Akanie and the two werewolves entered the room. Setting the children down on the beds in the other room, along with the rest of the children, she turned to the one that held the angel wings. "Put those wings in my private collection... You know where they go." She told the Lycans. With a nod, both of the Lycans had left. Akanie had sighed, looking over the sleeping children. There were about four boys and six girls here. A total of ten. Everyone believed she was going to use them, but the truth was, was that she wanted children of her own. Plus most men would literally burn up if they tried anything with her due to her lava blood. Hell she could control it most of the time, but when strong emotions took over, she was as hot as a volcano... Literally.
Most people believed she hated angels, but she was really jealous of them. Seemingly accepted by everyone, angels were one of the most popular races among the other Kingdoms, besides the Kingdom of Ryoku of course. Even then, they were accepted into their marketplaces now. The only place angel's couldn't be was her own Kingdom. Many of her subjects shared her views on the angels, because they were outcasts of the other Kingdoms themselves. Maybe that was the reason why this Kingdom hated the angels so much. Taking one last look at the unconscious children, she shut off the light in that room and went to her own room. Laying down on the bed, she sighed and closed her eyes. She wasn't asleep, she was just thinking on what to do next when they wake up.

After a little bit Akanie figured the kids would be waking up soon. Getting out of her bed, she walked over to the room attached to hers. When she walked in, she saw a few of the children slowly getting up. Making sure they did not freak out, she put on a soft and gentle voice. "Good morning kids." She told the children as they were waking up. They looked around, confused as to where they were at. "If you are wondering why you are here... I adopted you all!" She said with an oddly cheery voice. She did sound different from what she normally did. The children's surroundings were alot more fancy then what they were used too. Knowing the angels would not scare the kids with stories about her, they would have no idea who she was. As if one of the kids was reading her mind, they popped a question. "Miss, who are you exactly?" One of the girls asked.
With a smile and a giggle, she told the children. "I am a Queen, my name is Akanie Takahashi." With those words, the children became giddy. Of course they would be, they were adopted by royalty. That would be the dream of any orphan. "Now, when I am not here, I will have several lovely young ladies take care of you. They are humans, so you should be used to them by now. However, because of the views of my people, I am afraid you won't be leaving this castle. When I am gone, you are to stay in this room with my servants. They can answer your questions and take care of you when I am not here. Now, any questions?" She asked them, with no response, she began to casually talk to the children. Finding out what they liked, what they ate, what they liked to play. Along with many other things. They even talked about the past and how they became orphans. It seemed as if Akanie was a different person around them. Before she wanted to breed them for angel wings... Now, after seeing them. It was like another world to her. Having kids for her was near impossible thanks to her abilities, so it was a void she wanted filled in her life.
With the small talk over, Akanie snapped her fingers as two female humans brought in clothes for the kids, along with toys. The kids were going nuts over these things. Those children were not used to this kind of stuff, especially stuff this nice. In the midst of all of this, she seemed to remember something about having business with the Kingdom of Ryoku, but it was a blur in her head. It would come back to her eventually. In the meantime, Akanie and the human servants began to play with the kids and their new toys she got them.

Once Queen Akanie had left the castle, two of her most dangerous, and highly skilled personal guards had been left here to make sure no one would enter the Queen's room. Even with the barrier up, Akanie feared someone would come after the children thanks to the fact that one of their Lycans disappeared. Jin's skull like ornament would began to shake, indicating someone had entered the castle. "Senshuken, we have an intruder. Be on your guard" Jin told Senshuken. Shu nodded, and began to carefully watch the area. He would not let anyone near the throne room, considering most knew he was the leader of her personal guards. Not to be confused with the royal guard of course. His superhuman ears would pick up most any footsteps coming near the queen's chambers. Shu's hand was on the hilt of his katana, waiting for someone to come.
Jin on the other hand, had his massive blade leaning on the wall. He himself was leaning up against the wall, letting Shu detect the intruders. He was highly useful for letting everyone else know intruders were in the castle, as well as preventing escape. His powers over necromancy was very powerful here, and one should not underestimate him just because he is physically weaker than the rest of her personal guard.
We will destroy all who threaten it. |

Zenaku the Demon pdragon619 Zenaku the Demon [Not so fast, the Queen has placed a barrier that will keep people out, as well as fully concealing the room. You could not even see it's exact location, so please edit your post. Getting in her chambers won't be that easy.] (I thought the barrier was referring to the side room that she was keeping her angels in, not the entire chamber itself. My bad) [Oh no, it is concealing the door to her room itself, so it is hidden. Also forcing your way past the barrier won't be easy, as it is a.... Well barrier lol.]
(I see sorry for the confusion, and yeah it would be hard considering my character doesn't even know any magic that could dispell a barrier) |

Jin's skull that hung at his side would continue to shake violently as 'Akanie' approached. When Shu approached approached the imposter, Jin held out his hand. "Hold on Shu, there is something wrong here." Shu nodded, already suspecting something. Only Jin knew any magic to dispel the barrier, but typically Akanie dispelled the barrier herself, which was rather odd. Plus she couldn't have gone to the Kingdom of Ryoku and back that fast. So Shu finally spoke up. "How are you back so early Miss Akanie? Besides, you never flew there in the first place..." These guards were smarter than the rest, they had been on high alert anyway ever since the kidnapping of those children.
"If I may ask Miss Akanie, what did you ride on? I do not know of any large beings capable of transporting both you and Lord Divine to the Kingdom of Ryoku" Shu asked with a bit of paranoia in his voice. He saw the skull hanging from Jin's side shake violently, so an intruder must be near. A few things didn't add up, so Shu would be forced to ask 'her' questions before Jin would let the imposter in. Some questions he might not be able to answer.

Jin still found it farfetched that she wanted them to dispel the barrier for her. He would have great difficulty doing it himself, so it was always easier if she did it. Shu was still wary, because she had no reason to come back. "What could you possibly leave behind? If you want in there that bad, then you can open the door. It is a pain in the a** for Jin to open it, so you have always lifted the barrier. Which is what I assume you mean by escorting you to your room m'lady. It's right here." Shu said. Truth be told, Jin had never dispelled the barrier before. Jin finally spoke up, knowing Akanie could do this with no trouble at all. "Lady Takahashi, you have effortlessly dispelled the barrier in the past. Even when you were awfully tired... Why can't you do it now?" To be honest, he was kinda shocked that she wanted to have him dispel the barrier to access the room. But something did not quite add up.
They knew she had taken her bag that held her money, so what was there to come and get? Regardless they were told to guard this room, and do not let anyone in who could not dispel the barrier no matter who it was. So they would follow their orders to the letter. Even with this fake Akanie barking orders at them, they would be very reluctant to open the door, as they would have great difficulty doing so. Plus the room was right there next to them, so they thought it was odd that she wanted an escort. Which, they thought she was talking about dispelling the barrier when she said escorting her due to the rather close to the room.

Jin said nothing as the fake Akanie spoke. Shu would be the one that had to talk to her. "But, you ordered us to not let anyone in that couldn't open the barrier... Even if it was you." Shu looked back at the skull hanging at Jin's side. It was still shaking violently, as if an intruder is really close right now. She was never this moody to them, never. Jin then looked around, and started to make a small patrol around the area, as if he was looking for something. "Even so Shu, I can't open the door with an intruder so close. It is too risky... Plus I can't concentrate with this thing rattling like a damn rattlesnake." Jin said. Seeing one of the Castle guards, he motioned him over. "Who has came in the castle lately? " The guard thought for a second, then responded. "Only Divine came in earlier... Why?" The guard asked Jin. Jin thought for a second, "Wait, you didn't see the queen come in?" The guard shook his head, and Jin sighed. "Just get Divine down here, maybe he can open the door, or better yet, find the intruder." The guard nodded, and ran off to find Divine, although his search would be pointless.
Jin grabbed the skull from his side, and held it up by the chain it was attached to. It was shaking, but since he was on the other side of the room across from The fake Akanie, it was not shaking as bad. As he made his way around the room, the shaking got more violent and more violent as he made his way back to the fake Akanie. Shu seemed to notice this and looked over at Akanie. "Hmm... Try and open the barrier Jin." Jin looked at Shu dumbfounded, but shook his head. Walking over to the barrier, he placed his hands over the barrier as he attempted to channel the right magic for the spell to dispel the barrier. However, the barrier reacted violently, and pushed him away, not to mention shocking the crap out of him. Jin fell to the floor, in a daze as he tried to collect himself. But the reaction from the barrier was a bit too violent, as he couldn't even get back up. Shu sighed, as the guard, accompanied by several other guards, came back from their search. "Divine isn't in the castle Jin... I had several other guards look everywhere for him. Even though he was spotted coming in the building." The guard would tell Shu and Jin.
Shu would be well aware of the Ras'Kar of Gaman, as he heard rumors about what he could do, and only now would he really begin to suspect something. Shu would look Akanie over, and would notice something that was missing. Shu knew for a fact she took her diamond katana with her, and he did not see it on her. "Something seems off here... You do not have your diamond katana with you, as well as there is an intruder nearby. Divine was here, yet nowhere to be found. Even the guards looked all over for him, and he was supposed to be in the castle. No one saw him leave. Add that onto the fact that you can't open the barrier, and no one even saw you come in Akanie..." Shu's voice would trail off as Jin came to his senses. Jin would mumble something under his breath as he stood up. Cursing the skull. Shaking his head, he sighed. "Ugh, first time trying to dispel that barrier. Never doing that again..." He said to himself as Shu would stare directly at the fake Queen. "How about you prove yourself Miss Akanie? If that is who you really are... Shoot lava from your mouth at me, if you are the real Akanie, you can do that with ease. I will accept death if you are the real Queen of Konton." Jin's eyes would widen at Shu's words. But Shu was unmoving, staring her down now. He really didn't suspect much until now. Alot of things were not adding up. The skull on Jin shaking, indicting an intruder in the castle. The fact that Divine was no where to be found. Even her Katana was gone, the one that he knew for a fact she carried with her out of here. With the fact that no one saw her come in, along with the fact that she couldn't dispel the barrier. Shu had every right to be suspicious. The guards that had been in the area simply stared at Shu dumbfounded, as he waited for the fake Akanie to say something.

[You do realize that one of the rules of the castle is that no one can sneak in.... Right? xD] |
