Hey everyone. So I've been off of Gaia for a while and miss chatting with friends. I've been on hiatus so long I pretty much lost contact with everyone here on Gaia. So looking to make some new friends who enjoy chatting and hanging out in Towns.
I am single but I'm not looking for a Gaia relationship. I've gone through that route in the past and it wasn't my forte and left me pretty unhappy. I'd rather get to know someone in person casually than try dating online where people only seek a quick fix.
Anyways, enough of the that kind of stuff.
My name's Melissa and I'm 21 going on 22. I'm currently a senior in a private art college and spend my free time just chilling, hanging, and chatting with friends. I enjoy watching anime and cartoons and reading manga. I'm currently quite a busy person with one more semester left before graduating with a BFA with a double major in Fine Art and Entertainment Art. I love sculpting and drawing and seeking a career as a creature/character artist for film and games. I live in Washington nearby Seattle and am currently attending Emerald City ComicCon and Sakura Con. It will be my first year at ComicCon and my fifth or sixth year at Sakura Con? I'm going to ComicCon this year to try to sell some of my illustrations and sculptures. Pretty nervous about it but excited as well.
I guess my brain is currently in convention mode. Lol. So how is everybody? Anyone gone to a convention? Was there a particular year at a convention or a convention that you really enjoyed over others? How many conventions have you gone to and have you gone to any out of your state? If you haven't been to a convention, would you ever go to one if you had the chance?
