Not everyone believed in elves. But as myths and rumors come and go about innocence, akumas, and the infamous Noah clan; the had to be real, right? Refill Sage was born as a half-elf between her human father and her pureblood elven mother. She was just 11 when her little brother, Genius came into the world. Outer species relationships such as this were forbidden in the village and the elven elder had the family chased out of their home. Their father died along the way. Distraught and hysterical, their mother turned to the Millenium Earl to bring her husband back, only to turn into an Akuma. The young Refill fled the house carrying two things: her baby brother bundled in her arms and her mother's rod which contained a mixture of elven magic and innocence. Hungry and cold with a starving baby brother, it was a blessing a traveling Exorcist of the Black Order that noticed Refill and Genius's potential and forced them into it, but only because she lied to say they were pureblooded elves. At the Order they lost their elven born names in exchange for Raine and Genis. From then on, the growing girl devoted herself to knowledge to create a better future for her brother. She developed elven artes and healing techniques that could even revive those fatally wounded. At 23, the woman became a knowledgable teacher at the Order and a near full-fledged skillful exorcist. It was on a mission to a village in Hungary with the famous Allen Walker
to retrieve innocence that she had her first encounter with a Noah...
