Our story begins...
...with two sets of twins. It is a new school year at Ouran Academy, and Second Year high-schoolers Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachiin are finding that not everything turns out how they always want or expect. Having been used to being by the other's side constantly, they are in for a rude awakening when they discover they are not in the same Second Year class with each other. They both are unsure how to cope with it, especially since when they brought it up with the Headmaster, he told them they were stuck with it. Apparently a request had been made that the two be separated because of all the ruckus they caused, and that was the end of it. They are going to have to learn to live with being separated throughout most of the day, and it's sure to be a challenge.
Enter the Shizimu twins - Hikari Shizimu and Akari Shizimu, a famous writer and a famous singer (respectively). They are twins, as well, and - having been transferred to Ouran Academy - are in separate classes, as well. Hikari Shizimu has class with Hikaru Hitachiin while Akari Shizimu has class with Kaoru Hitachiin. Hikari, the more quiet and docile sister, is unsure of what to do, and is extremely grateful when Hikaru helps her out. Akari, the more outgoing of the two sisters, notices Kaoru's detachment to most of the students in the class and decides to approach him and help him out. Both sets of twins find each other easy to get along with, and thus an acquaintance of sorts starts.
However, things are not always what they seem, as the two sisters are hiding something, something that could ruin everything if it is revealed. But their scheme becomes more and more difficult for them as they become attached to the two brothers. Feelings arise, which means problems are surely not far behind - so just what will happen to these twins? Well, we'll just have to wait and see, won't we?

Well, since both of us know how sporadic we can be, this will only be a problem if it's been a couple of weeks since we've posted. We can give each other nudges - how's that sound? :D
