn't training with his aunt. The Music Academy found him out because he used to play regularly at his uncle-in-law's cafe. At first, he thought of refusing because he was happy with his aunt and uncle. But then Oni came and killed the two of them, and he escaped. Having no where else to go, he accepted the invitation to the Academy. At first, he was shy and kept to himself a lot. But during the time of a year, he opened up, and by the next six months, he was elected into Student Council.

「PERSONALITY」 Kaorumi is a really deceptive girl, so you'd better watch out. She may pretend to be a sweet, nice, and charming human girl, but in reality, she is a sarcastic, mean, and sadistic angel of darkness. Her nature is like her element, ice and water. Kaorumi often pretends to be a friendly person, who tricks others into becoming her friends when all she wanted was something else from them. She doesn't really have a conscience, and Kaorumi can kill without feeling. Rumi sometimes is very straightforward with people, which is both bad and good. Many boys, even knowing her devilish personality, fall to her charm she weaves. She can get away with almost anything. She just has to ask.

「BACKGROUND」 Kaorumi is one hundred percent Japanese and speaks Japanese very well. Her voice is good enough to sing, and so she's well known over the world. She has hosted several tours before her arrival at the Musical Academy. Rumi has stayed in America for a little over a year, and so she has no problem when it comes to speaking English. Kaorumi's last name is Mirai; she changed it to fit the musician's last name.

「HISTORY」 Kaorumi was born and raised in Sapporo, Japan. Now, don't get mixed up. She wasn't raised by her parents. The whole Mirai family was killed, except for her when she was only three. The leader of the organization must've recognized her talent in her voice and musical abilities, so she grew up under his wing. He became the father that Rumi never had. He paid for her lessons in voice and flute. At the same time, he taught her how to sing for people in the streets and dance, to attract others. And then, she learned how to steal from their pockets. Her first killing assignment didn't come until she was twelve. At that time ,Kaorumi was attending a school in Sapporo, and she had made friends with a boy in her class. By then, her 'father' was a wealthy business owner who had many connections and a lot of power. His rival, unfortunately, was Kaorumi's friend's father.

In order to destroy his competitor, he sent Kaorumi to kill the man's son. Now, of course, after being friends for so long, Kaorumi had started to like the boy, and she was afraid of killing him. Her 'father' kept pressuring her and she finally cracked. After meeting the boy in a dark alley on the way home, Kaorumi turned into how she looked like now. A look of madness overcame her as she killed the boy with her bare hands. Only when she returned home did she realize what she did. Her father was surprised at the sight of Kaorumi, almost silver-tealed eyes and blood staining her clothes. The next day, the police found the body. Kaorumi had then already turned into an Angel of darkness, and she left her 'father'.

For three years, she studied under a false name under a famous musician, who took the poor girl in after he found her freezing and half conscious outside his door. His name was Yasushi Nakamura. Kaorumi then decided to stay with him, and helped her new 'father' with his musical compostions and played in his orchestra. After two years of living happily together, the musician decided to adopt Kaorumi. She happily agreed, and soon it was done. After one and a half months, the musician died of a heart attack, on the day she received the letter. It invited her to the most prestigious music school, and she accepted, seeing nowhere else to go. And she was right to go too. There she met Hatsukai, and took a liking to the girl immediately. The two soon became great friends, joined by the President and Treasurer.

「PERSONALITY」 He's carefree and a bit of a joker, he enjoys goofing off. He's a bit of a flirt, just because he prefers talking to girls more than guys, and naturally compliments them (AKA an Unwitty flirt) but has much respect for the female gender. Not only does he respect females, he respects everyone around him, and treats them equally. He's very friendly and talks to almost everyone. He's quite a gentleman, speaking in such manner, but he's also rude in a teenage manner. He's honest as well, and has a feminine perspective on things. Not to mention he's a pacifist, he doesn't like violence to much unless the time calls for it. Lastly, he's relationship/girl shy. It's weird since he "flirts" with girls, but if they take the lead and compliment him or something, he will turn blood beet red.

「BACKGROUND」 He's British/Japanese/Korean but was born in France with the french language and had deaf Grandparents so learned signlanguage as well. His mother was half Korean, his Father half Japanese, they both passed their language down to him.

「HISTORY」 He grew up well but lonely. His parents didn't really spend much time with him because of work. But he was alright with it, he had his grandparents who practically raised him themselves. But not without having him study. He learned Fencing, Japanese, Akido, Piano, Sign Language, and Art for outside knowledge from his family. And then while going to school, he also was tutored outside of it. But he also wanted to learn some things himself, and asked for only 2 things. To learn how to play the sew and to learn cooking. During his piano lessons, his piano teacher believed he could be considered a professional, and told his parents immedietly. They eventually sent him to his current school. With Piano lessons, he was taught how to sing a bit. So, yes, he can sing, and very nicely and emotionally too, but not quite professionally. But what's amazing is that his piano playing is so emotional, it grabs the audience's emotions and sucks them in, making them feel what he is playing. If he's playing it sadly, they will cry. And so will he. If he's playing it cheerfully, they will laugh and smile, and so will he. The only reason why he's only "above average" Is because... well... He only gets some urges to play the piano, so therefore, doesn't practice that much. Which also leads to the complications of him not able to play certain leveled pieces. He rarely takes his time to actually remember a piece fully, the number of pieces he actually remembers, is for some odd reason, 12. But he knows many other pieces.... just the beginning though.
He's actually quite optimistic, always looking on the brighter side of life. And if things take a wrong turn, he adapts to it and thinks of the good things. If his family wants him to do something he doesn't like, he compromises. He isn't spoiled or anything, if anything he's frugal. He tries to cook himself, and get's part time jobs as to see how Commoners work
He grew up with adults commenting on his hair color, at one point in time, he tried to dye it blonde to make it natural, but then, he started to not care and wish his hair color came back, which it did eventually when he got a buzz cut. (A Nightmare of his) But he's proud of his hair color w. It's his naturally unique hair color that works for him. He's proud to be himself, and if anyone has a problem with him, so be it. They'll just end up liking him anyways because no one has ever held a grude or hated him for a long time. His smiles are just so bright and cheerful, they can be contagious. But behind that smile, is a mature boy who doesn't allow anyone to see his negative emotions which prevails to anyone getting to his heart. But he has no problems getting into another girl's heart without knowing.

「PERSONALITY」 Lief's mood varies. She is normally happy and hyper, but when she means something, she's very serious. She does like to crack jokes, and she enjoy riddles and wordplay. She's not exactly lazy, but Lief doesn't like work. She often wishes she was born a boy, so she acts and dresses as much like one as possible. However, being a girl has its advantages. She's not afraid to trick others to get what she wants, but only for small things, as she does have compassion.

「BACKGROUND」 Lief is Canadian raised, but she was born in Japan. She speaks fluent French, Japanese, is proficient in English, and knows a little Italian, enough to get by.

「HISTORY」 She had a perfect life, one older brother, two nice- but strict- parents, good grades, the works. Her mother and father applauded when Lief played her first piece at four years old, holding a flute that was too big for her. Since they did nothing to encourage her budding talent, she, on her own, became determined to attend the prestigious Music Academy. So, the day she turned 9, she sought to become truly extraordinary. Lief left, with sixteen thousand dollars and a bag of necessities and traveled first to France, then Britain, then Italy, and finally, America.
During her travels, she learned to be a gymnast, a singer, an actor, above all, a flute player. Naturally, she couldn't use her real name, so she created many fake IDs and got away with it. However, authorities somehow got ahold of the information that a young girl traveled with fake IDs. So, Lief went and tried out for the Academy and received a scholarship to the Academy at 16 years old.
Now, she has great friends, but is still wary of authorities, in case they ever figure out she is a runaway. Lief has broken off all connection to her family except for her brother, who knows where she is.

「PERSONALITY」 Scorpio is one of the kindest people you'll ever meet. Even though he doesn't trust someone when he first meets them, he doesn't reject them and will be equally as friendly to everyone, even if he doesn't necessarily likes them. However, this kind part of him only makes the dangerous part of him all the more scary. Despite being gentle, gentlemanly, and undeniably kind, there is a part of him which can snap and bring out the demon (figuratively speaking, of course) in him. Thankfully, it is a part of him which doesn't appear unless he's really angry, and that itself is far and few between.

「BACKGROUND」 Scorpio is an odd mix of many cultures, including German, Italian, Irish, and Greek, but was born in Switzerland then raised up in England, so he speaks English quite fluently, as well as other European languages..

「HISTORY」 Scorpio was the elder of twins, but they were as different as fire and ice. It wasn't a bad thing though, and the two were closer than anything. The two of them loved music, and his brother Leo was especially good at the piano, while he accompanied with the violin. Then, his younger twin got fatally sick and had to spend the rest of his life at the hospital. Scorpio visited him everyday, since the day he got sick. They were both twelve years old at the time. Then, Scorpio's brother died, on the day of their fourteenth birthday, and Scorpio felt emptier than anything in his whole life. He withdrew into himself, refusing to eat, or rest, for about a month or so, until he was finally coaxed to do both. He spent the next two years in gloom, refusing to touch his violin, which slowly gathered dust.

Then, he met his first best friend since Leo's death. She got him to open up a little and soon he began retaining his old personality, even though he still gets sad at the thought of his brother. Out of nowhere, he received an invitation to the Academy, and he thought of refusing at first, but then thought better of it...since he knew that Leo wouldn't want to see him like this.

「PERSONALITY」 Jacques is very light-hearted and easy going. Sometimes he acts a bit too carefree, but he's a very down-to-earth and mature person. Some people would describe him as very 'distant' from the actual world, seeing that he is stone-silent when they question his history and family. He likes to take things at his own pace, and hates to be rushed. Jacques sometimes shows a kind of playboy nature. He is rather loud at times, but very cheerful most of the time. Jacques is a very nice and kind person though, quiet different from who he actually is. He is very playful and lightly teases.

「BACKGROUND」 Jacques speaks Italian, Latin, French, and English surprisingly fluent. Little is known about his actual background. In reality, he is Hatsukai, slightly transformed, and cross-dressed. Of course, no one knows this except Hatsukai's brother Kaeru. Jacques claim not to know Hatsukai at all. 'His' fake story is that he was born in Venice, Italy.

「HISTORY」 Although Jacques is Hatsukai, 'he' has made up his own history, which runs at the following. He was the third son of the wealthy and powerful Vessalius family in Italy. He has a younger brother, an older brother, and one older sister. His sister was sent away to a boarding school in France to learn the 'elegant arts'. His brother was the heir of the Vessalius family fortune, but died unfortunately in a riding accident. Jacques became the heir, but he split the money between his two siblings. He used to visit his sister in France, becoming fluent. Later, he moved to Rome to continue the finer studies.

There, he learned Latin and Middle Eastern language. After a while, his researches brought him to settle down in Great Britain. During that time, he held office when he was fifteen in the Queen's cabinet, becoming the first teenager to do so. After a year or two, he resigned from the cabinet and turned to music. After studying in France for a while, he moved to the United States to 'permanently settle down.' He was accepted into the Musical Academy when he was sixteen. After accepting their offer, Jacques began attending class. However, due to 'conditions', he is confined to only attending once in a while.
