Gumball 3000

So Thursday was the start of the 2011 Gumball 3000!! WOOT!!

I actually got to go and see the start, and i was just wondering to myself, I wonder if there are any other furs who are interested (or obsessed) with the Gumball like myself.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Gumball 3000 its a 3000 mile rally of around 100 cars. This normally results driving across multiple countries. Along the way there are many parties and events for the ballers who have joined the rally.

The cars of the Gumball 3000 and mostly very high end super and sports cars from BMW M3s to the Bugatti Veyron, and just entering the rally costs upwards of $25,000 (it was about $38,000 this year). Along with the gorgious cars and insane entry price, there are always famous people involved in the rally. David Hasselhoff, Eve, Bun B, Bam Margera, Xzibit, and many others have taken part in the rally.

I borrowed a DSLR camera from my school and got some nice, very high resolution pictures of all the cars that were there. Ive only uploaded a few due to there very large size but heres a little taste of this years gumball for you.

The chrome orange car (link 3&4) costs between 1.6 and 1.7 million dollars. And the Dark blue car (link 6) costs about 1.7 million and is one of the worlds fastest production cars.

The gumball holds the worlds fastest speeding ticket at 245 MPH. Just a fun little fact for you wink

lol, I wish, but no, there were only on display. I dont think the owners want random people sitting in there $600,000+ cars XD

And being London someone probably would have done something stupid.

That is what I figured. Still it would have been sweet if you were able to sit in one biggrin
