Click here for finished verisonHey, I haven't posted my stuff up recently because I've been working pretty heavilyon two big peices; both of which are stressing me the hell out. So I doodled a little bit, and fleshed it out into this which I'm proud of so far. However, I'm not yet finished, and your critique will go to the final touches before I start coloring, so thanks in advance. The subject matter is my trademark roleplaying charecter Drago Sors (center) and my friends trademark charecter Aust Naillo (process of elimination).

That's pretty cool. I like the way their feet get larger as you get further down, but I think the one on the right looks sort of like she has horse hooves. I like her cool pointy skirt thing though

*drools* I wuvvles it. whee I can't wait to see it when it's done. =3 The back of the skirt thing is a bit weird... I think you should go back and look at that.... Your proportions are very good, even though she is quite skinny and a bit stick-limbed (but in thos style it looks nice)... I really want to see it when it's done and when it's a bit more cleaned-up. whee

Hm, your right; the back doesn't meet up correctly. Thanks for both of your compliments and advice.

*wooh*
Aight, heres what I say. The guy looks great, nothing I can see that stands out as wrong, but that girl...something bugs me there. Her left arm looks like...I don't what it looks like, but it doesn't look like it should be like that. I cant tell if the hand is facing forward or backwards, but it SHOULD be facing towards the viewer...Her skirt seems to have about six parts to it, and I can't distinguish between them with any clarity. So...I can't say much about that but revisit it and distinguish it. Her feet are a bit small for what they are, and if she weren't wearing boots, they'd look like she had hooves. I think it's because there isn't enough length in them. In the left foot, it's that the shin gets thicker sas it goes in, and it's throwing me off, so...*sigh*
I like it, but right now I can't say anything that might REALLY help, because of it's sketchyness. Might wanna get rid of those smudges too though.
Sorry...

Thanks K33n, you reall did help. I see what you mean about the left arm; at the moment, it's actually bent in the wrong direction rather than strait how I intended. However, if I simple turn the hand on it's side, it'll just make it look like she was her arm slightly bent in the correct way, which I think might look better than what I had originally planned. The hand, is also pretty hard to see here, but yeah, it is currently facing forward. Yes, it's very hard to distinguish the multiple parts of the skirt, but thats because I'm going to bring out that distinction when I color it, not with the lines since they'll disapeer by the end. The three parts in each tail you think yor saeeing are the outside (or front), the inside (or back), and the trimming on the outside. I am aware of short feet; and the armor definatly makes them look like hooves. However, it's not so much a mistake as a choice; I'm quite happy with how that bit looks. By the way, most of those smudges aren't actually smudges; my doodles are usually on printer paper rather then my sketchbook, so the paper has a bad tendency to pucker and dip after only a little while; as if it had be slightly wetted and places over a fire. Thanks alot K33n; you really did help alot, even if you don't think so.
EDIT: Waaaaaiiit a second; do you mean her left? If thats the case; I thinks that arms mostly okay; though the angle of the hand (which is facing forward aswell) is a bit uncomfortable in relation to her arm.

Yeah, I meant her left. xp The way you put a full on line, makes it look like it was on a completely different area, and isn't part of the upper arm. I don't know if it's just me or not though. *shrug*
sorry xp

Thats definatly true K33n; I'll be lightening those lines up before I start coloring. And don't apologize, you didn't even get on the same planet as offensive.
And thanks for the compliment sonya; the lines aren't really important, I'd rather they totally disapeer by the end.

The faces are a style thing. And I must say, Brilliant. I can tell the difference between every texture, and that's hard. Go Mairi! I can't critique it. Too good for me.
