So I married Vilkas.
When I walked into my house where we live, he attacked me. I had no bounty on me at all; all of it was cleared. I killed him then received the letter of inheritance.
Is there anyway I can re-marry? I still have my amulet. Or resurrect Vilkas?

1. Are you absolutely sure you had no bounty on you? Even 1 gold bounty is enough for your spouse to hate you.

2. You don't have any saves or auto-saves before this occurred?

3. You should be able to re-marry. If you're playing on the PC then there are console commands that you can use to revive Vilkas.

2. You don't have any saves or auto-saves before this occurred?

3. You should be able to re-marry. If you're playing on the PC then there are console commands that you can use to revive Vilkas.

yeah, when he began attacking me I checked the crime tab and it showed no current bounty.
I do, but I'm too far past to go back.
I'm on Xbox. /: And I tried visiting the priest in Riften again but the option to talk about marriage didn't show.

Then i'm sorry to inform you of this. But your husband has died...... permanently. Did you already arrange a marriage with someone else? If so, was it before you received the letter? i.e did you wait before your husbands body went cold before you moved on? At least rigor mortis? Please note that i am attempting humor.
