This herla is one classy piece of work; and enjoys the finer things in life; like poetry, and classical music, and sinatra, and those little wienies... Those ain't classy? -sniffs and rubs arm against nose- Whut d'yuh mean those little Wienie things ain't classy? Whut evuh~ I obviously don't know whut's classy and whut aint.

So I wus hopin' yous all could help me out here with this. That fine piece of work over der don't want to seem to give me the time 'o day. Why don't yous all give it a try? I hear she likes poetry. Write her some up and see if she goes for it.


Rules of the game:
Goes until 5pm EST next sunday the 26th.
Judging will be done that day and announced either that night or the following Monday (the 27th.)
I'm hoping for pretty poems; but if you can write an awesome tacky one that might just win too <3

Let me take that classy Piece of work off your hands!

Seek it out and ye shall receive
The strange delight of shattered dreams

Broken promises like pouring rain
Cry deep rivers and fill me with shame

Disappointments abound wither me
Even when there's none to see

Like alabaster roses so fragile and dear
I am here, watching the dark clouds clear

Deepen your wounds and watch them bleed
Fall to the ground and plant the seed

Pain grows in us one by one
Even under the burning sun

We fight and battle; maim and claw
Gouge and hiss, batter and gnaw

We are fighters through and through
Even when the fights are few

We are unending like the great dry plains
And the heat of it all flows through my veins

I am an animal, ravaged by time
And I will not stray from here, for this is my crime

Never Ending



She flew through the clouds
She touched an angel
Lived as no one else had
And
died like everyone must
She was nothing,
and everything
She started
and never stopped
relentless…
She spread her wings
and flew to unknown places
She danced with elves
and rode dragons
She ran with your dreams
and stole your heart
She lived in a world of never ending freedom
However…
for a never beginning love
she was alone
in a world where
you could only do as you were told
So she sat the day away
And melted into the infinite sunshine
Never-ending…

Of golden suns that shine upon me
I run through valleys of pure glistening sands
No chances are taken against trying to find the sea
For the life in these harsh plains and lands

Is not the life for me

Roaming freely across many waves and plunders
Taking space to see beautiful mountains and trees
Of green grass that shines with full of wonder
To be scared here now with killer bees

Is not the life for me

Take me now, Oh please, oh please
I am but a shining star waiting to shine
And feel that cold and gentle breeze
To be hot and thirsty with lack of wine

Is not the life for me

And when I make it there to those Pride lands
Marching up to take my rightful place
I hope you will be there to take my hand
Only then will I embrace

I love it when the tempo's broken
And the waves that crash are mean
I love it when the blast comes rolling
And it sweeps us off our feet

I love that broken bass drop
Love the uneven beat
It makes the living harder
And it makes it hard to breathe

Listen to the bass drop,
And love that broken beat
It's like the Skipping of a song bird
Over the roaring of the sea
Cause it's never like you want it
Cause it might not ever be

But we know we come out stronger
We have to in the end
Cause when it comes down to it
We're just beginning to begin

I love it when the tempo's broken
And the bass's crash is mean
I love it when that blast comes rolling
And it sweeps us off our feet

I'm not saying that it's easy
I'm not saying that it's fun
I'm saying that it's worth it
Cause baby you're the only one

Cause I can be his song bird
And he can be my sea
Cause that's exactly how we want it
And that's exactly how it'll be

Poem Entry:

Upon luscious savannas and everlasting woodlands,
Our warrior ancestors took their last stand.
Brave and mighty our predecessors were,
Never once in the battle did they deter.
Their spears shone brightly in the sun,
They fought until there was only one.
Morani was his name,
A warrior of legend he became.
The enemy fell upon his might,
He fought until the earth contained no more light.
Strong and fearless warrior was he,
Without him we would not be free.
On that day, our Blood was shed,
But we stayed when many would have fled.
We learned a lesson that day,
There is always a price to pay,
For freedom does not come without cost,
But without it we are lost.
