The office this brilliant Webday morning was punctuated by a strange sort of ruffling sound.
The office Shredder looked left and right. To their left, a gnome, muttering something about skitters as they mopped up the floor. To the right, a... large blue thing draped over the desk. This large blue thing had been occupying their property for quite a while now, and the Shredder had tried all sorts of methods to pester, cajole, and otherwise harass the Blue Thing until it left, but no such luck.
However, today there would be none of this. The Shredder was out on a mission.
It was on a diet.
Hellma would wonder a few days later why the Acceptance Bin seemed extra-ordinarily overweight.

Name: Daniella Dean Fitzgerald. Yeah, being a demon isn't the only reason she hides her full name. Nicknames: Danny is her preferred name, otherwise names gained through RP Gender: female Age: looks about 18, acts about 5
Faction/Race Demon - Flame Demon
Personality: Party hard party hard party hard. Danny lives for having fun and taking things to the limit. She's a bit of an adrenaline junkie, and hates having to sit still anywhere for too long. Sometimes she takes it too far though, and can often be seen with bandaids on her knees and elbows. Danny's constantly out to search for something that's fun to do, so class is really hard for her as well. Having to sit and listen to a teacher? It's far too boring.
In general though, Danny is a happy person. She has her bad days and gets grumpy and what not, but overall she tries to look on the bright side of things. While she's very tomboyish in attitude, she does have some girly sides. She loves painting her nails and doing other peoples' hairs (she gets frustrated with her own and just ends up tying it up). When it comes to romance she's very shy and blushtastic.
Danny will play a prank on you, your family, your dog and your dog's fleas. She considers playing pranks an art, and getting a rise out of people is a masterpiece. She won't go as far as to dump water on you on your prom night, or get you superbly injured via falling piano. Danny mainly sticks to the old "stick a mimic in their closet and laugh when it comes out" sort of pranks. If she's really bugging you, and you tell her to stop, she will. She's not cruel, just likes having "fun." Combined with her dumb nature (see below) her pranks aren't all that elaborate or creative either.
Regardless of her happy side though, Danny is dense. She's thicker than a log made of steel. She gets pretty bad grades, but her parents have hired tutors and the like to at least get her to pass. It's part of why she's so bad with the whole social hierarchy thing- she doesn't see a fearleader who's popular, she sees someone who smiles and laughs a lot, with really really pretty hair! Her language is minuscule at best, and a lot of what comes out of her mouth will make you say "did she really just say that?"
Unfortunately, Danny really has no concept of repair costs or emotional damage that's caused when she destroys things with her fire. Since her parents are both fire demons, they're convinced she's just "going through that teen phase," or just brush it off with a "oh isn't that just silly?" sort of comment. This isn't to say she's going to walk in a room and just start destroying things. It's just that when it comes to battles and mischief, repairs and what not aren't really high on her list of priorities. If she destroys something, her parent's simply pay for repairs, or she works to repair it herself. She has no real concept of consequences or the future.
Which comes to battles. When Danny gets into a fight, it's one of the only times you will ever find her being serious. She loses her "haha that's so funny!" attitude and it just turns into an "I will end you" sort of thing. She takes fighting very seriously, and does a lot of training excercises (running, pushups, etc.) in the morning so that she's fit and prepared. She knows some limited martial arts (nothing behind a few fancy chops and kicks), which she utilizes well in battle. Danny is actually somewhat tactical and creative when it comes to battle, and it could be the one thing considered a "skill" in the ways of scariness.
Danny's biggest weakness is water. Anything about it totally freaks her out, and she refuses to even go beside a lake. It's reasonable though, considering she's a flame demon. She also has a flame on the end of her tail that works sort of like charmander from pokemon; if it goes out (via being rained upon, or sprayed or something), she goes into a deep coma-like sleep until it's relit via resting. It also tends to reflect her mood, burning bright when she's happier and dimmer when she's sick, sad, etc.
Danny's hobbies are about as simple as her attitude. She likes running and exercising simply due to the fact that she can't sit still well. She also like boxing and martial arts, but honestly hasn't pursued them as much as she wants to. She also plays faceball with the other demon kids, and enjoys it quite a bit. She's looking to join the Amityville team. She's pretty average at all sports, but being average doesn't mean you're the worst! Outside of athletics, she also really enjoys collecting shiny coins. Or dull coins. Or small objects that are shiny and look like coins. She's a bit of a hoarder, she has a drawer just filled with objects she finds interesting (note that you might not necessarily find them interesting. Danny says she thinks there's a neat eyeball in there somewhere). She won't necessarily go searching for these objects, but if she sees one, it becomes her goal to pick it up.
She also plays a little guitar. She's been playing since she was little, so she's not too shabby. She's no Jimmy Hendrix, but can play more than mary had a little lamb. Her guitar is orange and black striped, with little skull stickers all over it. Danny can often be seen in her room playing it, or picking out a simple tune. Danny doesn't notice it, but it sometimes moves around her room; she'll set it next to her desk, and it ends up on her bed....

Natural Ability:
Fireballz: Whew is it getting super hot in here? Fire demons can not only emit heat but also light, creating small fireballs in their hands without even the need to evoke their Fear.
Heat Aura: It really is getting hot in here. A fire demon naturally emits an aura of heat, that raises the temperature quite a few degrees in the area around them (think a 5 foot radius). This doesn't apply to those who can't feel temperatures, and if near a cold being, will nullify.
Fireball Manipulation: Flame demons, without having to evoke their FEAR, can now also manipulate the fire to create shapes, write words in the air with fire, etc. Obviously nothing like elaborate drawings, and it only stays suspended for about 10-20 seconds before fading into the air. FEAR:
Year 3: Limbs on fiyahhh. Danny can channel her fear into both her hands and feet and basically light them on fire. She combines this with close combat for some spicy results. It should be said that she can't push the flame off of her hands. It basically feels like a normal fist would, but heated (y'know. By flames). One limb at a time as well- not all four at once. xxxxxxxx- Mechanic: Battle Cry

Year 3: Danny erupts in a blaze of glory and literally lights herself on fire. It doesn't always work, because lighitng yourself on fire is hard, but when it does it gives her a great edge in battle. xxxxxxxx- Mechanic: Gambler's Chance
Tier Three: Dice: 10d12 First Dice: xxxxx 1-3: Miss xxxxx 4-12: Hit Damage: Total of second, third, fourth, and fifth dice. Sixth Dice: 1: Take the full 100% damage. 2-3: Take 80% damage (multiply result by .8) 4-5: Take 75% damage (multiply result by .75.) 6-9: Take 50% damage (multiply result by .5 or divide by 2) 10-12: Take 25% damage (multiply result by .25) Damage to Self: Total of last four dice multiplied or divided by the modifier. This always hits you!
Year 2: Danny throws tiny "darts" of flames from her hands. Sometimes she can shoot from both hands, but its harder for her. It's reckless, and often misses, but hey; what's else is she good for except being reckless. xxxxxxxx- Mechanic: Swift Strike

Divide or multiply the total by the modifier depending.
Year 1: Danny spreads healing flames over her wounds, and they mend her FEAR back together. The flames are blue, and make one's body feel warm- like being next to a fireplace after playing in the snow. xxxxxxxx- Mechanic: The Chill

Learned Abilities
Beginner Trashbot Summon: Battle Effect: A character can summon their pocket-sized Trashbot to aid them in battle, the Trahsbot acting like a small clockwork explosive. Roll a 4-sided dice. This is the damage you do the opponent. You forfeit your normal battle attack turn if you want to use this attack. Non-battle Effect: A character can icly create a pocket-sized Trashbot to help them pick up things/ clean their room/ do very minor Trashbot-like things. They can only create one at a time.

Basics: Eye Color: A bright sort of reddish orange, usually have the illusion that they're "flickering," either mischievously or pasionnately. Hair: A bright, BRIGHT orange. Its rather long, reaching about to the small of her back. She mostly ties it up in the back, in a sort of haphazard poytail, but she can occasionally be seen in a sort of crazy, messy bun style. She loves it when people do her hair for her, but gets frustrated when doing it herself. Skin: She has an arabian esque tan. When you're exposed to a blazing sun all day, you get tan! Extras: Danny has two stubby little horns on the top of her head, that have a sort of orangeish color on top. They get lit up when she is extremely mad. I'm talking the you-just-dumped-me-you-b*****d sort of angry. She also has two petite wings that are more for show than anything else. She can flap them, and that's about it. Tail: Danny's tail is long and wirey, with a ton of kinks in it, and a blazing flame at the end. Her tail works like charmander's; if it goes out, she goes into a week-long coma. As such, she avoids water like the plague. Clothing: Danny's general clothing choices are extremely skimpy and tomboyish. Her body's temperature is naturally incredibly high, so putting on a parka would be like wearing a parka in the desert. She only wears dresses during fancy outings (school dances, weddings, etc.) In almost every other situation you'll see her in shorts. Height: 5'10"
A general Look: Overall, Danny just likes to feel comfortable. Most of her outfits have her skull pin belt, just cause ... well no pin = no school. She has a sort of punk rocker look, but with a more "pop" feeling to it. She's very tomboyish in her looks, but enjoys when others help her get all dressed up.
*DISCLAIMER: This is merely a guide I've created out of my own RP. You are free to follow or not follow this, though I would appreciate it!
Just because I felt it was a little neccessary to clarify things, and lay things out for myself as a reference for rp. In the world of Halloween I've had to address a few questions myself (such as: do flame demons cry? sweat? how do they eat? etc.) and I figured compiling it into a guide would be helpful. Flame demon and Fire demon are used interchangeably, but I promise they're the same thing xD
Fire demons can be any height, any shape, any size. Typically their skin tone ranges anywhere from light tan (which is where Danny's at) and darker. They can also go from snookie orange to tomato red- and anything darker. There are cases of pale flame demons, its simply not as common. (Its not a bad thing to be pale or anything like that.) Eyes and hair can be any color- they tend to be warmer colors, but any color is fine.
Their entire body is fire resistant and lava resistant. Flame demons' hair tends to grow rather rapidly, because in pinch situations they can use it as kindling. The hair is flame resistant while attached to the body, but if it ever becomes detached from the body, it is flammable once more because it is no longer connected to the FEAR in the flame demon's body. As such, flame demons tend to treat lava as their "water" (they bathe in it, swim in it). It should be noted that they don't drink it though. Their skin is ridiculously dry. It is smooth, but retains no water. All Flame demons have horns that begin as black stubs until about high school, where they grow to be any range of shapes and sizes. In example, Danny's have grown upwards and outwards, gaining orange and yellow tips. Her brother Oersted's horns are purely black and curly around his ears. Her father's horns remained somewhat short, but gained a reddish hue. Overall, they can become any shape or color, but will always start black and stubby.
Wings vary from place to place. They can literally be any shape or size. Some can fly, but most can't. Danny's particular wings are small and useless; they are only there for intimidation. Tails vary as well- some have them, some don't. They're mostly black or red/warmer hues, but they can be pretty much any shape, size, or color as well.
Flame demons have a lot of variation within their external body. Some can have spikes coming out of random spots on their body, some have claws, some don't. Outer appearance, for the most part, is up to the digression of the player.
Their internal body makeup is nearly always the same though. Aside from having a naturally warmer body temperature, flame demons also have slightly lighter skeletal frames. This comes from the flame demons who have the ability to fly. Even those that don't fly kept the light skeleton simply from evolution. Beside their blood vein is a sort of "second" vein of FEAR that flows through their entire body, and lies right beneath the skin. Technically speaking, flame demons could burst into full-body flames at any moment, using this vein. However, only very skilled flame demons can do it- a wimpy high school student could not. Areas where the vein is more easily manipulated are the hands, the feet, the horns and any area with a flaming orifice.
Which brings me to the next and most crucial part of flame demons. EVERY fire demon has a flaming orifice. It is an area of the body connected very closely to the FEAR vein. Simply put: fire demons don't sweat, produce saliva, etc. To do so would be silly in terms of evolution. As such, they need a method to keep their body temperature at a reasonable level (flame demons still have ridiculously high body temperatures, but even they have to keep it from sky rocketing!). So to get rid of the excess heat and FEAR, it all gets pushed out of the body in one way or another. It could be a flaming claw, a flaming horn, wing- really, it could be anything, it just has to be flaming. In example, Danny's is her tail, Oersted's is his left horn. If water ever puts this flaming orifice out, all the FEAR and heat would bottle up in their body. Nearly instantly, they get sent into a coma for about a week (sometimes more, sometimes less. Depends on the conditions of rp). For the flame demon, it basically feels like falling asleep rather rapidly. Think of how you feel when you sit next to a fire for too long- lethargic and sleepy.
Concerning water, flame demons CAN touch it. From a young age they're taught that it is a deadly substance (because ... well it is) and generally do NOT touch it. Danny hadn't touched it until she got to Amityville and Calder talked her into it. If they do touch it, it feels slimey, and gross. Like sticking your hand in a vat of algae, or maybe lotion/jello. If they KEEP touching water, the exposed area eventually feels a slight stinging sensation, and then their FEAR starts unraveling slightly- its just not a good idea to touch it for very long. Fire demons would never, never drink water- or any other liquids for that matter. Halloween works a little differently, so flame demons recover their FEAR by eating. They literally never drink anything. Only eat. Eating forever. Danny tends to eat her food by burning it to a crisp and then eating it, but its really up to the character how they eat their food.
Some special notes from rp:
- No flame demons can breathe fire. Leave that to the dragons, eh? (this is my personal headcanon) - Most younger flame demons don't wear much clothing. Shirtless guys and bikini girls is a common teenage trend. There are exceptions, and its not like they CAN'T wear more clothing. Danny's brother and father both are seen in suits for the most part. Its simply more common to see younger flame demons with less clothing, as its more comfortable. It's the "current trend" if you will. - Flame demons don't cry. They shake, and tremble. It generates more heat for their bodies, which is a comfort for them. - Flame demons are all called flame demons. They specialize in different areas in the human world, but their species is just defined as "flame demon." For example, Danny's family specializes in arsons for the most part, but she isn't an "arson demon." She's a flame demon. - Fire demons TEND to be on the wealthier side. They are poor flame demons and what not, but considering that fire is as old as the hills, they've been in the business for quite some time. Many of them have inheritances that they can sit on for quite some time. - Flame demons tend to not keep fluffy pets like foxfires or treats. It should be pretty obvious why.

Danny's room is relatively small (for a demon, mind you), because her parents wanted to minimalize the amount of rough housing she could do in it. Still, it's much cozier than the average dorm, and Danny loves it quite a bit. It is always kept a toasty 90-100 degrees, perfect for a flame demon ghoul like Danny. The walls are all a dark gray sort of color, with a darker black trim. It makes you feel like you're in a cave. The main light source in the room is a chandelier hanging over it's entirety, but the room is far from dim thanks to the horde of candles Danny has amassed over the years.

When you first walk in, you can see a desk set up with an orange scraptop sitting on it. There is a small printer next to it, and a desk filled with all sorts of junk. Pencils, papers, pens, paperclips- you name it and she probably has it. Next to the scraptop is a single sheet of paper with a bunch of words scribbled on it. It says things like "Start Menu = Little Pumpkin Thingy" and "groanspring = groanspring.com" Yeah. Really.
Still farther, you can see a squishy little miniature bed/sitting place. Danny doesn't sleep here, but will often sit when doing homework or playing computer games. Mostly it's just a spot for her minipets to sleep when there are too many snuggling in her bed. Friends of Danny are always welcome to crash in this "guest bed," but honestly, Danny would prefer snuggles in her big bed. Above the little alcove is a shelf filled with little figurines, books, games, and more. Honestly, she doesn't even know what's up there after all this time.
Mind your step though- there are constantly minipets slithering, hopping and dashing around throughout Danny's room. She has a series of fiery pets that are always allowed in her room because of the temperature. She doesn't mind them and they don't mind her- you just have to be careful where you step!
Near the wall, Danny has a large lava fountain. It's mostly for decor, but mind you it is hot lava. It'll sting unless you're of the fiery variety!
Take a complete 90 degree turn to the left and you'll see Danny's bed. It's big enough for about four people, and usually has a minipet or two sleeping on it. It's been jinxed/hexed/whatever'd (Danny's not sure how it works) so that it's fire resistant. Any time you find Danny sleeping it, she'll probably be sprawled out in a hilarious fashion.
Behind the bed is a little window sill with a window alcove. It looks out into the demon courtyard, but that's nothing all that exciting (at least to Danny). Still, it's useful for a girl who is constantly running around to have a place to sit and daydream when she's in the mood for once. The windows are the normal spooky windows- broken shutters and and tattered curtains.
Next to Danny's bed, in between the bed and the windows, is a little pumpkin shaped dog bed and a bowl of fear candies. It's supposed to be Ignis' bed, but the little puppy just sort of falls asleep wherever he pleases, much to Danny's amusement.
Right at the foot of the bed, on the wall sticking out is Danny's SkeVee. It has an eii, a hexbox 360, a scarestation, all of it. Her favorite games sit on top of the little table holding the SkeVee lie a bunch of opened games- her favorite ones. There is a small pile of games on the floor, ones she's either beaten or just lost interest in. Her favorites are Left 4 Live and Maul of Duty 4.
Once you cross through the door space into the attached room, if you turn left you'll see Danny's kitchen. Though Danny doesn't use like ... half of it, her parents are the ones who made the room arrangement. Honestly, Danny only uses a couple cupboards, the stove, the microwave and the counter- everything else kind of confuses or scares her. There is a sink for formality, but Danny always avoids even touching it.
She's not a very good cook ... well that's an understatement- she's a HORRIBLE cook, so her room is never stocked with the right kinds of foods. It's definitely filled with spookies, chips, etc. She loves foods like snotcorn that she can just make with her tail, because they're easy and simple. Often, she'll invite people over to make food for her in exchange for favors she can provide.
Finally, on the right side of the second room, you can see a little wall that blocks off Danny's "bathroom." Technically, she takes the word bathroom very seriously. The room has a bath in it. A BIG bath. Filled with lava, which she bathes in. Lining the bathtub are all sorts of snacks (she eats even in the bathtub, okay) and candles everywhere. She loooves taking lava baths because it's the only time she really feels warm and cozy at Amity.
On one side of the, there is a small, normal looking toilet- nothing special there. The sink sits in a tiny corner on the opposite side of the room as the toilet and bathtub though. Honestly, the sink is just there as a formality and when guests visit, but (for obvious reasons) she doesn't trust it at all. She has this weird phobia that it will grow teeth and spray her in the middle of the night (honestly, this is Amityville. Weirder things have happened).
Beside the toilet there is a small counter with a mirror. There's brushes and combs and hairties and the like, though honestly Danny doesn't use it much. She prefers a look that just says "hey I did this in five seconds."
Other than the necessities, the decor in the room is rather dull. There is a fireplace set into the wall, and a shelf-like insertion set into the wall for all of her firewood (she uses a lot) of wood.

Danny's Friends:
The two Boils: Roch: Her best friend in the entire world. She'd do anything- anything for him. He's just the one person that gets her. Despite what any shipper says, Danny's never felt anything romantic for the boil. Rikki: Her boilfriend, whom she loves to pieces- quite literally sometimes. He puts up with all of her ... Danny, and there's no one Danny would rather be curled up with.
Friends: Amphi: Best ghoul friend in the whole wide world forever and ever. They're two ghouls with air for brains and ARE OTP Yin: Danny's gay best friend A mantis that, for whatever reason, gets along really well with Danny. She shares a lot of things with him when its hard to say to other people. Gene: Probably the most sensible of Danny's friends, they were on a team for the horsemen trials and have been good friends ever since. Andrew: Danny's cousin. She bothers him to no end, but doesn't realize that she does. Bea: A fashion-forward ghoul that Danny has liked ever since movie club. The two are quite the cuddlers. Taima: A thunderbird Danny's only met a few times, but admires quite a bit. King: All of the Princess Mononoke *-* Alex: Yin's boilfriend. Danny and Alex don't always see eye to eye (FIRE NO), but they're not on bad terms. Michi: Another one of those fashionable ghouls that Danny gets along with. They're hexbox buddies!
Enemies: Edel: ALL OF THE HATRED 8D Simon: At the end of the horsemen trials he shot her twice. Needless to say she wants to kill him. Gale: Another blonde hunter with a gun ... Shot Rikki in front of her and killed him, and then proceeded to attempt to kill HER.
MAIN MINIPETS:
Tiff: A typical tomboilish ghoul, Tiff is most like Danny out of all her minis. Tiff likes running around and exercising with Danny, and loves getting down and dirty. She is the less mischievous of the twins, but does more of the grunt work. Like her sister, she is very protective of Danny, but less so than her twin. She's a bit derpier as well, but also shows affection to more people, and is more open to meeting new people. She's very welcoming and warm.
Tony: Her name is actually Tonlida, but Danny mistakenly nicknamed her "Tony." Danny still isn't even aware that Tony is a ghoul. Tony is the more mischievous one of the twins, but definitely ghoulier as well. She is as proper as a minipet can get, and very snooty. She only likes very select people, namely Danny. She can be very protective, like her sister, but even more so of her precious shiny collection (which is actually Danny's collection, but Tony has claimed it as her own). She's very cold and loyal.
Otso: A small kitten with big grey eyes that just look up at you and melt your heart. He has a complacent attitude, mostly just derping around her room- but he can get angry too. He's starting to learn he has claws, and hasn't been afraid to use them. He has a monstrous appetite, and eats twice as much as Tiff and Tony combined. He was named by Rikki after the story of Otso the bear that Rikki was told as a kid.
SUB:
Candles: Danny has these candles sitting all around her room. No one really knows how she got so many, or where they came from, but she loves them. When she walks in her room, the first thing she does is run around and light them all up. Due to all of the candles, Danny's room only has one lamp at her desk, which is seldom used as is.
Various: A bunch of random minipets constantly run in and out of Danny's closet. Honestly, she doesn't know their names or anything about them, but they are so taken by the climate in Danny's room that they happy gallop about in her room. Occasionally they help Danny carry things or just snuggle up to her, but honestly, they're about as useful as a stuffed animal.

Teensy Background: Danny's family is considered "old money," basically they inherited everything from Danny's great great great etc. Grandma (or something like that. Danny doesn't know her family history!). Her house is located in the "hell" section of Halloween, particularly the section for high class demons. They live in a grand old country-style home (wraparound porch, big open windows and rooms), with fancy, but not necessarily antique furniture. Outside their house is what you would picture a lakeside with trees and butterflies. Except the lake is a pool of lava, and the trees are eternally on fire. It's pretty hot, but hey, what are flame demons for. There aren't many minipets around, save for those who can take the heat, like hellhounds and hellhorses. Danny's family owns an acre or two, nothing huge, but certainly nothing small. They are wealthy, but not in the "Bill Gates" sense.
Claudia Fitzgerald: Danny's mother. Is definitely the "oh you must call me Clauds, darling!" type. Like Danny, she's very free-spirited and whimsical. She is more concerned with her husband and having that sort of adult let's-throw-ravishing-parties attitude. She's never really concerned herself with Danny, so she sort of let's Danny run around and do whatever she wants. This isn't to say that she doesn't love her daughter, they just don't really have a mother-daughter connection. They're more like silly high school friends.
Bernard Fitzgerald: Danny's father. He's easily jealous, but is a good spirit with a hearty laugh. He treasures his wife, and they both sort of gallavant around just doing stereotypical rich people things (rides on big boats, attending parties, etc.). He's a more quiet type, but is the steady hand that compliments Claudia's wild and creative side. He too could care less about Danny's life, and just sort of provides money and a happy "ooh how fun!" when appropriate.
Oersted Fitzgerald: Danny's older brother. He is a smart, successful businessman with his act together- basically everything Danny is not. While she's skateboarding off the roof, he's busy making another contract with powerful demons. He's the type of older brother that completely overshadows the younger sibling, and whenever Danny goes places she gets the "oh you're Oersted's sister?!" treatment. ((ooc note: Danny is actually really hurt by this. She's incredibly insecure about it, but she won't tell anyone. She just says things like "oh I love my big brother!" and what not. She hides her discontentment completely.)
Rosalie: The family's zombie maid. She was contracted when Danny was little, but is happy to serve the family. She has that sort of grandma feeling, even though she appears relatively young. While Bernard and Claudia are out, Rosalie does most of the housework, and cares for Danny and Oersted as well. Now that Oersted has moved out, the job is certainly easier, but Danny is still a handful. Danny likes Rosalie quite a bit and thinks of her as a second mom. Rosalie hasn't told her what she was supposed to gain from the contract though.
Important note: Danny does not despise her family in the least. What we would typically consider neglect Danny doesn't see at all. She actually really loves her mother and father, and just thinks that letting the leash loose is what every parent does. It's also because she's rather dense and doesn't really see it... (of course, this doesn't apply to Oersted. He's a different story)
