You look around to see yourself surrounded by a beautiful blur of neon colors, flashing lights, and techno music. The flashing is not blinding, but it is certainly a spectacle to behold. You find that you are standing on two foot-shaped plates of steel, suspended by nothing. There is no other room to move without falling. What do you do? Jump. The moment you start falling, you have reached terminal velocity. How will you all fare as shinobi, fighting in a free fall? Although it does not look solid, the neon at the edges is a wall, which you will be able to kick off from and use it to change direction, amongst any other creative thing you can think of. Don't try sticking on to them with chakra, it won't work.

⇋xxxxxIt seemed that Nova was the first to arrive. When he got there, he found himself to be on two metal pads, shaped exactly to the size of his feet. His next response was the test the air, to make sure that it still had oxygen. If it had oxygen...he was nigh unbeatable in this space.

To his extreme fortune, it had oxygen, with enough spare for him to use plenty of water in this fight He simply readied the air around him, and waited patiently for his teammate--as well as the opposition--to arrive.xxxxx⇌

Viki smiled as she woke into being awake. She was on a metal plates as she then seen Nova, although she did not know who she was she smiled lightly. "Hi. Nice to meet you." She knew this boy was not her partner, but with her smile her red eyes flashed for a second, the pupils dilating to that of a snakes, and her teeth grew to dagger like shaped along with claws instead of nails. Her appearence was something that would resemble naruto when he was beginning to transform however she had no odd chakra, her teeth and claws were much longer and she had no streaks on her face. Her voice would sound a little deeper then a second ago, with her senses heigtend to that of a heightend wolf's. "I am Viki, Goodluck uhm..whats your name?" She asked, "Might as well make a convo until the others arrive." She said lightly. The true person she wanted to fight was Ahri. That girl had pissed her off in the last phase and would get her punishment for it.

Sesame appeared and was now royally pissed, especially at Nova for bringing that damn statue into the area with his team, it was strategic but it was also uncalled for, he needed help to disorientate his team when he could've easily done it himself. Shows no class or strength to Sesame. He'd give him props on his water manipulation but Sesame wasn't someone to scoff at either.

[Ratsu] arrived, looking around and seeing the metal plates at his feet and other contestants on level. The light was only disorienting for a few seconds, him deciding what to do about this. Luckily, he had an idea of how to deal with this. "So, should we start with... a preemptive strike," he asked, his grin constant with his usual carefree attitude, but with his own personal tint of repulsiveness. He drew three shuriken to his hand and his other hand on his hilt, ready to begin once his leader gave the word.

The Administrator would appear, seeming to float and look around. "Oh...that's odd." Without an expression, he pulled the pistol from his jacket and shot Ratsu through the forehead. His body would fall limp, and then transport over to the other area, very much alive. "Sorry about the anomaly. Proceed." He stated and vanished into a thick, black mist.

Ahri made her way to the battlefield promptly, seeing how she was late to arise from the phase one genjutsu. As she made her way to the starting point of the field she looked around at the beautiful spectrum of light. Unlike her father, she was a dreamer, distracted by beauty as she was left in awe. Approaching Nova she looked over at her opponent...it was Viki. Her former squad leader that was willing to sacrifice Ahri for her own personal game. A tad bit nervous, she thought about what Samson told her, along with her former mentors. It was all or none now. "Time to be strong..." the girl thought as she pulled out her bo staff. The sound of rain could be heard from afar, as the entire battlefield became encased in rain, and would continue to fall with them for the duration of the battle.

Viki laughed. Viki pushed off the walls and towards ahri as soon as she began to move, viki was faster and stronger and would have reached her before she finished also she could see through the rain genjutsu, simply due to her ranmaru she could see through any genjutsu speciall jounnin and below automatically, and in a very short time she could easily see through even a jounnin genjutsu. Long range genjutsu would not work, so it would be up close and personal! Viki would come flying near ahri and would summon chakra to her hands, simply by doing so she struck at ahri's chest with one hand and at her arm carrying the staff with the other. On the off chance that a slower opponet could dodge an attack when in mid jutsu, viki had something else planned as well. If viki's hands landed on her arm it would rip through her arm muscle. Making forming a fist, or holding the staff, impossible. She would drop it. If it hi her chest it would rip her aeorta heart muscle, killing her instantly.

OOC: Basically. As soon as you started your genjutsu she attacked you. And considering your focused on your genjutsu [which takes chakra control which ya know means time XD] the odds of you dodging either is impossible, unless you got something creative up your sleeve XD

⇋xxxxxWhen Viki got over to Ahri, she would find that her palms didn't strike Ahri at all. They hit water. One of Nova's hands was extended to his right, in the direction of Viki and Ahri. "You should know by now...those who make the first strike lose inevitably." The moisture in the air would respond to his call, forming a sphere above Viki. He waved his right hand down, and it would shoot down toward her, attempting to slam her down into the free-fall before the two of them had moved at all. If this were successful...it would be Sesame and the two of them; they could catch up to Viki later and take her our quickly.xxxxx⇌

As Nova was busy concentrating on Viki, Sesame would get the jump on him and take care of him using an opposing element, thanks to the Cloud Large Sword Style. His sword sparked with electricity as the fourth stage was implemented into his stance, he swung his blade once towards Nova and sent a quick yet strong bolt of lightning towards him which came from his blade. The bolt of lightning zoomed in and if it hit, it would punch a hole straight through Nova since the technique was mainly used to kill an opponent. Nova had his concentration and focus on Viki in order to defend Ahri, the lightning bolt would probably be too close before he would be able to react. If Viki fell, then Sesame would follow right after but not before leaving with a bang.

Ahri shuttered as she prepared to block, if not counter, her former ally. Fortunately for Ahri it had appeared that she was paired with an extremely talented ninjutsuist who had managed to prolong Viki's head on pursuit. Unsure of his intentions, Nova had bought Ahri enough time to take her genjutsu to a whole new level. Moving her staff behind her back in a defensive stance, the sands from within shook violently, only to amplify the light shower into a down pouring thunderstorm. As for her right hand Ahri pulled it in front of her in a single handsign that triggered the next step of her attack.

Seeing how Viki couldn't see the effects of genjutsu meant that she wasn't able to see what Ahri had done, leaving paranoia lingering in the air for her former squadmate. However, it wouldn't be so fortunate for her squadmate Sesame; for each passing drop of rain would begin to have a sudden stinging sensation. It was almost as if he was being poked by multiple needles.

Jutsu Used/ Field Status:
-Dance of the Falling Rain V2 = Basically went from Showers-> Thunderstorm

-Piercing Rains = Basically each raindrop feels like the pin p***k of a needle.

Viki had her, she knew she had her, her hand reached out and struck...water? Then a blast came roaring towards Viki, quickly forming an academy level technique, she formed one shadow clone that would push off of the real Viki, Viki would have slapped its foot with a paper explosive tag, and launch towards Arhi, which was only a few cm's away. At the same time as the real viki was falling, the clone would have quickly bridged the gap in a way no one would have been able to interfere, unless they were crazy fast although Ahi wouldn't because she was still completing her first Genjutsu, the clone upon reaching ahri's face, would expload with the paper bombs, a blast so deadly that would kill on impact. As the real viki was falling at an extremely fast pace.

Sesame heard the rain and it was too late...or was it. Sesame was trained to fight under these conditions, never allowing the enemy to defeat them, even when his mind was torn apart. His eyes brightened in a bright red hue as three-tomoe showed in both of his eyes. He yelled out as he felt like he was being pricked by multiple needles, but, as he felt this, Ahri would feel actual rain coming down on her and this rain would burn her flesh and clothing, it would even burn through her muscle and tear through her bone thanks to the strengthened water boost since she showed some bare skin, the final handseal had been made before Ahri even begun shaking her little rain-stick. If Ahri had stopped for just a moment to try and get away from the actual rain cloud, Sesame would hit hard and not stop. After putting those two sets of handseals in, he knew that the genjutsu was taking his toll on him, he fell to one knee and screamed out as the rain stabbed into him.

(Not to nitpick, but you would be hit. The academy-level clone jutsu is not solid. It's just known as a clone, not a shadow clone. Shadow clones are much more costly in chakra.)
