Welcome to the Role Playing Section. Below you will find information and a set of rules you must follow. Though these rules can be bent, and do not include the seperate rules of other people's threads. These are the basics in which ALL threads MUST follow.

Role Playing Moderators:
Finculmir

-.- The Rules -.-
(First the Usual)
1. Follow Gaiaonline's Terms of Service. If you have not read these. Then please visit this link now!

2. No Spamming. We don't want it advertised here.

3. No Begging Threads. This is the role playing section! Also, this is a guild, we will help when we can but we don't need newbs begging us for money! So just don't do it.

4. Don't complain about being ignored. If your being ignored it's probably because you don't post enough. If you want to be heard and noticed. SPEAK UP! Remember your not the ONLY person in the guild.

5. Don't flame. To each their own. You flame, you'll get banned from the guild. End of story.

6. Don't stretch the pages. Please even in posting pictures. If you use imageshack.us they have a choice where it will resize your photos.

7. Don't be a grammar nazi. I find this very rude. Some people aren't as good spellers as everyone else. Others they just type to fast for their own good. But as long as you can understand what their saying. SHUT UP!

8. Clip your quotes. Try to keep it to 5. Also try not to quote pictures and really big messages.

9. DO NOT ASK FOR YOUR THREAD TO BE STICKIED! The moderators will do that if they feel it is important.

(Now the Add-ons)
10. NO CHAT SPEAK!! This is role playing. The use of chat speak isn't allowed.

11. NO GODMODING! anyone can be hurt or killed. If you are cought godmoding, you will be warned.

12. Do not disrupt the flow of the story. Nothing like *walks in and throws a pie at [Enter name here].* I challenge thee!! *Turns and walks out* (unless it's like a store, or a tavern thread.)

13. Keep OOC to a limit. Planning threads are okay, though I would much rather they be in the gibberish section.

14. NO MATING THREADS! stressed self explanitory

15. There are no loop-holes in the rules. Don't try to be all technical.

What Doesn't go here:
Contests, Business like threads, (Including creating any type of art for someone.) Gibberish.

Role Playing Information:
Anyone is allowed to post what ever they want as long as it doesn't break the rules. Pointless threads are not allowed here and will be moved. This is the role playing section. If I or a moderator feels that a thread should be stickied. We will sticky it.

F.A.Q

(Questions? Just post them here. We will quote them and answer them in this post. So check back to see if a mod answered your questions)

Finculmir
Keep the violence and mushy stuff to a PG-13 level, right?
Everything MUST be kept to a PG-13 level. It is in the T.O.S.

If people want to have houses (in the town) or chambers/runs (in the underground den), should they put up a thread as such, or should that just be their PM boxes?

I would say leave that up to the person. If they would rather RP their home through PM then let them. It will just be a bit difficult to throw a party due to the lack of communication with the other party members.

Q: What exactly happens when your character, well, DIES? Do you make a new character, do you wind up somewhere? It would be nice to know so I don't get myself killed very fast.
PostPosted: Tue Jan 08, 2008 12:43 pm

A: We will do our best to not let that happen. Unless the person WANTS their character to die. If they do, I doubt they want them to come back, in which case the character will remain dead and the person will create another character or two. If someone declares your character dead without your permission, it is possible that there will be some sort of extenuating circumstance in which they can be brought back. The person who declared it so will also be reprimanded fiercely.
