Before I had the pleasure of finding the Pokemon subforum in the Gaia forums, I had no idea so many people still loved Pokemon So I had to ask, how many of you still love Pokemon? If you don't, when did you start drifting from it? Were you ever a fan at all?
If you were/still are a fan, which game(s) is/are your favorite and why? emotion_kirakira
I have to say that Pokemon Crystal was still my favorite out of the entire series. I probably replayed that game over 30 times and never got tired of it. I liked that both the Pokemon from Kanto that I was so familiar with and all the new Pokemon coincided with each other in one region. They were all so interesting as well.
I also enjoyed that it wasn't just Johto that I could adventure though. I was able to go back to Kanto and see how it turned out after 3 years had passed in that region. The region was so different and everyone had grown up. People used different Pokemon and they were all so much stronger.
I loved all the new additions as well. Night/Day, radio, phone, new Pokeballs, going up waterfalls, it was all so great. ♥

I love pokemon I'd have to say crystal was my favourite, too...I haven't played it in so long, though. I dunno what happened to mine. D: Among the things you mentioned, I also liked being able to cut the grass. 83 I wish that was still in the later games... I also used to collect the cards until I lost them all when I had to move. ;n;

Yay. emotion_kirakira You can't find it? D8 Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. I liked to cut the grass too. I actually spent time cutting it just because it was fun to do. Then I would cut it so I didn't have to battle anything because I was too cheap to buy repels. xD I still have the cards I got over the years. I never actually bought them. I either got them from friends or took them from the store when I was little without thinking. xd

Aww I'm still a fan and probably will always be <3, I've loved pokemon since I was little. And my favs were Pokemon Crystal, Becuse it had so much fun new things like those you mentioned I specially loved the time change or whatever that is called xD, and Firered (I just love the first gen so much ;w; ), though I felt sad they didn't put much effort in the game like the ones before, it was technically just a simple remake of the first ones with few new things to explore, I mean I enjoy every second of it but, I mean couldn't they add the Day/Night feature or anything else? Well that's about it ^^, I don't have the original games anymore though, had to sell them a long time ago u.u, I downloaded an emulator to play them on my computer but it isn't the same you know :/, now I have a nintendo ds x3, and I'm trying to get that card where you can put gba games and play them on the ds, though in my country they are hard to get. I'm hoping to get Pokemon Black/White this christmas <3 emotion_kirakira

I still keep up with the games. Black/White have been my favorites since they came out, but the 2nd and 3rd gens get points for being nostalgic. emotion_awesome

I grew up with the original Red and Blue and I still love the games til this day. I've only managed to play Black and White via downloadable roms for the computer and yes I'm happily awaiting the day for Gen 6 just to see how much more creative Pokeymans the developers can think up 3nodding
