Which Character Did You Wish Didn't Die?

((Since I haven't posted in here in a long while, I might as well make a topic))

Through out Gundam history we have seen our fair share of deaths . . . alot of deaths. Some of them seem kinda unnecessary and some keep you wondering why even kill them off.

So here is a question for you fellow Gundam nuts. Which character ((In any Gundam series)) you wish didn't die and why?

Okay
this is going to sound bad

but I don;t remember the name OR the name of the show...(probably seed or 00)

but he was an older pilot (like 30-40), and he had a cat like gundam in a desert kind of scenario. I believe he also had a female co-pilot?
He wasn't on the same "side" as the main characters of the show either, (rebel maybe?) but you still like him because he was a good person.

He also has a scar on his face, brown short hair AND he had a scenario where you thought he was already dead, but he comes back and saves with day in the grand gesture of sacrificing himself....

Anyways, I think he should gt to stay just because he was a good pilot and he was nice to the main characters, kind of like a teacher/advisor type. but yes....that's my pathetic attempt at this.

This is probably going to sound like a really dumb response, but the death of SD Gundam as a series. D: I swear, I can't find it anywhere. I loved that show TmT.

Anyways I do not like when they kill off a main character in like the final episode/movie. Not to mention they killed Schwarz Bruder
