Quote: NAME OF CLASS: First Aid 101 PROFESSOR NAME: Professor Cricket General information: A general overview on basic illnesses a student might run into, as well as symptoms and quick fixes to things like breaks and deep cuts while on the go! Each student is given a dummy to work on, though they may choose to partner up in fixing it. Mechanics: Roll 1 20-sided dice, what you roll is what your student gets to work with... Dice Rolls and What they Mean! 1-4 - Broken Bone 4-8 - Fever 9-12 - Heat Stroke 13-16 - Hypothermia 17-20 - Lack of Bodily Function (such as breathing, pulse, etc) - this is unnaturally so. After this, please roll 4, 4-sided Dice. Take into account their total and any repeating numbersTotal Results and their Meaning 1-6 - You do a rather poor job patching up your dummy, you might not want to try and heal anybody anytime soon! 7-12 - You do an average job, nothing extraordinary, but passable! 12-16 - Extra good work! Your student can now heal surface wounds!, but not repair HP! This means things like cuts and bleeding that might hinder another character can be patched up! What Repeating Numbers Mean No Repeating Numbers - You used just the right amount of supplies, good for you! Not wasteful at all. Repeating 1s or 2s - You didn't use enough supplies, that's rather lazy and Cricket obviously disapproves of it. Repeating 3s or 4s - You used too many supplies and that's wasteful! Naughty! Cricket might make you earn your supply rights back in a future class! If you work as a group, split up the dice between yourselves as evenly as possible. So if you're paired up, each person rolls a 10 sided dice and you add up the results to get your dummy! Then you split up your 4 sided dice to work on fixing it up! Bonus Mechanics:For every 3 times you attempt this course, your student may add +1 to their 4d4 dice roll's total to improve how well they patched up the dummy. YOU LOSE/FINISH THIS CLASS WHEN... - You are finished rolling both sets of dice and rping out the results. That means you have to make ANOTHER rp to try again!
Since it had been an acceptable amount of time since Belladonna had attended an open class, she figured it was the perfect occasion for another one. Not particularly ready to battle her way through treacherous roads of any sort, the witch instead opted for something low key, not necessarily easy but definitely something she wouldn't get sweaty or too put out about. So a fun FEAR Healing class sounded just perfect! Plus it gave her the perfect opportunity to wear a new dress.
Yes, Belladonna dresses up for everything. Why do you ask?

The dummy given to Belladonna wasn't altogether too heavy, but she did have a bit of trouble lugging the thing from its easy spot in the front of the classroom to her designated work area. The nurses' outfit was cute, but the skirt was so cumbersome and her heels a little unruly, so that it took longer than the witch wanted. Once she had finally, finally lugged it to her table and set it up, it immediately turned a bright blue color. "Uh oh, Mr. Derpy! You're looking a little chilly." Belladonna huffed out as she patted the dummy sympathetically on the shoulder. A quick overview of the lesson revealed that her dummy had contracted hypothermia (which she was severely confused over because they were in a classroom where it was room temperature, but hey. A lesson's a lesson). In any event, the witch rolled up imaginary sleeves before she whirled around. With a dramatic point of finger to sky, the witch slammed her other hand to her hip and intoned in her most helpful voice, "Never fear! For Nurse Belladonna is here!"

With a clatter of heels the witch scurried to the front of the room and surveyed the supplies laid out for students' use. Pink eyes roamed over the multitude of items laid out, not sure exactly where to start. Hypothermia was caused by excessive cold, to the point that the victim suffered dramatic chills, impaired motor skills and could even slip into a coma. That meant their core temperature needed to be raised. Witchy hands snatched up a blanket and some heat packs before said witch whirled around and happily clicked back to the table with Mr. Derpy. "I know you're cold, but its alright! These'll help!" With deft hands the witch broke the heating packs before she placed them in the dummys' armpits, between his legs and then one more under his neck. The blanket was wrapped around his upper chest, but when the witch went to grab another for his torso, she came up short. Huh... Could of sworn I'd grabbed enough...
In any event, the witch whirled around and hustled back to the front of the class. This time she made sure to grab enough blankets and heating packs. Arms full, she returned and piled them onto the table next to him. "Your wife, Mrs. Derpy, is very worried for you. But like I told her, you'll be patched up in no time." Belladonna chattered on as she wrapped the dummy up with blankets, tucking them under his body and giving him kind pats on the shoulder every so often. Yet after all her careful ministrations, the witch still came up a few blankets and heating packs too many. She'd even had the foresight to pack a few around his face, so that his frostbitten cheeks would warm up too. But still, just a few supplies too many.
"Oh well! Too many supplies is better than a dead dummy, am I right?" No one laughed at her joke.

All the way to the front of the desk Belladonna "tsk'd tsk'd" her latest patient, though she still hurried nonetheless. The same supplies were taken this time, in a similar amount as last time, though the witch was careful not to grab nearly as many heat packs this time around, opting more for blankets. Before she headed back to her desk she wiggled a finger at her first dummy, lying still on the floor. "Not in the hospital you too!" She winked at them, and then scurried on back to her desk.
Confident in her hypothermia healing abilities, the witch didn't actually do so great a job. Lacklusterly she tucked him in and broke the heating packs for him, not taking nearly as much care this time around. Mostly she was distracted by the buzzing of her skellyphone which meant she'd gotten a new follower on Tumblurgh. Hooray! "Well, you look pretty alright." She said with a wave of her hand. So she needed a few extra heating packs, and maybe he still looked a little chill, but nothing a nice cup of hot chocolate wouldn't fix. "Gonna have to get that one on you're own, I'm afraid."
