Magic has always been an art given to those with great will and focus. Magic usually takes great strength to use but if control is achieved then great things can be accomplished. Magic has been used to accomplish many great task and for a time people who possessed magic were considered powerful and revered and respected. They were seers and protectors that defended there kingdom from creatures and spirits. Overtime however it became a lost art and people began to forget as things got more modern. Were people once used swords, spears, axes were replaced with guns. Wizards were replaced with law enforcement and magic was soon lost. Wizard became mere myths and soon were all but destroyed magic only being known to those who had not given up hope that their time would come again but until that time they remained in the shadows. The creatures that had once threatened kingdoms were no longer around sealed away by the last known wizard. The world had on need for their kind any longer until the seal was mysteriously broken and those begins once kept by its seal. Though attacks were rarely seen they were rather brutal and creepy. The cops were at a loss as they could not stop these creatures. Thy found their answer when one wizard was seen with the ability to stop the creature after being caught up in a situation at the bank. They started a program with the wizard and assigned the wizard a partner. The wizard would work with the department to help them deal with the recent rise of paranormal and abnormal crimes as well as normal everyday crimes.
The department soon learned that the cause of these attacks were the Shalaviri a rouge group of magic wielding psycho's trying to plunge the world into chaos which is the scource of all these creates. They have assigned the wizard and his partner the job to stopping them before things got too out of control if they can survive it first.

:::=====================================::: A loud hum from a motorcycle sounded outside but its noise was muffled mostly by the thunder that had rolled in over night. The rider knocked the kickstand down and silenced the bike before walking up to the house that was to hold someone who she didn't believe really existed. It was clear that the body encased in the leather and nylon was female with her suit shaping to her body well in the rain polished black. She read the crumpled paper with an address and name, so she headed up the stairs. Her face and body was covered in armor for her bike but her normal clothes rested beneath it for when she got back to the department.
"Madis Vladirii, wizard huh?" she asked herself while knocking on the door. She kept her helmet on so she wouldn't become soaking wet in the downpour but she hoped that meant she wouldn't be attacked either.
She waited a few second for the door to open, but it didn't, she just opened it and then closed it behind her while waiting in the entry way for who ever this man was, probably a fraud. "Madis Vladirii? Hello?" she called through the house pulling off her helmet and letting her brown locks fall down her back while she waited and rather impatiently. She checked her phone seeing it was about six thirty so she didn't think he would be awake, but to bad. She was and wanted to get to work. :::================ ☜♥☞ ================:::

Midas was working on a potion when he heard a knock at the door, He wasn't expecting any visitors today so he continued to work until he heard the door open and he stood up "Why the hell would you barge into someones else's home like that." he said to himself and went to the entry way and looked over at her "Yes what is it?" he asked but seeing her a memory suddenly occurred to him. He looked over at his calender "Are you Rain Moritz?" he asked her. He looked at her "My apologies I was busy working on a potion." he said "You want some tea or something?" he asked her.

:::=====================================::: Rain crossed her arms under her breasts and watched him look over at the calender. "Yes I am and no, thank you. I'm fine," she said trying to ignore the fact that he said he was making potions. In her book, a potion was a delicious cake batter or something kids pretended to make when they were six. "Well, when you are done with your chemistry set, care to clue me in on what you are suppose to be doing with the department?" she asked trying to keep her voice even and without making fun of him really. She didn't believe in what he seemed to, but she would give him a chance. :::================ ☜♥☞ ================:::

Midas nodded and looked at her. His partner was a skeptic so he was guessing she hadn't seen the bank footage. He looked at her "Suit yourself, I make a mean pot of tea." he said and smiled walking back over to his potions and sitting down and continued to work "I'm the station wizard and your new partner, I'm to assist you on your normal cases as well as personal cases like ghost, ghouls, werewolves, dragons...the works." he said and walked back over to her with a smell vile "Drink this for me will you?" he asked.

:::=====================================::: Rain shrugged again at the offer finding herself not that interested but thankful at the offer. Maybe she would have taken that idea up at a different time, but not right now. She stayed where she was in the opening looking at what he was doing, but at seeing the potion before her, she took it, but didn't drink it. She sniffed it and her nose wrinkled up in distaste. She held it at arms length and simply shook her head. "Nope, I don't drink things I don't know what is, nor do I drink things that strangers give me," she said simply. Nothing that she didn't want to happen wasn't going to happen. Poison had been fed to her to many times for her to just casually trust anyone with anything they asked her to put into her mouth and drink down. :::================ ☜♥☞ ================:::

Midas shrugged and took it back and drank it himself his eyes changing color from brown to silver and gold. He looked at her "That's all it does, I'm not trying to kill you or anything." he said and smiled. He threw it behind him and clapped his hands together "Okay Ms. Moritz what's on the agenda for today?" he asked her her obvious skepticism not getting to him in the slightest. She would realize that there was no myth to him soon enough despite how much she didn't believe it or didn't want to. Wizards were something only babies believed in but Midas was very real.

:::=====================================::: Rain raised an eyebrow at what the drink did to him, but she kept quiet and her surprise quiet enough to keep him from noticing. "A mission to figure out who killed a couple teenagers last night.Ten to be exact. You have to come in with me, so I can get my gear on since I just came from my house, and I need my badge to get onto the murder scene," she said pushing off the wall so she was standing up fully. She sighed while fiddling with a necklace of a silver key while waiting on a response. She was wanting to get to the house of the victims as soon as possible before everyone else contaminated the scene. :::================ ☜♥☞ ================:::

Midas nodded "Cool so its a homicide case then." he said and nodded "Well lets go I wanna find this guy just as much as you do." he smiled and walked past her and outside. He was suddenly wearing a jacket with a smile and looked back. He went to the motorcycle she brought and got on since he didn't have a license and was actually not allowed to have one to make sure he stayed in the state since he wasn't exactly trusted but they needed him.

:::=====================================::: Rain let out a huff of air when she was joined on her bike by Midas before pulling on her helmet. It was cold out and she immediately shivered in the wind and rain before lifting the bike up off it's stand to take off down the road. She didn't obey the speed limit at all this time. She was going at least ten over once she escaped the suburban area and then was into town. The only time she slowed down was at lights and stop signs. Even on the turns, she didn't slow down enough to make to much of a difference. What should have been a twenty minute ride ended up being only ten before she slid to a stop in a parking space outside one of the NYPD's police stations.
She dismounted and pulled her helmet off before motioning for him to fallow after her. Even on her feet, she wasn't slow at her smaller height. She was light on them and knew exactly where she was headed: up two flights of stairs, down the hall, and to the right. When she reached her office, she unlocked the door and opened the organized room with her guns under her desk, a large blade on the wall, and a pile of books from romance novels to science fiction. On her desk a file labeled Midas Vladirii sat and was partially covered by drawing book and a couple note books. "I just have to grab my guns and badge. Then we can go," she said not even caring if he saw that she was reading his file the night before and left it out. She picked up a gun holster off her pile of books and strapped the belt onto her hips that held a desert eagle. Next she grabbed her badge and put it into one of the pouches on her belt over her riding suit.
"I'm ready when you are," she said walking to the door and waiting on him to return to her bike already. :::================ ☜♥☞ ================:::

Midas nodded and followed her getting on the back of her bike "Alright then partner lets go solve us a case." he said with a smile and looked back. He was obviously going to try enjoying the first day even if it was a homicide case. ((I'm blocked))
