xxxxxx Background History|| Rey was a rather wierd child. At birth, his family cared and loved him a lot. They would do anything for him and it rubbed of on him. As he got older, lots of events caused Rey to be sad. He ended up losing both his grandparents. They were murdered right infront of him and his parents did not do anything about it. This angered Rey. At the age of 8, Rey's anger exploded when his parents did not allow him to hang out with his friend Xai who's dad was classified as a missing nin. They were going to report him to the Kage but couldn't because of Rey. Rey ended up setting the house on fire in his sleep and escaped , but his parents were left there to die. They were not special ninja. The fire was classified as an accident and Rey was sent to live by himself, but under the guidance of shinobi as a father figure. At the age of 14, before Rey's finals, his father figure died while on an escort mission to the leef village. Now Rey has to raise himself and work to survive even though he was left with inheritences.

Background History

Karuda was born into a small village and into an abusive house hold. Karuda was born with greatness, his father was, Izuna, from the Uchiha clan and his mother, Karina, from the Gensou Goshuujin Clan, both of whom were adept at genjutsu, he was also born with a Cursemark that has been known to appear on genjutsu masters. He was born inside his parent's home with no doctors present, his parents were unlearned in ninja ways due to them both never inheriting their clan's abilities, so they didn't recognize the Cursemark for what is was and chalked it up to a weird birthmark. Karuda was often abused by both his parents, they often used broken glass to torment him, after all broken glass was easy to come by as drunkards. Due to all the wounds and scars caused by the abuse he was often forced to wear very concealing clothing to cover them, this is another reason his Cursemark wasn't noticed. While his parents seemed to like hurting him physically with glass they would often abuse him in many other ways, his father would torment him on how he would never be a real man and how he was a piece of worthless s**t, his mother would say he should have been a girl and he still made a better girl then boy. One day, for reasons never discovered the Yonha, Yama-Tsumi, four winged 'angel', attacked the small village completely destroying it, few escaped, Karuda was one of the few... Unfortunately his parents were too. The village attempted to band back together and eventually they disbanded, many of the inhabitants spread out into other villages.

Karuda ended up in Iwagakure, the village hidden in the rocks. As Karuda grew older and entered the ninja academy and grew stronger his parents seemed to back off and abuse him a lot less, as if fearing retribution. Karuda passed the exams to leave the academy easily and went on to train with his sensei, during their first training session he was able to master Chidori, a Jounin level technique, it was obvious that he was bound for greatness. It was during this time he met a ninja by the name of Velox, the two were never particularly close but they were friendly. After a while of training under his first sensei since leaving the academy the village was attacked by a large group of ninja of great power that seemed to be after the Tsuchikage, Earth Shadow, leader of the rock village. Karuda used the confusion caused by this to slay his parents and burn down his house, quickly fleeing the village.

Karuda eventually ended up in the village of Kumogakure, the village hidden in the clouds. While here Karuda learned surprisingly little, as he specialized in genjutsu, the ninja art of illusions, of which there were few masters. During his time there, there was a Chuunin exam which would allow him to move up a rank in the ninja world if he was good enough, he decided to enter. He first had to fill out a written test, which he passed easily. He then had to fight an opponent who never showed up. The proctor was unable to find someone for the child to fight and he was declared a Chuunin due to default victory. He returned to the hidden cloud village as a Chuunin and taught himself many great techniques and even taught a few students of his own, however there was something important he was missing. He wasn't gaining enough power. A while into Karuda appointment as Chuunin another Chuunin was advanced to the position of Raikage, Lightning Shadow, leader of the Cloud village. Karuda at first was happy for the Chuunin but it still ate away at him, why hadn't he gotten that strong? He worked as hard, if not harder then any others in his training and that’s when it hit him, he'd learned a while after that the four winged 'angel' had been sealed into the ninja, he was sure that was why the Raikage was so strong. After long delibieration, Karuda felt that there was nothing holding him there any longer.

Karuda left the Cloud village and journeyed the land, it was during this time he'd learnt about the apparent reconstruction of Iwagakure, his fondest home. He decided to be cautiously optimistic and go there to see for himself. As he reached the gates he was surprised they even still stood, he walked through them to see a bustling village. He saw the new Tsuchikage about joining the village and the man seemed all too happy to have Karuda. It was during this time of emotional and spirtual peace that Karuda settled down and opened a center, a place where all genjutsuists, regardless of village, were free to train under him.

Karuda’s genjutsu training centre had very few visitors but each was welcomed graciously and trained to the best of Karuda’s abilities. Karuda tried to forge a connection with a great many genjutsu user’s who passed through the centre but many of the links he had made crumbled as the genjutsuist ninja left the centre to return to their respective villages. Karuda attempted to contact the best genjutsu masters he knew from their infamy, Hanzo Uchiha and Katsuro Kamisama, he was unsuccessful... At that point. His failure infuriated him and he closed the centre half-way through the Chuunin Exams.

Karuda met up with a Genjutsu master by the name of Saotome Satoshi during his time proctoring the exams and the two hit it off like old friends. Karuda and Saotome learned a lot from each other. Karuda travelled to Kirigakure, the village hidden in the mist, for a short time to train with Saotome and met another Genjutsu master due to nothing but dumb luck. Hanzo Uchiha was in the Kirigakure forest talking to Akira, the ex-Tsuchikage who had somehow escaped the Iwagakure attack. After the two had finished their business Karuda moved out into the open and the two talked a short while, the conversation ending when Hanzo offered to train Karuda. Karuda politely declined the offer, deciding to return to Iwagakure and find his own way for the time being.

He returned to Iwagakure and trained a ninja called Slevyn Kalebra, he was as notable in his genjutsu skills as Karuda himself. Karuda trained the boy for a short time before taking him to Ronnel, an extremely skilled medic, in Kusagakure, the village hidden in the Grass. The reason he went to the medic was to get their eyes transplanted, Slevyn was a member of a rare bloodline that made his genjutsu even stronger then Karuda's, Slevyn had the Ranmaru eye Kekkei Genkai, bloodline. Karuda now possessed two different eyes that made his genjutsu stronger still. While in grass he worked on making them a genjutsu scroll due to their lack thereof.

Karuda then travelled to Konohagakure, the village hidden in the Leaves. While on what was nothing more than a tourism trip he met a man who claimed to be rebuilding Otogakure, the village hidden in the Sound. Karuda was intrigued by the information, the village hidden in the sound had been long closed and housed genjutsu knowledge he may need, as he intended to master every aspect of genjutsu. He agreed to join the sound village and was made a Jounin.

While in Otogakure, Karuda trained in the art of sound based genjutsu, which he found, was both powerful and easy enough for him to learn. While in Otogakure Karuda worked hard to earn the respect of the Otokage, Nanashi Ongaku, and did so by passing the test to be initiated into the elite squad of the Sound Five. Karuda was presented with the demon sound flute, a weapon of sound genjutsu mastery.

Karuda was very happy with his place in the world by this point, a Jounin, master of many genjutsu and he was a member of an elite squad but something was definitely missing... He decided to travel the world once more. During his travels he learnt that the Tsuchikage had perished, although Karuda had defected from the village the Tsuchikage was one of the few people he had ever truly cared about. He was truly upset about the death of his old master but continued on with his journey. His journey eventually took him to Amegakure, the village hidden in the rain, and to the Amekage, Rain Shadow. The Amekage was an extremely powerful woman who had the ability to summon dragons and most importantly she was the leader of the Akatsuki. She decided to test him to see if he was worthy of joining the Akatsuki; he had to try and tie her up. Using his amazing genjutsu skills alongside his snake jutsu and ability to plan every step he managed to tie her amazingly fast and was accepted into the Akatsuki.

After joining the Akatsuki he returned to Otogakure and searched the libraries and every source he could for information about Bijuu, Tailed Beasts, and their Jinchuuriki, the people they are sealed within. He wasn’t able to find much except the villages each Bijuu were in, which wasn’t much help seeing as it’s no secret if a village has a Jinchuuriki, due to their boasting or rather threats of using the Jinchuuriki against other villages.

He returned to the Akatsuki base to discover a letter from his cousin, Kaisen Uchiha, leaving his Magenkyou Sharingan to Karuda. Karuda left the Akatsuki base and vanished for an extended period. Karuda returned to Otogakure with a small child he claimed was his son, he left the boy, Omoi, with the Otokage of the time, Nanashi Ongaku. He left for a while, to train for Magenkyou Sharingan for himself, so he could use Kaisen's to make an Eternal MS.

After a while, he discovered Shahnz had died and his son had commited suicide, after seeking him (and his approval) for a long time, upon joining Kumogakure. He awakened his MS in Kumo and then traveled to Takigakure, the village hidden in the waterfall. Here he met a young girl Hikari, the Rokubi host. She was a genjutsuist like him, and he thought it best to keep an eye on her. While there he met, and brushed shoulders with, Kiyoshi, a much more powerful ninja, who killed the clone Karuda sent to him.

Karuda returned to his run down home, outside Otogakure, to use Kaisen's MS to give himself the EMS, in solitude, hoping no one would learn of his eye, till the time was right

Appearance:

Karuda wears extremely covering clothing, he is extremely skinny and when he is shirtless you can see his ribs standing out against his skin. His skin is extremely pale and tinged with grey with a slightly scaly texture.

"Hmm wonder where he can be" Rey stated as he walked onto the training field where he would spar with that creepy dude who enetered Kumo. Kumo was his home, but apparently he knew the Kage some how so he did not worry about it. Rey took out his katana from his back and held it. He wanted to be ready. He knew that Karuda was good at genjutsu, but also that he would have to dodge the genjutsu and get a hit. A hit would be critical since Karuda probably didn't attack much and just used genjutsu. However, dodging genjutsu against someone of his rank would mean fightning with eyes closed. Lets not forget the sharingan. That was a concern too. With that, Rey smiled and waited patiently.

Karuda sighed, walking out onto the training field "S'always me, that looks after the kiddies" he said, not loud enough for Rey to hear, however. "Okay, change of plans, you're going to be fighting..." he said, biting his thumb and pressing his hand to to the ground, summoning Manda, the head of snake summons

"...Him"

Karuda climbed up the snake and yelled, loud enough for the boy to hear "Look, Manda, fresh meat!" then he added, in a whisper the boy would never hear "take it easy, and I'll summon you for a full buffet, not just one human sacrifice."

"Karuda! You summon me like a child's play thing, hmph, fine... This... One... Time..." Manda said, clearly quite pissed off

While waiting, Rey heard a big loud noise and the snake could blatantly be seen. "Well um..damn" Rey stated as he figured that is most likely where Karuda was. He was not bothered by the fresh meat talk. He would not let that thing kill him. With that, Rey started to head towards Manda with his katana in hand waiting to get closer.

Manda looked at the child "Hmph, you waste my time, this morsel isn't even a snack" he said, to Karuda. Manda slivered forward, at a speed much greater then the gennin should be able to keep up with, the reared his head and brought it down, to catch him in his mouth, however, Manda did hold back and give the gennin enough time to dodge, easily.

Rey looked at the summoned creature go for an attack and he smiled as he analyzed the attack and jumped out the way with a major jump which he dodged the attack and went to go attack the head of Manda with his katana.
