 Basis This roleplay is based off the movie Sweet Home Alabama, about a girl who gets engaged to another man and has to return home and divorce her husband, whom she has not seen in seven years. At the end of the movie, they end up staying together. biggrin

Story
From the day they met when they were eight, they knew they were madly in love with one another. But when they turn sixteen and she moves out of state, and leaves him, though they are still together, things changed. More like, she changed. She comes back because she has to cut off loose ends to be happy with the man who proposed to her, though she was engaged still to the other boy from her home state. When that happens though, she is torn in two, not sure if she should stay with the boy she'd known for years, or the new boy.

 Background The girl looked over at her fiance, he smiled as he took her hand. They were looking out across a Tennessee field together, planning their future. Her cell phone rang, so she picked it up and gladly answered it. Her heart was crushed by her father's voice, as he told her they were to move.
"I will always love you." she told the boy with a smile.
"And I you. Keep that ring, because when you get back, we'll get married." he said as he kissed her passionately on the lips.2 years later The California boy smiled at the girl. He produced a ring. "I know we've only been together for two years. But I am head-over-heels in love with you. Marry me?"
The girl gasped and nodded happily. "Of course!" she exclaimed as he slid the ring onto her finger. She kissed him lightly on the lips and pulled away with a thought. Oh s**t. I'm already engaged! She looked down at the two rings on her ring finger and groaned a little. Time to take a trip back home.

 Profiles Hey there, my name is Valerie Hilton. People like to call me: Vixen. I am 18 years old. Most people like to say that I am: Funny, intelligent, short-tempered, tom-boy (though not as much anymore), a pessimist who tries to be optimistic, outgoing, loud, jokester. My life before now went a little something like this: I grew up in small town Dalesville, Tennessee with both of my parents. But then my parents got a divorce and I left with my father to California. A month before I left, at the age of sixteen, I got engaged to my childhood love. Then when I moved to California I met this boy, and I forgot my fiance in Tennessee, though I still always wore the ring he gave me. Now I am engaged to two boys, and I am returning home to end it with my childhood love. Wish me luck.
