The World Empire City- The City State of Empire City, one of the biggest empires on the planet, with a few kingdoms outside of it's control, but pretty much the world belongs to Empire City. Downtown- downtown of Empire City is where most of the business goes on for the City State. Anything can be found here from large banking businesses, to restraunts, opera, theater, pizza places. People also live here but living life near downtown isn't as flashy as one would imagine. It's really like a step or two up from living in the slums. The Post-A common part of the city-state where many people live. People ranging from teachers, electricians to business owners live here. Most people are working class but can still enjoy what the city has to offer them. The Slums- Where the low income people live. Many are workers who work in factories. Pretty much if you live here, you'll end up dying here. The mortality rate is quite low here and death is nothing new on the streets. Though crime is a factor this could possibly be the place with the lowest crime rate in Empire City. The Old City- The Old City is where Empire City started, as a humble gathering of houses a few business, ect. People still live here but it's primarily seen as a museum district, being how many business here make profit from the touring of the humble beginnings of a huge empire. Energy District- The district of the empire that provides it with it's technological side. Home of many neucular plants, as well as water plants, sanitation goes on here as well. Many people work in this portion of the city. Some people who have abilities are utilized to help keep the ecosystem blanced. New Haven-This is where the "elite" live. Everything and Everyone important lives here, and not many people are able to get inside. It is heavily guarded. New Exhire-A settlement that is outside of Empire City. Having been built by "rebels" they live here peacefully, free from the oppression of Empire City. Trading/Ariel District-This is where trading with other nations and colonies take place as well as for ariel machines for commercial use, trading, and even war machines. Medical/Science and Research District-One of the largest and most invested places in the world, this medical district is home to every medicine known to man. Many labs are homed here where the name of science is the number one rule here, many classified and top secret projects are kept here. The Underworld-This is where "undesirables" dwell. Mostly races other than hume live here. Some people are banned here as well as it serves as a housing community for the imprisoned.

Name: Jade Ayti Age: 22 Race: Drago Hume Profession: Dancer Appearance: Personality: Jade is a hardworking indvidual. She normally tries to stay focused on what she has to do in order to survive the world she lives in. She is normally great at being a sort of chamellion when it comes to personality, she tends to act a certain way depending on the situation at hand. On an intimate level, she is very level headed and caring to people who she cares about...though that is few in numbers. She sort of has a complex with me. Five years ago she was raped and things haven't been the same for her. As a result she has a cold exterior to a point. Weapon(s): Metallic Staff Abilities: Photokinesis, Hydrokinesis, and teleportation (cherry blossoms appear as she teleports) Bio: Jade comes from a Hume mother and Drago father. Humes as you know are equivalant to humans, while a Drago is a dragon like creature that can take on a hume form. It is outlawed for humes to reproduce with "undesirables" and it can be punished by banishment or death. Anyways, Jade's parents met while her mother was on business in The Old City. It was as if as soon as they met each other they fell in love, married and then had Jade. For a while they were able to get away with their secret but Jade being a young halfling couldn't control her abilities.
When it was discovered, her father was brutally slain and her mother was sentenced to death. She was sent to the Underworld to live with "her kind" but as a young child she was not accepted as one might have thought. When she was around eight years old she escaped and made it to an area known as "The Post". An elderly couple took Jade in and raised her as their own. When she was 17, one day after walking home from school a group of guys assaulted her....after that she registered in self defense classes. Soon the older couple passed away and Jade needed work to support herself. Taking on a job as an exotic dancer, she does her job to maintain. The only thing now is that she has to continue to hide who she really is. A purge is happening (one of many horrible events that happen in Empire City) and half breeds and "monsters" are being hunted for their magical properties or even as trophies.
She trains in martial arts and weaponry and with her ability of teleportation, has came up with a somewhat safe way to keep herself protected in the horrid streets. Other: Jade can transform into a Drago State and her strength and speed increases as well as her abilities but really happens in great times of stress.Name: Zero Age: 21 Race: Hume Ehanced Clone Profession: Experiment Appearance: Personality: Zero has the personality of that of an eager and innocent child. He doesn't see the world as it truly is but to what he has accepted to be fact with him. He's curious and tends to be a little dense at times. Underneath it all, he's just trying to grasp an understanding of life and who he is. Weapon(s): Electric Sword Abilities: Electrokinesis, Propulsion and Umbrakinesis Bio: Zero is a hume enhanced clone. Basically his base genes are that of a hume male. Enhanced meaning his physical is above average for a man of his age, as well as his other senses are greatly enhanced. He is capable of learning at a much faster rate than a typical hume male. Zero was created to be a templet for super soldiers of Empire City and would soon replace the policing unit there as well. His DNA was extracted from a warrior many years ago, and often Zero has memories from his "past" but can't decipher which ones are his and which one's aren't. During an "episode" he escaped his incubation tank and began to wonder around the medical district of Empire City. Other:Name: Calisto Age: ??? Race: ??? Profession: Appearance: Personality: Weapon(s): (If any...they can also be trained in utilizing a weapon) Abilities: Ability Absorbtion, Shape Shifting, psychometry Bio: Other:Abilities gained from absorbtion: Acid/Poison generation, High Endurance, Gaseous form, sound, animated hair, and solar energy Hunter FormName:Isa Corbat Age: 17 Race: Fox Hume Profession: Slave, taken from the underworld with her brother when she was 12 and has been traded from person to person since, mostly as a decorative or pleasure peice Appearance:Isa Personality: she is quiet and rather flinchy when you meet her at first, being one who has been used since she lost her freedom, but if you are nice to her you can find she is a hopeful dreamer and a pleasant being to be around. Weapon(s): none Abilities: Telepathy with her older sibling, although that itself has a range, she is also an empath of sorts, cannot control the ability, but she radiates her emotions to others. Bio: Isa was second born of the twins in the Corbat family, the youngest of the two they both were spoiled and she loved her parents dearly, their parents died in a hunt barely 8 years after their birth and from then on her brother was her life, they worked together to survive in the underground until the day they were captured by some Hume slave traders and taken to old city where they were imedeatly sepearated as a potencial buyer saw her value instantly, she was then transported to New Haven where she was picked up by a memeber of the elite and has been swaped from house to house since. Other: she still trusts her brother to save her.Name:Ivan Corbat Age: 17 Race: Fox Hume Profession: Runaway slave Appearance: Ivan Personality: distant and rather cold, he tries to discourage people from getting to know him since it comprimises his secret. if he gets to close people might figure out he isnt what he appears to be so he tries his best to blend in and be as inconspicious as possible. Weapon(s): one 45 semi automatic had gun and a shot gun, along with a pair fo butchering knives. Abilities: Telepathy with his sister, and an ice ability Bio: Ivan lived with his sister after their parents died, promising to keep her safe until the slave traders came and took them both away, he fought for his freedom and managed to gain it, but was to late to save his sister, now he searches for her relentlessly, hoping to some how get her back and take her away from this government mess. Other: N/A atmName: Ambrosia Age: 210 Race: Witch Profession: Advisor/Spy, Assassin Appearance: Personality: Ambrosia is a cunning woman. Using her body and her words to pretty much get what she wants. She's very persuasive and a thinker. She's relentless in battle and never hesitates to hurt or kill who she is after. She's very obedient to Zephyr and believes that Empire City needs to fall. Weapon(s): Two enchanted steel fans Abilities: witchcraft/summoning, sonic scream and flight Bio: Ambrosia was born in The Old City...well rather created. Her "father" was a sorcerer who provided herbal healing for the people of the city and other things such as good luck charms, ect. His wife had passed away from an incurable illness and it saddened him deeply. Taking the remains of her body, he didn't burry them but he began a ritual. Gathering the right ingredients and using some of his own blood he crafted Ambrosia after his true love and Ambrosia was "born". He raised her with all the love she could ever imagine and to Ambrosia she felt as normal as any other person. Then the purge began to happen. It was no secret that her father practiced magic, so as soon as it began officers kicked down their door and took him away as well as Ambrosia. Her father was executed and Ambrosia was put into a cyrogenic sleep. For over 150 years, she was kept underneath a secret location until one day she woke up, shattering the ice she escaped killing anyone who was there. She soon became a wanted fugitive in Empire City and fled. She wondered for months until she met a man named Zephyr. She trained with not only him but a martial arts specialist who focused on Ninja Style, giving her a fairly great background in fighting. Other:Second Outfit

Name: "Cap" Just Cap. You'll learn my real name when I feel like telling you. Age: 28 Race: Hume Profession: Previously a soldier, now a freelance bodyguard. Appearance: Personality: Generally not very serious, tends to make jokes out of everything, but knows when a touch of seriousness is needed. Weapon(s): Carries a modified recharger pistol (Never runs out of ammo, provided it has time to charge), a short sword for close combat, and whatever else he feels he needs for his particular job. Abilities: Psychokinesis, minor pyrokinesis (can't do big things, just shoot fireballs and start fires) and his agility is much higher than a normal person. Bio: Cap lived an average life, never really stood out from the crowd. His family wasn't wealthy or overly poor, just average. He rarely got into trouble in school, except when he got brought in for fighting, defending those who needed his help. Cap joined the military because he felt he needed the money to set himself up for the rest of his life. He took his training and military knowledge and became a very successful bodyguard. Known for his excellent record and his good service charge. He's not overly expensive to hire, and sometimes he won't even take money for his work, but he manages to get by and has a decent apartment on the outskirts of New Haven. His parents died in an accidental gas explosion not long after he became a bodyguard, and he still hasn't quite gotten over it. Other: Prefers not to talk about his abilities or his life, it would be a fairly boring story if he did. Name: Rose Butler AKA "Black Rose" Age: 84 Race: Elf Profession: Assassin Appearance: Personality: Rose has a very dark personality. She has a morbid sense of humor, but is mostly serious. Annoyed most of the time, very few things crack her outer shell. She almost always tries to distance people. Rose rarely shows this fondness, but she has been caught smiling once or twice. Weapons: Has a large collection of guns and other weapons, but prefers to use her daggers. Abilities: Teleportation (Near instantaneous and silent), terrakinesis, and enhanced 5 senses. Bio: Rose grew up in the lower district of the Old City, her mother died when she was three, and her father was a bounty hunter trying to make ends meet and care for his child. Rose wanted nothing more than to become a bounty hunter just like her father. She learned most of her basics from him, and refined her technique as she took on more and more jobs. When she was 18 her father died when he went after a particularly high profile criminal. Rose found out who killed him, and went after their entire organization. She killed their families, their friends, everyone who ever did business with them, and she left not a single trace of evidence as to who killed them all, only a single black petaled Rose by the bodies of each of her victims, hence her nickname. Now Rose works as a platinum grade assassin, essentially a bounty hunter of the highest caliber. She takes on jobs others refuse, completes them with nary a trace of her involvement, and gets paid in a timely manner. Rose follows her father's strict set of rules, but believes that she needs to break them every now and then to accomplish a mission. She only has one rule that she refuses to break: do not kill innocents. So every one of her targets is in some way, shape, or form, a scumbag. If someone comes to her with a job, and the target is innocent, she will not do it.
Other: Rose prefers not to talk about her past, and hasn't told anyone the whole story. Name: Richter Leon Zephyr Age: 97 Race: Halfling (Hume and Drago) Profession: Leader of the AECC Appearance: Personality: Kind and caring, doesn't want to see people hurt or die, but knows it is necessary to fight injustices. Has a split personality who is essentially a homicidal maniac and cuts up anything that breathes with a knife. Weapon(s): Skilled with any sort of blade, carries around a very large combat knife and throwing knives, as well as a shotgun if needed. Abilities: Air manipulation. (Can cut off the air surrounding someone so they can't breathe) Metal manipulation. (Can bend and twist and even melt metal to suit his purposes) Bio:Richter grew up in Underworld, so he knows what a rough life is like. Watched as his family was killed and he was left alone. He lived alone for a number of years before he decided to leave Underworld at the age of 24 and made his way to New Exhire. It was there that he saw how corrupt and unjust the government in Empire city was. He wasn't always successful at containing his other personality and had to be restrained before he killed one of his subordinates. Started the AECC twenty years ago, and is always trying to get more supporters from Underworld to join. Other: When Zephyr's split personality come to the surface, his eyes turn from emerald green, to bright golden yellow, and his pupils become slits. He tends to lock himself in his room when he feels his other personality rising to the surface.

In a nightclub in upper downtown, a young woman with bright red hair and eyes could be seen. She was an employee at the night club working as an exotic dancer. Not a stripper just a dancer who performed in skimpy clothing. Her name was Jade. She wasn't embarrassed of her profession like some people would be, just simply did what she had to do to survive in Empire City.
Her shift was nearly over as she stepped off the stage and went behind the stage as she began to press the buttons to make her an expresso. Looking into the mirror she looked at her reflection and began to gather her things such as makeup and clothing. She would probably go and stop at a diner to eat at before making her way back to The Post, which was quite a ways from downtown, but luckily public transportation was 24/7.
Jade soon waved at the other dancers as she took the exit from the back and walked through the dark allies. She had to be careful, especially now that Empire City had an ordinance of a purge of the city state. All non-humes to be captured or killed, luckily for her she knew how to stay under the radar. Stepping into a train it began to pull off in a fast manor as she left downtown and began to head towards The Old City. It was right before anyone would get to The Post. There was a place that served her favorite pastory and she had been craving one for the longest.
Walking into the shop she looked at the selection but had her order in her mind already. Ordering the pastry she payed and waited for her order. When her number was called she smiled and thanked the owner as she walked outside walking towards the nearest light rail again.

Sighing lightly, Cap sat on a bar stool in a nightclub, his back to the bar and watching the various dancers. One in particular caught his eye, one with bright red hair and eyes. He continued watching until she stepped off stage, but noticed two shady customers who were still watching her even as she stepped behind the stage. They didn't look like your average nightclub goers. It seemed that the dancer had a couple of stalkers, and not in the good way, if there was a good way to have a stalker. He paid for his drink and stood up, following the two men out of the club and onto the train. These two obviously weren't looking for an autograph from the dancer, and Cap noticed that they both had some rather nasty looking military weapons on them. He wondered if they were working for the government, maybe the dancer was a non-hume or a half-breed. Cap didn't care, he didn't care for the purge in the first place, he thought it was disgusting to talk or think about.
As the train came to stop, the dancer and the two men stepped off, and naturally, so did Cap. The three of them followed the dancer and the two waited outside the shop as the dancer and Cap went inside. The pair obviously weren't terribly good, they hadn't even noticed he'd followed them from the club. He stepped into line behind the dancer, and made sure his order was something simple and readily available. He watched the dancer exit out of the corner of his eye and quickly paid for his own order and followed her out. It was a game of cat and mouse, and dog if you counted Cap; he followed the cats that were after the mouse. Cap wondered when the pair would try and "take care of" the dancer. He didn't expect to be paid for helping her, and she looked like she could hold her own, it was just his good deed for the day.

Jade hadn't noticed that two men had been following her since the club. Well there were always the one's who wanted a little "extra" for their buck, but Jade never dealt with those kind of people. When she did turn to leave the pastry shop she eyed a young man with white hair...he was physically attractive but she payed him no mind as she waited for the rail to come.
When it finally came she stepped on. It was empty. Nobody really rode to The Post at this time of night and it was expected to be a lonely ride. Jade had no family and could count on a couple of fingers how many friends she had.
She then took a seat and took out what to appear to be a simple flat object. She turned it on as a 3-D projection popped up as she looked at it. It was the news. She was well informed on the world around them and the coverage of the purge was on constantly. She had to...even if she "got away" this movement still affected her in one way or another.

Cap followed the two men onto the train where the woman had taken her seat. the train was completely devoid of other people, so it was just the four of them. The two sat a few seats away from the woman, and Cap sat just opposite them, waiting to see what would happen. As the dancer pulled out a vid-screen and started watching the news, one of the men signaled to the other that this was their chance. They didn't pay any mind to Cap, and he didn't move just yet. When the two approached the woman, Cap silently got to his feet, and stepped up behind the man closest to him, who turned around and looked at Cap, who just as quickly punched him in the face as hard as he could, nearly knocking the man over when he stumbled back into his partner. Cap sprung into action and quickly kneed the stunned man in the gut before elbowing him in the head, sending him to the ground, unconscious. The other man quickly turned around, and Cap kicked him in the stomach before planting his foot firmly in the man's face, sending him over as well, if not unconscious, surely missing enough of his face to stop moving for a bit.
Sighing Cap leaned over and searched their pockets, sure enough, he found their badges, and they did indeed work for the government. It didn't really bother Cap though, he approached the dancer and asked, "You alright? Those two were after you. Probably something to do with the purge if I'm not mistaken. We should get out of here before they come to." He smiled lightly at the redhead in front of him, hoping she wouldn't freak out. But he had a gut feeling that she wouldn't.

As Jade was watching the news, she quickly noticed that a man was fighting two other men, she had no idea why but as they fought she clenched her belongings, just praying that she could make it to The Post in one piece. Once the other two men were down she looked at Cap.
She looked at him as he spoke. Purge?!?!? Why would he say that? She hadn't used her abilities or even resembled a non hume why did he approach her. "Um...thanks...I didn't know I was in danger" she told him in a monotone voice. Looking at the bodies and the badges in his hand meant he was telling the truth.
"I don't know why they would come after me, I'm just a dancer" she explained. She stepped off the train with Cap and looked at the board that had the rail schedules, hopefully there would be another one here soon. "Why would they be after me?" she half asked him but mainly to herself. "Thank you by the way I guess...I'm Jade" she said in an uninterested tone as she focused on the schedules.

Cap stepped off the train with the woman and watched as the train sped off, taking the two unconscious agents with it. He smiled lightly and said, "I don't know either, but they were following you since you left the nightclub. Not very good considering they didn't notice I was following them... I'm Cap, good to meet you, and no thanks needed, I couldn't just stand by and let that happen." He stretched his arms above his head and looked around. He wasn't sure if the two agents would radio in their failure, the price of going against the purge was definitely no joke. He felt a rather cold vibe coming from the woman, and he could only guess why she was acting that way towards him. He didn't really mind, he was sure she had her reasons. Sighing lightly he said, "I don't think it's a good idea for you to head home alone, the agents might call it in and send more people after you, and me..." Cap pulled out a small black box, no bigger than a cell phone, and flipped it over, pressing a few of the buttons on it, and it opened up to a small 3-D screen, showing various radio transmissions. It was a scanner, so he could keep an eye on the police chatter if necessary. He looked at it for a few seconds then folded it up and put it away, saying, "It looks like our two friends already called it in, we should get out of here as soon as possible." Cap glanced around again, making sure they were still alone for the time being, waiting for the woman to answer him.

Jade just wanted to get a goodnight's sleep so that she could wake up in the morning and take care of some things. As Cap explained everything she took it in as she stopped looking at the schedules and looked at his scanner. Damnit it meant she couldn't go to the post tonight and she didn't want to try and rent a room back downtown.
Looking at Cap she sighed in frustration. "Great now I have to rent a room downtown. Again, thank you for kindness" she told him. She didn't understand why he was being so nice, the people of Empire City normally just looked out for themselves and The Purge had people almost inhumane.
"Do you know of any alternative routs and perhaps a pretty decent place to crash for me? I have my own money just don't want to blow it for just one night" she informed him. She looked around as she took in The Old City...it was very diverse and cultured even at night time.
