[Reveur Insense]

One day out of nowhere, a gigantic creature appeared on earth. Its death resulting from being shot down by military jets. Unknown to the humans however, upon its death, it released a strange chemical/pollen like substance into the earth, transmitting some sort of virus, toxin, via water sources or possible the air we breathe, that is toxic to most humans, changing them into mindless and grotesque like creatures. Before anyone could come to realize what was happening, it was too late to stop the spread of this virus.

Now we take the story many years later into the future. The Earth has basically become one large desolate wasteland as humans and the transfigured humans/monster fight against each other to survive. Most cities/countries and whatnot that have survived the virus and have remain mostly intact as well as housing drinkable water, abundant food supplies and breathable air, now serves as a refuge for survivors. Places like Longmont and other noteworthy places have come to be known as 'Paradise'. For those who cannot make it to this paradise however have settled in groups and colonies around the world.

age: Twenty three
personality: Strong minded, loyal, respectful, sarcastic (when she chooses), caring.
about:Renu was born into a military family. She was taught everything about respect and kindness, self defense and so on. From a young age her fighting skills were strong and speaking he mind respectfully was never an issue. When she was fifteen, her father said he had to go there was a national emergency and ran off. Her and her mother stayed at the house in fear as they watched the news. Weeks later her and her mother were traveling when her mother captured the virus. In the only way to stop it from taking over her mother, was to kill her, so she did. Years later she has made a group of survivors and taught them how to live and fight. She takes care of them as if her own family. One day, a broadcast signals through their radio, saying to head to a paradise in Longmont, now they are going from Texas to Longmont, Colorado in hope of finding others like them along the way.

personality: Cheerful, lighthearted, good humor. Mostly always seen smiling. Open and friendly. Is intuitive and very observant, tends to be pretty sharp and perceptive to people. Prideful, stubborn; pretty much has a lot of arrogance most of the time, thinking he's always right. Likes to be in charge. Get on his bad side, he can be pretty intimidating.
about: Liam had only been a cheerful, and very well liked small town police officer, working along side his father and brother, when the events of the virus occurred. By the time he, or anyone, had realized what had happen, the majority of the people of his small town had already been taken by the unknown virus. It wasn't long before his town was destroy, leaving everything in ruin. Knowing not what else to do, Liam father and his group of police squads, took control of the situation and gather all those who managed to survive the outbreak and made preparation for the move to safer areas. It has been a few years already since then, with the group making any liveable space their home. Ruin cities, empty malls, grocery stores, churches and even underground sewers had come to be known as 'home'. After his own father had contracted the virus and watching as his old man shoot himself in the head, Liam had taken up the role of leader. With the news that refuge cities being form, he and his group are currently heading for this so called Paradise.

Renu looked up and around at the scenery..... Vast. Nothing but open and vast desert. Only a few of them were still up, watching the landscape fr any movement, any sign of life. They had been in the camp site for five days with no sign of life at all. It was rare though, the virus and it's children only hung around what used to be heavy populated areas and places that have a large water supply. Renu never understood why it had to have been Earth, why not Mars, Mars has water! She sighed and shook her head, trying to think of something else. "Renu?" She turned to see one of the children, Starr had woken up with a tear stained face and puffy eyes. "Starr! Did you have that dream again?" the little eight year old nodded and fell into her arms quietly crying. "Sh, it's okay, it's okay, I'm here, sh, don't cry, hush, hush," She soothed the child quietly and hummed a tune to help her fall back asleep, when she did, Renu looked at another person who wasn't on duty and cocked her head signalling for them to watch while she put Starr back to bed. Walking over to the children's tent, she stepped in and gently placed her in her sleeping bag and kissed her fore head. "Sweet dreams Starr, sweet dreams," she got up again and left the tent, relieving the other from her post and went back to watching the horizon until the sun rose.✧☢☣✧

Dawn was quickly approaching and they had only just stopped to rest. Where had the time gone? Each moment just seem to slip by unnoticed, leaving them all in a daze. Food supply were low, water even less. Liam wasn't sure how much longer his group would last but despite all the ill favor lucked pressed against them, he wasn't about to give up hope just yet. Just a little bit further, he kept telling himself. Just a little bit more. Paradise will soon be upon us.

Tents had been set up, the fire started and the smell of burnt beans assaulted his sense. Who the hell put Ralph in charge of cooking? That guy was an terrible cook, clumsy as well. Liam cracked a small smile at the thought but soon sighed as he gaze across the barren Texas desert from his perch atop the large boulder that served as their look out point. Truthfully, his thoughts were far from food despite the low rumble of his stomach. Just moments ago, he had sent his brother and a few of the still able body men out to scout the immediate area and was currently waiting for their return. Liam was beginning to worry though. They were taking too long. Then again, maybe he was just simply being paranoid and only minutes have passed. He highly doubted that though. Liam pride himself in being rational and sane after all. He just couldn't afford to be losing his mind now anyway, especially to not fall victim to this damn virus. He still had things he needed to do, dreams he wanted to accomplished and people who needed him, looked up to him with hopes in their eyes.

"Dammit!" Liam silently hissed, brows furrowed to show his frustration and concern. Pulling up his binocular, he position them in front of his eyes, hoping to catch a glimpse of something familiar, any sign of his brother's return.

Renu looked up as one of the men had came rushing up " Ms. Engelhadt! There are a group of people! I spotted them on the horizion!" She looked at the man and stood quickly. "give me the binoculars!" she ordered and rushed him and grabbed hem as soon as they wer in sight. Looking through them she spotted the group of well built and tired men in the distance. "Bring them in, give them food and water!" She ordered and watched as they continued to get closer. A few minutes later they appeared with a few of her own."Please, enjoy out food and water," she smiled and waved a hand as they rushed to the food. Few minutes after they finished she asked who had sent them and if they could take them to their camp. They agreed and helped pack everyone up and carry items and they started off towards the other group. Getting closer to the others, she called out and waved as she saw someone on top of the boulder.✧☢☣✧

Whilst Liam sat worrying on his little rock, imagine Andy's surprise when he happened upon Engelhadt's group of survivors. He hadn't expected to find any after all. Unlike his brother who still clanged on to hope, he had basically given up hope on the thought that there could be anyone else living out in these desolated wasteland. Now, he thought about taking it all back, his misgiving, his long ago relinquished hopes, for finding Engelhadt and her group must have been a sign that it was not yet time for him to give up. Upon her offer of food and water, he and his men took their hospitality with much jubilation. Their own ration of water that they had brought along were long gone already after all. Sharing one canteen with 5 guys? It was all too obvious that it wasn't going to last. After everyone had been replenished, Andy and his men help out in the packing and began their move.

Back with Liam (who was currently mumbling out curses and resisting the urge to seen out more scouts to find his idiotic brother) he had nearly fallen off his boulder due to the shock of seeing the people who had suddenly appear in his line of vision out in the far distant. As they came closer and closer, he wanted to let out a grin upon seeing Andy waving his hand like a kid at him. They're safe... was probably the only thought that seemed to race through his mind before he took notice of the unfamiliar people that followed not so far behind. Survivors? In the pass six months since the last city they had stopped at, there had been no sign of any survivor. How? More like where? Where had they been all this time? Not wanting to think about at the moment, he pushed the thought aside for later pondering upon hearing the unfamiliar shout that was directed to him and his eyes immediately fell upon the woman at Andy's side. A frown crease his brows as he tried to make out her features. She was a pretty little thing, all slimmed and full of curves in all the right places.

"Get your a** down here already, you jackass." Hearing Andy's comment, he made a mental note to give him a good kick later today before standing up and jumping off his boulder to land exactly in front of Engelhadt.

"Well," he gave a surprised whistle as he glance at Renu and the group of people that followed her. "Where in the world have you," as he said that he gave her body a glance over, an appreciative gleam in his eyes, "and your group been hiding cause I was for sure that there wasn't anybody else left out here in this dried out ole desert. Thought my group here was the last one to be making it out of Texas, but I guess I was wrong, huh?"

Looking at Andy and back at the man on the rock, she narrowed her eyes at his arrogant smile as he stepped up to her. She got shivers rolling down her spine as he looked her up and down in that way guys used to look at her mother when she was little. " I'm Renu Engelhart, and we have travled from San Jose, Cali, and we were apparently smarter at hiding compared to you if you couldn't find us and instead," She pointed to Andy. "we found you." she backed up a few inches, she felt he was trying to press down on her, and she was not very comfortable with that. She looked at her group who stared back with wide eyes, they knew she disliked people getting too close to her for reasons even they did not understand. "Where do we set up camp for the night? Are we going to keep moving or stay put for a day or two?" She asked, her tone very serious and yet slightly annoyed as she turned back to face Liam. Though she had to admit to herself, that he did have nice features that a girl would swoon after before the virus took place.✧☢☣✧
