Stage 2 sad Genin) It grows a wood shuriken (or several shurikens) connected by a chain. The chakra is extended, increasin the range slightly and the power and cutting ability greatly. The chain can be extended with chakra and seperate shurikens not connected can be grown at varrying sizes for projectiles. They an be connected as an option to maintain chakra protection. The connecting chain of vines is not connected and can be severed, cutting off the chakra flow.
Stage 3 sad Chunin) The blade is thrust into the ground. It can then grow underground roots that can resurface to be used by the weilder as weapons or tools. The roots are protected by chakra. They can grow leaves that convert sunlight into chakra. Parts of the roots can be infused with chakra to make mines. The user cannot release the blade or remove it from the ground when using this technique. The roots can be disconected at will, but they will then loose their chakra. They cannot be ungrown.
Stage 4 sad Jonin) The blade grows larger and encases the user in armor like a samurai's. The blade and armor are enhanced by chakra and can be manipulated to grow into whatever forms the user wishes. The user cannot manipulate wood not grown from the blade and if the forms are disconnected, they only maintain chakra for a short ammount of time.
Stage 5 sad Sanin) The blade shatters and the handle directs all of the user's chakra (still connected to the body to prevent death) in a tree shaped blade. The chakra can be manipulated in any way (slicing, smashing, defence, ect.) It has no physical form or color and can only be seen or sensed by those with a kekai genkai or object that allows them to do so. The blade can be reassembled when the jutsu is undone, but is then unusable for a few hours. (15 posts)

xxxxxx Background History|| Quen was only 7 when his father died. He'd been planning to become a Samuri like his father, but when his father died protecting the village, his brother was the only one he had left. He followed his brother's footsteps and became a shinobi. He still held close his father's teachings. His father had spent years teaching Quen about the wooden blade. He taught him what kind of wood was required, the integrity needed of the wood, and how to perfectly carve it. There was much trial and error. Quen chose Kakera because it channels chakra with ease. The chakra follows the paths made by the grain in the wood almost as easily as it flows through the chakra system in his body. Quen now strives to become strong enough to protect his remaining family, his friends, and himself so that he might someday pass on his father's legacy.

Character Description
Looks: Silvery Hair up in lots of thin spikes. Almost always stands with a straight back and correct posture. He is rarely seen without at least one yo-yo with him. Always wears shorts unless the cold weather prevents him.
Personality: Generally an aloof type, Shiro can get serious if the need arises. He is generally more interested in sweets and doing tricks with yo-yos over doing battle. If ever on a mission, he takes it very seriously and tends to strategize more than he attacks.
Background: Shiro was born to a father who was always a kid at heart and loved making toys, especially yo-yos. His mother was just as kind hearted as his father. Growing up in this environment, Shiro tended to shirk several of his duties and his parents tended to let him do so. This caused him to be fairly lax when it came to un-important matters. As he grew up, his father encouraged him to eventually become a ninja. Shiro thought this would be a good idea and began trying to get in.

xxxxxx Background History|| Blade's parents were orignally members of the Mist 7, but during the war against the Kaguyas, his uncle took him to the safet of the Grass Village. It is here that Blade has decided to join the Ninja Academy in order to become a great swordsman himself and seek revenge on the Kaguyas for his village's slaughter. As he graduates from the Academy with Flying colors, he begins training in the way of the sword, specifically the Santoryu Three Sword Style of the Grass Village. After finishing his training there, he heads out of the village in order to find new adventures and continue to become stronger. During his travels he ran into Axel Hajime. The two went on many adventures exploring the hidden villages and becoming chuunins respectively. At that time, the two joined the Brotherhood under the leadership of Rein Auditore, becoming stronger ninjas and working secretly, infiltrating the Hidden Villages. Blade now achieved the rank of Jounin and continues to train to reach the fabled S Rank.
