They act like this most of the time Alex can get paranoid at times. If she has recently been abused, she'll get worried that her mother will appear to her. Even a poke will get her jumpy. She is really sensitive, and she mostly doesn't believe in herself. Her self-esteem is mostly down. She'll smile a lot with her best friend or her other guy friend. Alex is really delicate, one comment, even it its a joke, she'll start becoming sad. She can sometimes be funny. She'll act clumsy here and there, but she'll still look cute. Every time something bad happens, she'll blame herself and she'll keep apologizing.

When Alex was a young girl, her mother was always nice to her. Alex was always proud of herself when her mother always said "Good job, Alex!" And she would always smile. Alex was use to be the kind of kid who would get in the mud and spill ice cream on her white dress. Well, she use to.
When Alex was about 15, her mother and father divorced and split. Her father withdrew almost all the money before her parents split. This made Alex's mom furious. After that, Mrs. Valmonta started drinking and smoking. Putting down Alex and her little sister. She even gave a slap to Alex when she was really drunk. Alex was so sick of the abuse, she started acting crazy in her mind. But she knew she couldn't leave. Where would she go or where would she get money? And who would take care of her little sister? And with such questions like this, Alex stayed. Only for her sister. Alex always wanted to stand up to her mom, but she never had the courage. That's why Alex is so alone, only for her best friend. And that other guy.
Till this day, Alex is still being abused by her mom. Everyday words such as, "b***h, whore, stupid, dumb, worthless, trash, echoed" in her mind. She still tries to make her mom happy, getting good grades, earning a lot of money, but nothing is good enough for her mother. Except hitting and insulting is all. Alex has thought about suicide, but she knew she couldn't.
