Inarichan Peace If you own Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 and have gotten to the the last level of story mode, congratulations. set down the controller and walk away. You won. There is no need to play that final battle. What? You want to unlock the rest of the characters and Mission Mode? Tough luck. You have to deal with The Computer is a Cheating b*****d. This is not Nintendo Hard, where the computer is just faster and smarter than you. You will try and fail many times until you finally win through pure, dumb luck. Your really gonna try this, huh? Guess I saw that coming. Well, here's the breakdown: Final Battle: Biju Cloak Naruto vs DiedaraThe match begins with Naruto's "Special State" (Biju Cloak) already active. You get to start a match with your super mode on! Yay- NOT! The lack of fast and/or ranged attacks is massively crippling here, and you DO NOT get the normal Super Armor that comes with it (Super Armor stops you from flinching from normal attacks, but you still take damage). So your pretty much screwed with that alone unless you go to training and get a LOT of practice with Biju Naruto. He is really strong, has great reach and priority, and is deceptively agile. Your opponent is Diedara, but not any Diedara: He automatically fights at AI level 4 (the highest without unlocks), has 200% health, x3 damage, and 300% chakra regen. Meaning he completely negates your doubled attack power and tripled health, and fills up a segment of his chakra bar with every hit he lands or takes. He tends to be extremely spammy with substitutions, especially air substitutions (which normal Naruto can dodge, but, guess what! Biju Naruto can't!) and his Low Strong spider bombs. Cool story, girl. To win this fight, basically use hit-and-run moves and avoid the spiders chasing you along the ground, and be ready to sidestep when he dashes behind you and shoves one up yours. Once you get him below 20% health, you better hope he doesn't start comboing you because if you Substitute, you will NOT live long enough to recharge your chakra. Then you just have to find a way to land his Ultimate Jutsu. If you miss and have less than 90% health, just pause and restart to save time. Good freaking luck. You are going to need a LOT of it. For those of you who wanted to unlock ANBU Kakashi and Bando (both are worth it, even if only for 100% completion), follow these simple steps, courtesy of 'sailor orion'. First off, beat story mode (Deidara, for whom the strategy is listed above, is the final boss). This unlocks Mission Mode. Buy Mission Mode. Complete all "S" Rank battles in Mission Mode. "S" Rank battles are essentially the same as the Deidara battle (eg. High AI level, extra health, extra damage, insane chakra regen, ect), but with different opponents and with varying circumstances. Kudos to the pro who can beat them all without smashing something in sturm un drang. ANBU Kakashi and Bando will be unlocked for purchase. They cost 100,000 ryo apiece. You will likely have enough after Mission Mode. I said simple, right? No-one said simple was easy. *As an alternate method for Bando (and some cash to boot), putting the Save Data from Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2 on your system will give you the Veterans Bonus of Unlocking Bando for free and a extra 50,000 ryo. This will be frustrating. Have patience. A lot of patience. gaia_diamond

Wow, a sticky Naruto thread! And I got quoted for the opening! I guess I can put up some general pointers, since the above is rather specific. If anyone wants to have some Specific Character or battle tips, ask away! Two (or more) heads are better than your own, so give us some fun!
Tips and Tricks:
Unanswerable Attacks: One of the main things in any fighting game is dealing as much damage as possible without taking damage in return, so their health bar hits 0% before yours. In Naruto, this is the combo to knockdown. Once you have a standard combo going with Weak attacks, you will eventually disengage with your opponent damaged and you standing. The trick is to approach in a way that breaks your opponents guard and keeps yours until it is too late... Then go nuts!
Chakra Management: You charge Chakra all the time you are engaged. Blocking, attacking, and taking damage all fill the bar. You expend it while Substituting, Canceling, Throwing/Setting Explosives, and using Special Jutsus and Transformations. Players really ought to know already that Secret/Team Combo Jutsus use up the whole damn bar. The trick is to use it to maximize your damage and minimize your own. If you have a full bar and your opponent is sting still, own them. If you are caught in an annoying combo, Substitute out. Still, do NOT use valuable Chakra if you can dodge or hurt them normally for certain.
Special Justus: These are what happens if you trigger the Jutsu button while in midair, or holding back, down, or up. Some of these use up the whole bar, some half, some three-quartres. A basic example woud be Naruto's Air Jutsu, where he makes a standard Rasengan and dives at a diagonal into the ground for a tiny area attack. I'll include all of these in my requested character summaries.
Transformations: I debated adding these under Special Jutsus, but they behave differently so there here. Usually activated by Back/Jutsu, these substantially change the characters properties. Again, Naruto has an example with his Back/Jutsu, changing into Biju Cloak Naruto. Most cannot change back, a few can.

my techniques
disabling
i use kabutos disabling attacks to keep my enemy down and worthless while i use weak atttacks to pummel them and i use down and A use his dissapearing diable and to maintain zoning on my opponent
countering
i use this with multiple characters i hold back and weak attack to counter your moves and bounce you away from me plain and simple
i use this with sasuke, kazuku, neji, naruto, orochimaru, and kakashi and i know how to use the short animations in a split second
super forms
rock lee, kakashi, anko, akura and anko all have one
like said above back and B activates it but be warned you will take more damage but deal more damage
granny chiyo
this is a unique character you are basicly controlling 3 characters at once and shes tricky to get used to
first
keep your distance from your opponent chiyo is defenseless without her puppets close by
second use down throw and then both A or B to bring a puppet back
third to move your puppet out and into battle dash an then attack the puppet will do the rest
fourth the puppets do not have complex combos they both have an up move down move left move right move and 3 hit combo move nothing more but its about knowin how to applythem to battle that makes them good
fifth
chiyo can block using a shield move i forget how to do right now but i will update it later but it takes chakra fast

Out of boredom, I'm going to post the Character Breakdown for one of my absolute favorites:
MIGHT GUY
Type: Melee only, Powerhouse, Straightfoward Standerd Combo: 5-hit combo, goes airborne on the 3rd hit (3 and 4 are close together, making this difficult to cancel) Notable Moves: Strong-Foward (Severe Leaf Hurricane), Strong-Down>Strong (ground stomp to palm thrust), Up-Strong (blur to axe kick), Back-Strong (flank only counter, follow up with Down-Strong, Jutsu or a combo), "Paper Bomb" (Flying Kick, hits from behind if locked), Back-Jutsu (Gate of Rest: Attack power and Chakra regen boost, costs 75%), Down-Jutsu (Nunchucks! and Fire! This attack leaves you invlurlnable to attack from the front and constantly tracking your target as Guy swings wildly. DO NOT SUBSTITUTE IF YOU ARE CAUGHT IN THIS ATTACK! YOU WILL NOT ESCAPE! Costs 75%) Team Ultra Jutsu: With Rock Lee (Double Primary Heartfelt Lotus)
Tactics: Guy is really good at two things- Guard Breaks and individual combos. The first hit of his Down-Strong will stagger any opponents who are not airborne or backflipping in a small radius around him, and his Back-Weak will crush defenses faster than you can say "lolwut?" (To my great annoyance, Back-Weak does not work on a guarding Shikamaru). Guy has a hard time juggling opponents, but makes up for that with long, high-damage combos that you cannot use a Offensive Substitution to hit him out of due to its rapid forward movement. I prefer to open matches as close as I can get, immediately cutting lose his Back-Jutsu and knocking them away, plus getting the attack boost. However, this leaves you with no chakra right off the bat, so sprint to them before they get up and stay on the offensive, as Guy has surprisingly low health. All in all, so long as you can stay close in and are ready to sidestep Substitutions, Guy makes complete fools of anyone who is not Kisame or Sasori (Guy has issues against opponents with reach).

Small note for Kakashi players: As you probably know, Kakashisensi has more special Jutsus than any other character in the game. You have probably found most of them on your own, but I am adding a complete list here for the giggles.
Kakashi Hatake
Jutsu: Lightning Blade One-Two (Standerd cinematic).
Back-Jutsu: Sharingan (Second State; Automatic Chakra regain, attack power doubles, health drains slowly to 1%. Use again to deactivate).
Second State Jutsu: Kamui (hold until it drains THE ENTIRE METER, Kakashi is immobile during this charge. Hits anywhere on the field. Stupidly, can be blocked, but not dodged).
Down-Jutsu: Earth Style; Split-Earth Progecting Palm (Similar to Sakura's secondary Jutsu, hits all targets on the ground in a large area).
Side-Jutsu: Water Style; Water Shark Bomb (Exactly as Kisame's secondary Jutsu, fires a shark-shaped missile of water. Has equal priority to Kisame's, so the two cancel each other out in spectacular fasion).
Up-Jutsu: Wind Style; Whirlwind Jutsu (Similar to Baki's Jutsu. Pulls all characters towards Kakashi and hits multiple times, blocks projectiles, and is a beautiful anti-air)
Jutsu-Back: Fire Style; Giant Fireball Jutsu. This is tricky to pull off, instead of holding Back and triggering Jutsu (which activates Sharingan State), press Jutsu, wait for Kakashi to say "Enough!" and hold Back as he says then. The Fireball is identical to Itachi's, and will counter it hit for hit. (A 2-player team battle tactic is for Kakashi and Itachi to flank an opponent, then crush them between two fireballs)
Have fun! And stop spamming Down-Strong!
