looks good. but the right side of her face is out of proportion and her hair on the left side is a little off. should be a little more rounder. her hair i mean. ^_^ other than that it looks awesome. 3nodding

Light pink background with pink (darker in comparison to the background's pink), white and a few red hearts strewn about.

Yeah uhh she looks creepy! I was suprised there is no blood on that heart! err.. How about a doiley lacy background with rips across it? yeah yeah and just for kicks, a white fuzzy mask!

Whoa, Valentines day totally passed me by. First de criticism, then the praise.
The clothes look like she's trying for a wet-everything competition; when you draw clothes, keep in mind the folds AS you draw it; they're not jsut something you add willy nilly afterwards. Speaking of shading for the clothes, the insides of the sleeves should really be uniformly darker and cooler than the exposed side of the dress. You should also apply more dhading to her skin, which you seem to have tottally left out in many places. The line art is also quite shakey and you thicken/thin them in the right places. Unfortunatley I'm not too good at that myself so any advice I may give on that could be horriby flawed.
As for charecter design, she really doesn't look evil or psychotic; the bleeding heart idea made by Ronin was a good idea; you could also do stuff like bloodstains, one eye closed just a slight bit more than the other (not enough to look retarded but enough to look intrestingly insane), different rips besidesfrayed hems, veins and arteries coming out of the normal heart symbol, etc etc. YOu really have alot of choices that you didn't use here; she's much to simply a design for use to get a good feel for her personality.
Good stuff; I freaking love those eyes. They're awesome, I've always wanted to be able to draw eyes like that. That couple will that great mischevious smile gives me a hint as her lovable stabbity tendencies beneath. The hands are also done very well (except for the thumb on the heart) which is a good indicator that your much more than a simple beginner. Keep submittin' stuff!

For some reason, this reminds me of FLCL. Do you happen to watch FLCL, Rainy Akuma? It reminds me of that particular drawing style.
Anyway, she's out of proportion by a little bit, but it looks cool either way. I suggest a black backround, but I can't come up with anything else from there.

Very nice! The face is a little out of proportion though. Also, I think the lines could be cleaned up a little.
I really like the eyes and the brightness of the coloring. Great job!! ^-^
