____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

You've met with a terrible fate haven't you?

You've been fired from your job...your children have been taken from you...you've been denied public education...you've been kidnapped, tortured, beaten and branded a freak, a mutation, a mistake....an Owl. As you stare into the moonlight separated by three iron bars, you as yourself, "Is this truly my fault? Am I mistake? And accident of God?" Your anger rises as you gradually realize that only a concrete wall five feet thick separates you from freedom.

In this pivotal moment, you realize that you have two paths before you both of which will lead to your ultimate destiny. Good or evil. Do you break down the wall and go on a rampage or do you sit and wait for your chance to escape peacefully? For Owls unfortunate enough to fall into this position, their choice is the most crucial thing in the world. For you though, it has only just begun. What will you do with your gift? What will you do with your curse? Will you aid or will you hinder? Will you live in peaceful harmony or will you die in fiery glory?

(When you meet this page, post once as the character that you are going to be playing as. In my post, you'll see the format I'm looking for when it comes to posting. Once you post, send this page to a friend (We're going viral baby.) Post once and only once. Doesn't matter the setting, doesn't matter the action. It's as free as you want it to be. Hopefully, this little exhibition won't be against the rules. Anyway, here goes.)

X~x~x:Roulin Presidiomni mad ~x~X

"The sun is high." The teen managed to make his way out of New York after being trapped in main city for three days. What hindered his progress was a war being waged due to the discrimination against Owls. It brought a smile to the face of the escaping Owl, but it pained him to see people ripping each other to pieces just because a group of individuals were different. To another Owl, this would be nothing but good news. To a moral, ethical human, this would be a travesty. This is what Roulin, leader of The Four Suits, began to worry about. How could he keep himself from becoming one of them? "Damn it...I probably should've stayed in New York. At least there was AC." The car Roulin sat in was a nice one. A Mercedes. Due to pushing through mob after mob of course, it had lost its ability to put out air along with the paint on most of it's hood. The windsheild also had a crack in it. Didn't hinder driving in any way though. His phone was still dead. He had no one to talk to and wouldn't until he reached Virginia again. For now, the only thing on his mind was his path and staying true to it. Humans were foolish and deserved to be understood. Safety was their only concern. A powerful lie and and even stronger truth...

It didn't take Roulin long to simplify his situation into something he could accept. Something that would help him sleep at night amongst the loud crackles of gunfire and breaking glass. The war was going to hell and the weather was getting worse. It was no coincidence that the world was going to hell faster than an atheist committing suicide. He could feel in his bones that even he could no longer accept the lie that he'd been fed from birth. Humans are not created equal. Owls will never be the same as humans and that's just how it was. He gripped the steering wheel tightly and road before him began to tremble...

He could never be a cog in the larger workings of society. An Owls didn't have a place within it. Instead, Other Worldly Lives were just the ground on which those of higher class stood upon. Roulin felt a sickness down in the pit of his stomach. Dante was a liar. Che was a liar. His mother was a liar. There was no one he could trust. The more the troubled fledgling thought about it, the more cracks appeared in the black highway before him. He hated this war. He hated humans. He hated Owls. But among the three groups were people that he cherished. People that he needed to avenge. The tremor calmed and Roulin released the wheel revealing grip marks where his hands were. He couldn't lose sight of his path. Not yet anyway. As his frustration lowered, he looked at the air conditioner. He didn't know how it worked, but after looking at the car through x-ray eyes, he almost instantly understood it. With his telekinesis, he fixed at just about the same speed. "Accomplishment one. Fixing something I've never read about. Go me."

William "Maestro" DeScythe
"Oh? Leaving so soon? Do stay... I insist."

Somewhere far away from where Roulin was located, a tall blonde haired man with grey eyes stepped over a few lacerated bodies lying in a blood splattered hallway, a smoking cigarette lit and held in his mouth. One of the bodies moved slightly, and the man in a black suit calmly and naturally stepped on the culprit’s hand. “Oh? Clearly, they were lenient...” William DeScythe applied more forceful pressure onto that hand with his heel, crushing it as a couple of loud cracks and a loud groan cry echoed through the eerily silent hallway. “Hmm? Just a hand,” the Satan Owl remarked with a dark smirk. “Don’t you worry. You’ll be dead soon enough.” He chuckled as the owner of the hand stopped moving and making sounds. It was the kind of chuckle you’d never want to hear, especially before you passed onto the next life, haunting you and chiding you as you are "welcomed" with open arms into the realm of hell. This was the sneering, chilling, mocking tone of a devil, one who revels in chaos and torture, the entity who toys with others' souls, the king of the underworld.

Will walked on without a care as he soon exited the building and onto the chaotic streets. A limousine was waiting for him outside the complex, and the chauffeur, who somehow was not effected by any of the chaos outside, opened the door for the blonde. Will stepped in, and the door shut softly, and soon, the chauffeur was in the front, ready to leave. “We’re done here.” A sardonic smirk laced the Will’s lips as he picked up his phone and delivered an order. “Clean it up…or leave it. They won't be speaking any time soon anyhow... ” Chaos was his game and his name...

As the limousine rode smoothly through the chaos ridden streets of the area without mishap, Will leaned back and simply grinned. This whole situation was old news. History repeated itself over and over in different ways. The choice this time was up to the Owls of the new era, the younger generation, not up to one such as Will, who had lived for over two thousand years. As Will found himself losing himself in thoughts and plans on manipulations, a beep sounded on his phone, signaling the receipt of a message.

The blonde devil pulled his phone out of his pocket and checked the message. A frown crossed his face. "Saxton....." He immediately pressed for the "delete" button before noticing something else. ...is that my niece? What the f*** is he doing with my niece?

The message was a picture text, a picture text of a blonde haired man by the name of Daryle Saxton, happily singing karaoke and making the peace sign at the phone while winking. Behind him was another blonde haired girl with green eyes, wrestling with Daryle for the microphone in the midst of all the flashing lights. The words of the text....
'Wish you were here! <3’ It could have been worse.... the message could have had audio....Daryle Saxton was not exactly the world's greatest singer.

((Edited.
Note: Daryle Saxton is Haka's creation.))

Nikolai Krane

Nikolai sighed and danced his way lightly down the street, ignoring the chaos around him. His headphones blocked out the noise around him, and he could care less about the ensuing chaos. So long as he kept to himself and out of trouble, he'd be fine. Nikolai, however, had reason to worry, he was an Owl, and this entire chaotic scene hinged on the fact that humans were afraid of people like him. He didn't much care for a war, he didn't hate the humans, nor did he find the Owls awful, he just didn't care. But regardless of his uncaring attitude, even neutral people have to make a choice at some point. Nikolai was just minding his own business, when out of nowhere, someone hit him on the back of the head with a pipe, knocking him out. Nikolai faded in and out, and was vaguely aware of being dragged across what seemed to be concrete by someone with quite a few hands, or was it just more than one person?

When Nikolai awoke, he was tied to a chair, and had two men arguing over him.
"Why the hell did you take someone like him?!?!" "He's one of them, I'm sure of it!" "If he is then who the hell knows what he can do!? What if he can make our heads explode with his mind?!" "What like in 'Scanners'? Come on man, get real, I doubt-" Nikolai cleared his throat politely to make the two men aware of his awakened status. He smiled lightly and said, "Sorry to interrupt, but I didn't think you would want me eavesdropping on your conversation. And, no, I can't make your head explode with my mind, so you don't have to worry about that. Can I have my headphones back please?" Nikolai smiled and gestured towards his MP3 player that was sitting on a nearby table. The two men simply stared at Nikolai, how could he be so calm when they had just kidnapped him and tied him to a chair? Nikolai shifted his smiling look from one to the other, his expression not changing at all.

After a few minutes of silence, Nikolai said, "Okay then, I'll just get it myself." Nikolai closed his eyes and concentrated on his shadow, which skittered across the floor before rising up into the approximate shape of a person and picking the MP3 player up off the table and bringing it back to Nikolai, placing the headphones over his head and pressing the play button. Nikolai smiled and bobbed his head lightly to the new music that was playing, tapping his foot silently on the concrete floor. The two men simply stared at Nikolai with an expression that asked "Is he completely insane?" Nikolai simply smiled back at them, enjoying his music. There comes a time when every neutral person needs to make a choice as to whose side he fights on, but Nikolai wasn't neutral, he was on his own side.

Lucien De Leon

What is peace? A time when guns are set down and the killing of man against man ceases? That is nothing but a fantasy. A fantasy Lucien hoped to destroy. Standing calmly amongst the busy city streets, standing under a street light the concrete below him, cars flew by as if in their own little world, oblivious to the realm of reality around them. Countless people walked the concrete paths, businessmen, students, simple citizens you would expect in the local D.C. area. Slowly his gaze turned upward towards a large pristine almost dominating building. His gaze complete as his left eye pulsed a single time, an odd forgotten symbol appeared for only a brief moment and then vanished. Lucien reached into his pocket and pulled out his cell phone. Tapping the screen with his finger he looked at the time, everything right on schedule. He placed his phone away as a wobbling figure, run down from the look of it, a scraggly forming beard littered his face his yellow eyes sick with some unknown disease. Wearing a tattered dirty tan trench coat as he walked into the building in a drunkenly stature. Lucien’s face remained as calculating as ever as he scanned the surroundings. His eyes slowly became an enchanting purple color as he began to see what no one else could

Inside the building the man staggered for a few moments before he reached for his throat and began to cough. His loud hacking sounds could be heard as far as the second floor of the massive building. As he fell to his knees clawing at his neck the people inside began to react. Some in shock backed against the wall, the staff began to approach offering to call the hospitals, to get an ambulance on the way. However this man would never be able to respond. He screamed a manic horrifying scream as if he were seeing the devil himself rise up from Hell. The man’s clawing of his throat finally hit through, splitting open the arteries and veins which carried blood to and from his brain, his blood sprayed out wildly until the immediate area around him was flooded with his crimson tears. Soft gurgling noises came from his torn throat as the people began to panic as some ran for the exit the doors suddenly slammed shut some unknown force keeping them from opening. Lucien, from his standing position stared in at the scene the people beginning to panic as the elevators leading to the higher floors suddenly stopped functioning.

In an instant Lucien vanished reappearing seemingly from nowhere behind the staff workers who were trying uselessly to get a dial tone from the phones to go through. Lucien didn’t move, he didn’t flinch or even blink. In a moment two security guards turned towards him staring into his swirling purple eyes. “This room is full of terrorists, kill them all.” He said softly. The Security guards nodded and drew their guns as they began firing into the crowd people screamed as the events began to unfold. These people however were not as innocent as their outer appearances would lead; each one was a member of OHA, a new league formed on the basis of hunting down and imprisoning owls. Lucien would not stand for those acts of barbarism. As soon as the guards emptied their guns their usefulness was over. As if on call their heads suddenly were severed from their bodies spraying the walls and ceiling with their blood to match the strange man’s. Lucien merely looked at everyone in the room one by one the remainder of the people were cut down one by one they fell their OHA banner was the only thing left unspoiled by their blood. Lucien looked at it their slogan underneath. “Those who are gifted will seek power. Those who seek power will seek to kill. Those who seek to kill must be killed.” Lucien was disgusted by this slogan it minimized everything he was working for. “Useless prejudice under the guise of morality. They play the hero while they step on innocent lives.” He looked down at a single survivor; it was just some man who had been lucky enough to have not received a fatal blow by Lucien’s telekinetic powers. He coughed up blood onto his clothes as he looked at Lucien and said. “Owl scum…We’ll see you all burn in Hell.” Lucien just stared at the man. He walked over and knelt down in front of him. “Is that so?” He said as he reached his hand out placing a single finger on the man’s forehead. “Listening to your inane prattle has begun to stagger my thinking, simply being here I can feel my intelligence dropping.” As soon as he finished a black spot appeared on the man’s forehead right where Lucien had touched him, it spread via his blood vessels soon black veins appeared over his skin the man’s eyes became crossed as he gasped for breathe. In a moment it was over. The spot had grown and had begun to decay the man’s flesh throughout his entire body until only a blackened skeleton in tattered clothing remained.

Lucien stood up and looked at the rather large building. “Well can’t have this now.” He said softly. He looked over at a phone lying off the receiver. He walked over as he heard a voice it was someone from the upper floors calling down to ask what had happened. Lucien picked up the phone and raised it to his ear. “Guess what I’ve just caught.” He said in a cold voice. The man on the other end just kept asking who it was and what happened on the ground floor. “I’ve just caught you.” Lucien said as his body began to dissolve into mist, floating up the elevator shaft and air vents, the rest of their pseudo-terrorist group would all share their friends’ fate, a swift and painless death.

*+*Amara Vanelli*+*

I often look back at my life and laugh. I mean if you were to see it, you wouldn't believe it yourself. I've literally been through the fire and back and has yet to get burned. My name is Amara Vanelli....and I'm an OWL. I always knew I was different from a young age, the fact that everything I attempted worked out in my favor was always a thing that bothered me. I've always been a fighter....since the day the UNS came to my school when I was only eight years old and branded me...I've fought.

I was a fighter....I fought the UNS...even though I worked for them...I fought. I always stood up for myself....and that's what got me killed....I died once....but that day...I was reborn. I became a nexus host for an entity known as the Phoenix Force....an entity that has plagued psionic OWLS for millenia. With new found power, I found myself understanding new things and began to think for myself...no one else. You would think as one of the most powerful OWLS on Earth I couldn't die after that....I did....

The power in me saw fit that I didn't die...taking my physical body but keeping my mind in tact I fed off several galaxies energy to reconstruct a body for myself....I was the phoenix and the phoenix was me. I came to Earth a second time to learn a lot of secrets not only about myself but some of the people I have met along the way. Much blood has been shed in a pointless war all because of greed, jealousy, war....simple things humans do to cause destruction...I still survived strong.

I have even endured losing a part of myself...the phoenix being removed from me...I used to have a sense of who I was with her present but after that I had never been so lost in my life....I sought comfort in my boyfriend Lucien who is thought of as being the smartest man in the world...but even his brain can't comprehend the loss I had suffered. A few months ago though I felt a familiar feeling...and my understanding was now more clear than it has ever been....many of you don't deserve life...life is a gift that should be cherished and none of you appreciate the gift...you only want to cause more pain and destruction....the Order of The Phoenix begins NOW!!!!

Amara opened her eyes as she sat in a room as she pondered what she had just projected...the message would be heard worldwide in many people's heads. She looked to see her sister Aeon sitting to her right and their mother who was standing in a corner. Her mother had designed the device for her daughter to be able to amplify her telepathic abilities worldwide. Five men soon entered, all were world leaders as she looked at them.

"You are the people who make life as an OWL a living hell...the reason why we turn on our own people" she said calmly. The men trembled in fright for a second. "Do you have anything to say for yourself?" she asked. You're a freak one of them yelled, Amara's eyes fixed on him. Her long light blonde hair began to lift and an orange aura began to form around her. "A freak...a freak...I'm a freak who will turn this world over and start a new....from the ashes a new civilization will rise" she said as phoenix could be seen in her iris.

At one time the men began to scream out loud. They were all living their most painful memories, surgeries that they had received anesthetics for but their minds let them feel the pain. They began to bleed one grabbing scissors killing themselves as Amara ripped their minds and memories from them. Their lifeless corpses fell to the ground as a fire insenerated their bodies.

Amara looked to her sister and nodded. "Aeon...construct five replicas of these scum" she said. Her sister began to focus as five bodies were constructed. Amara walked to her mother an omnipath. Touching her head with her hand they began to construct memories and thoughts for the five new replicas. "Now you can go...go back to your respective countries...the purge starts NOW" she said as her eyes glew an orange red color.

Rine was not a hero. Nor was she a villain. She would only lean onto the 'darker' side because of a thing called 'law' and Owls.
She enjoyed strawberries, good music and vodka. The thought of kicking puppies makes her laugh (one of the likes of Rine did not giggle, that was sexistly feminine), and she has always been a sympathizer with criminals (after all, she did not like the wall of law). The principal 'An eye for an eye' was what she applied in bars, but it also applied 'A favor for a favor'; which was the cousin to 'You scratch my back I scratch yours'.

And it was of the second phrase as to why this snarly shape shifter was in the United States in the first place. A mix of European decent, and also a frequent flier, Rine was well educated.

Street wise.

The only levelness of her head was that of the fact that her head didn't tilt one direction more than the other. Which was the cause of her needing a favor of an unlikely lad, which led to unlikely lad's need of something, and to which he gave a favor he requested one. And who else but the (boastfully) well traveled Owl? So he sent his new acquaintance from the comforts of her safe European country to a place that was not so comfortable with what she was.

Had Rine been a smoker, this would be ample opportunity for her to light a cigarette and agitatedly mutter about her task. But since the degrading habit of drinking and the odd one of eating meat almost raw was already bad enough, she didn't want to destroy her body more with smoke. So, instead, a clap of thunder sounded and it began to rain. What rain and smoking had to do with New York Rine did not know, but her thoughts traveled there.

“Insert foreign word for fack here,” Rine growled as she hoisted the hood of her hoodie over her head. Many other people that were (keeping a safe distance away) moseying around began running like chickens at slaughter for cover. Rine's grey eyes trailed each of them slowly, reminding a passing well dressed man with an umbrella of a predator making a pick of the weakest link in a pack. A sinister grin traveled in her thoughts and projected on her face, hearing the clucks of the chickens as they finally made it into taxies and buildings.

At this point there was another clap of nature's wrath and the city became tinted in white from the heavy needle like downpour. It might cease in a few minutes, or it would drag on into a large storm of mass destruction (such as rumors were in the north, as Rine heard). She gave a create yawn, enjoying the humidity while it lasted, and closed her eyes to lengthen the moment. Once her eyes opened they trailed to the well dressed man with the umbrella and there was a little click of thought. She started walking, lengthening her pace to catch up to him. Right next to him, she reached over and plucked his umbrella out of his hands. When he turned and opened his mouth to complain, all she has to do was show him her stone gaze and he shut his mouth and fled.

It was so good being different in a place that hated you for it.

Tide.Lee.Wood.

The broken brick on the wall, the crumpled paper rolling in the street, a dog barking in the distance, and slight drizzle of rain was the setting for Tide's afternoon as he hid himself in the crowd, covering anything that might give him away.
Most people were doing recreation indoors, luckily, giving him a smaller chance of being recognized for one of the monsters...so called Owl.

He kicked a pebble in a small rage of fury, but it quickly subsided as he saw it go through a window. He walked at a faster rate, so that he heard the shouts behind him.

" What the Hell!"
"Ma!"
"Wut pa!?"
"The darn window busted again!"
"Shoot!"

Tide was soon away from the scene and pulled his hat down a bit more. He didn't know where to start on his quest, and he knew he couldn't trust anyone.
He glanced at a kid playing near a fountain.
...innocent....I'm innocent. But no one could possibly say an OWL is, or was....What Sin did I create then?
The kid glanced over at him and smiled.

That smile made Tide's eyes water with tears, and he held back the emotion that kept clinging to him these days.
Such a warm,innocent soul, and I am a Sinner.

‡ Demios Wyatt
"If you don't stand for something..."

' I know that life isn't fair... I know that you're supposed to suffer it's just part of life... But I can't help but wonder if there is more to life than this. Sometimes I look at all the blissfully happy people and I can't help but feel jealous. So many of them lead such happy lives never worrying about if today will be the day they die. It seems unfair to me that I have to hold such a burden while they can live so free. Sometimes I feel like making them see the hell of my life, but then I remember that it is not their fault for my suffering. I know I'm not the only one who suffers, everyone does right, but at times it seems like I am the only one and it's hard.

I am an Owl, you know the people with strange powers....well I guess people is the wrong word, I'd like to think we are human, but they don't treat us like we are. We are apparently less than human in their eyes. My name is Laharl...or rather was I don't use that name anymore I haven't since I nearly died, you might not believe it but my friends and I have all dodged death in one way or another. Heh...friends that word seems strange to me anymore, I mean the people who I call friends have all turned on one another somehow, even I betrayed people, I'm not sure who to trust anymore....I wonder if I can even trust myself anymore. I am a special owl I am pretty much what society would call a witch, I can use magic and make my will happen, but not only that I hold in me a being known as the Raven Force, and even I don't know everything about it. I am one of the four aces

There was a time when I used to think that things would all work out, that we would one day not have to fight anymore. Those thoughts are long gone, just an empty dream and false hope. I know now that I must fight to survive. I sometimes feel like I'm surrounded by darkness and it could swallow me at any moment... but then I remember something, I love darkness. '

Demios smirked as he saved the document and then printed it before leaving the room he had been staying in. He knew that he had been reported by the hotel staff for being an Owl after they had saw him cast a spell after someone had attacked him. It didn't really bother him anyway he was tired of hiding in the crappy hotel room. It wasn't worth the money he had spent for the room. "You know I really should file a complaint" He said to himself sarcastically. He knew it was only a matter of time before someone would show up to apprehend him. As he walked by the front desk he looked at the manager "You should really fix the air conditioner" He said. The manager gave him a confused look "What are you talking about it works fine" He said. Demios smirked and his eyes had a dark look to them. "Not anymore" He said as he pointed behind him to the central cooling unit and suddenly it began to smoke before lighting on fire. He then left the building calmly as a fire alarm went off. In the chaos of the evacuation he made his escape. As he got a good distance away he turned to look at the building again. "Hmm it's missing something" He said, he reached into his bag and pulled out a tarot card at random it was the tower he then held it in the air "Ruin" He said quietly and the hotel began to light on fire and explode in places until it began to collapse and look like the tower card in his hand. "Magnifique" He said before putting the card away and turning to the car he had hijacked a few days prior and got in. "I guess I should be going home, I've been gone for a long time, I hope they missed me" He said to himself before driving away. As the building finished collapsed and leaving behind ruin and ash, police would later find the remains of the document Demios wrote barely singed.

"...you'll fall for anything"
