Mel a used to be regular tomboy kid that loved to work on cars and use guns and hang with her friends, until demons started to come to the city, the city fell and she is only one of her family to be alive, her heart is broken and she never smiles,laughs, or has a cute face on. She is always deadly and bloody after a fight, well until se meets Dante son of Sparda he saves her from demons that ad a upper hand on her for once, she wakes up and she sees him, he makes her feel at home again what does he feel about her? Mel was walking through the streets...it was really quiet she knew that was bad form the start. She got her guns out and she looked around, not noticing what would happen.

Dante was on the rooftops. He had gotten a job offer from a guy who had payed him double to investigate demon attacks in the town. Needing the money, he had taken the offer. He didn't expect much trouble. Now on the rooftop, he watched and waited for any demon activity. He inhaled the last of his cigarette and tossed it off of the rooftop. Watching it fall, he spotted a girl walking on the street. She looked scared, and had weapons drawn. 'Won't do her much good,' he thought. He watched her carefully as she walked the length of the block. Suddenly, from behind the girl, 3 demons, disguised as human men, materialized and prepared to strike. Dante moved in to assist her, if need be.

Mel looked at a cars window reflection who was following her and she sighed and started to speed her pace and then she ran down a alley on her right and she quickly jumped on the roof an hanged on the ledge covered by the shadows waiting for them to come into view.

Dante was surprised by her athleticism. She moved quickly out of the demon's line of view. He Watched her from across the street as she carefully waited for her enemies. But she hadn't seen another demon, one hiding on the roof next to her. This could be trouble.

Mel gasped when she knew it was to late cause she noticed a demon was above her on the roof and he stomped on her hand and she let go and hit the ground hard and she coughed up blood and groaned. She got up and shot the demon on the roof.

Dante watched the scene unfold before him. She was human, so the fall probably injured her; she was likely incapacitated. The demons from before were rounding the corner. Dante rolled his eyes and pulled out his twin magnums. He jumped off the building, flipping midair and landing delicately on his feet. He raised his weapons and fired just as the demons were standing behind the girl. The bullets entered the demons' skulls with a sickening crack and Dante smiled as they fell to the earth. He casually approached the girl. He said, "Are you alright? You kinda fell off the building there."

She looked at him and groaned in pain a little coughed up more blood."No...I hurt my back..." she said with a tired voice. She looked at him and sighed,"Thanks for coming in to help me."

Dante felt uneasy near this girl in a way that noone had ever made him feel before. He held out his hand. "No worries," he said. "Name's Dante."

She took his hand and she got up and used the wall for support,"Thanks Dante..and my name is Mel."

"Well, Miss Mel," Dante said, taking a business card from his jacket pocket. "If you ever need anything, look me up." He tossed the card into the air and turned and walked away. He walked back to the train station and boarded the train back to the city. He left the train and walked to the shop, where he sat down at his desk for a nap.

She looked at the card,"Devil May Cry....his place isn't far just a train ride away." she smiled adn put the card in her back pocket and she started to walk to the train station,'Maybe I can pay him a visit...I never really met a guy like me before, well fighting demons anyway.' she thought smiling and she sat down on the train.

Dante awoke from his nap by the smell of pizza. There was a box sitting on his desk with a note taped to the top. It was from Enzo. Dante took the note and placed it in the desk. He'd read it later. He began to eat the pizza.

She got off the train and she started to walk along the street and she saw a lit up sign that had Devil May Cry on it. She smiled and she started to walk to the shop and she knocked on the door.
