Akane's estate

Akane heard his conversation and her heart started to sink. She didn't want him to leave, she had just got him back. A tear ran down her cheek, but she quickly whipped it away. She had to be strong, for Bennacio's sake, and for their childs sake. She sighed and walked past the wall and looked at him with a sad smile on her face, "you have to leave again don't... you" she asked, looking at him.

Bennacio quickly lifted his head, a mixture of troubles and surprise on his face. He hadn't expected her to be here, let alone to hear what he had said. A deep frown returned to his face and aged his looks. "It would seem that way." he agreed with a weary sigh, his gaze dropping to the phone resting just an inch from his hand. "The Prince is... He's lost his mind. According to Zen he's gained unimaginable powers and.... well... It's simply too much for him to handle right now." He stayed quiet for a moment longer, allowing the words to weigh in the air. After a long few minutes he finally got up from his seat. "Where are my swords, Akane?"

Akane looked at him and looked away, as she left. She then came back and handed them to him, "i see..." she said, as she walked away from him. She didn't really know what to say to him. She felt a little angry, he was choosing the prince over his family again. Was it always going to be like this? If the prince needs help he'll leave his family for him? She didn't show any emotions and she didn't turn to look at him, "go... just go..." she whispered, as she left and walked away. She didn't really have anything else to say and she didn't want to kiss him, that was like rewarding him. If he wanted anything from her, he'd have to come back after he saves the prince and apologize to her properly.

giving a tiny yawn, Lynx wandered through the hallway in boredom. having snuck in through an open window she gave a small smirk to herself as she was free to roam around without a servant following her.... that was, until she came upon the very knight she'd been avoiding. mmm.... crap.... she huffed, crossing her arms. "and where are you running off to?" she murmured, tapping him on the shoulder a few times with a raised eyebrow as she stood behind him

"Akane..." Bennacio trailed off and reached for her, but she had escaped his grasp. His expression softened at her. He hated leaving her, especially with their newborn there, but he had to protect them. The knight reasoned that with himself every night whilst he was away from her, saying that he had to do this not for his kingdom but for her. He would be telling himself this again tonight.
Bennacio turned to see the warrior princess walking towards him. "Hello, Your Majesty," he said solemnly with a light bow. Lady Lynx was a princess of a kingdom not too far off Litari, she and Prince En were arranged to be married for the sake of peace between the kingdoms. Of course, Lady Lynx wasn't quite pleased with the arrangement, and the concept seemed to vanish from Sir En's mind every now and then. "I must see the Prince." he explained while strapping the sword over his back. "He's... going through an episode."

the princess gave a low grumble of unintelligible swears before she composed herself and put a hand on her hip. "You realize that I'm coming with you, right?" She grunted, her other hand briefly moving towards her dagger on her hip before she held it up in the air to keep him from protesting.
"Don't bother refusing, as his fiancé it's my duty to help protect him." She sighed, once again crossing her arms.

Bennacio quickly turned to look at the princess and gave her a contemplating look. He didn't want her to come along because with what he heard the prince was more than just deadly, and he didn't want the future queen getting harmed. Then again, she was no doubt stronger than him and could probably handle herself better. Then there was how stubborn she was, and the knight knew then that he had no say in the matter. "Very well, Your Highness." he sighed and motioned for her to follow. As he walked a few paces outside of his own home, he paused briefly to look back at his beloved one more time. Then walked away.

Lulu had disapeared again to keep watch over the house, this time however more in the yards. He continued to spins his favorite torn hearts card, looking up into the sky, and yawning.
