Sakura is shy and doesn't talk much. SHe is currently in an institute for Orphaned children. Mostly because her parents were killed infront of her and she doesn't trust anyone. But also because she was tramatized by the killer who killed everyone but her that was in the house. After police found her bound, gagged and blindfolded in a dark room at the killer's house they noticed she refused to say anything but one day she was working with a new person who has a degree in Children's Pshycology and he plans on adopting her to try and help her since she seems to respond to his kindness. She has a blanket that her mother gave her as a baby. She carries it everywhere and never puts it down unless she is eating or if she is taking a bath. Other than that she takes it everywhere. She sucks her thumb when she is scared and when she sleeps but she is trying to quit. She loves candy and flowers and animals. She hates loud noises and being alone.

Katsuro doesn't get close to alot of people. He has had alone of friends and family come and go in his life. Now he finds a young little kit needing his help. His heart gave out when he heard her story but tore when he finds she can't move on from it. He wants to help her.

Sakura was in the therapy room doing her lessons. She was a very smart girl but was too scared to trust anyone. It was sad to see her sit away from the other children. As she held onto her blanket she did her studies in math and spelling. She still cried at night when she wanted a story or kiss goodnight. The institute was scary to her. She had hardly any friends, no family to support her or anything. All she had was her blanket that she'd had since the day she was born. As she did her studies she heard the door open but didn't look up. She was sitting away from the kids since she was shy and wouldn't talk to anyone. She would respond to yes or no though. But it was hard for her to be alone like she was. No one understood that she needed love and attention to get over this. But the people at the institute weere losing paitence with her and were somtimes stern with her but other than that she was very sweet but also very shy. All she wanted was a family.

Katsuro walked in to the room following after the doctor. The doctor was talking to him about this one child, a kit. This kit is a mute or so they know so far. They wanted him to get her to talk and help her get adopted. Katsuro rolled his eyes as his ears twitched annoyed. It better be a serious case not some kid trying to get attention by acting abnormal. But the Kitsune knew he had to atleast see the kid. His tail curled close to his body just in case. He was going in to a room full of kids and he didn't want any of their fingers on his fur.

Sakura was now outside for recess she was sitting alone looking scared as she looked at the other kids. Then one of them approached her and said "Hi Sakura. Want to play?" Sakura shook her head no and ran away over to her usual spot hugging her blanket. The mental scars from the killer were still in her head. She had only been here afew weeks but it was hard for her to be alone. She then hugged her blanket close and buried her face in it. SHe was shaking alittle as she started to climb into the trunk of the tree she was sitting under and started to dig alittle in the dirt finding a box that she had buried and pulled out her favorite book and started to look at the pictures of different animals. She then came out and looked around before she took the book and box into her room and opened the book wityh a secret compartment in the back. She pulled out a picture of her mother and father with her and her big brother just before they were killed. A tear ran down her cheek but then she heard a knock and put the picture away and began to look at the horses inside the book. She turned to the Mustang, her favorite. She always thought they were pretty and had no cares in the world. She often wished she could be one. But knew it would not happen. She had made many wishes before she went to bed and so far none of them came true.

Katsuro looked boredly as the doctor now showed him to the window. So he could 'observe' the kids at play. His eyes didn't catch sight of a child up in a tree. She was alone. He frowned thinking she shouldn't be up there. If she falls, it would really hurt her. The kitsune walked open the door ignoring the doctor as he tried to get him back in. The other kids ignored him then Katsuro got to the tree. "Hey you Sweetheart, you shouldn't be climbing up trees without someone to look after you." The kitsune said sternly.

Sakura then climbed down carefully and had her ears back with her tail wrapped around her leg shaking alittle. She wasn't used to Katsuro. Then she hugged her blanket and ran into the house to her room with the box and book in her arms. She then sat on the bed and looked inside the box where she had some stuff that belonged to her parents. Mostly pictures of her and them over the years. Her eyes seemed more lonely than scared. She then sighed silently and hugged a stuffed fox she had in the box and put it under her bed for later. Around the fox's nexk was a locket that played a lullaby her father wrote for her when she was a baby. She hugged the fox and layed down crying and facing away from the door curled up in a ball. She was in her wolf form as she layed there with tears in her eyes. She was very scared and didn't know what else to do. Her ears back and her tail underneath her, she layed there looking outside not wanting to be yelled at again. Later that night it was dinner time and she had not come out of her room yet. She just wanted ehr mommy and daddy to be with her. She was sick of being alone and wanted someone to realize this.

Katsuro didn't look it but was startled when the girl ran away from him in to the house. Instantly, his attention was caught on her. So wisely he left her alone for the rest of the day before going to see her at night. He knew the kid will want to fall in to it's most trusted form. Her beast form. So with ease, he turned in to a pure white fox. With his powers, the man was able to walk through her door to see a small curled up wolf cub. He walked over quietly then sat in front of her.

Sakura was curled up around her favorite picture and had her blanket over her head. She had no idea that Katsuro was there. Her ears were back as she layed there. She smelled him but didn't turn to him like most kids like her would if they smelled a new person near them. She just pretended to be asleep but knew that this trick was getting old and might not work. She then uncurled and the picture which had no frme fell onto the floor infront of Katsuro. It had afew tears on it from her having been crying. She had part of the blanket in her mouth and when she didn't feel the picture beside her anymore she gasped and sat up and then picked it up off the floor. But then she saw Katsuro and backed up alittle with ehr tail tucked. SHe was shaking so badly you could swear that the floor was shaking with her. As she backed up she felt herself in a corner and jiust looked at Katsuro. Since the room was dark she couldn't see very well and thought he was the killer and that he came back to get her. She flinched and covered her head. Then she whimpered not having telepathy yet. It was obvious she had been tortured somehow and missed her parents warm embrace deeply. All she wanted was the feeling of being loved back and the feeling of being safe.

Katsuno saw how she was reacting to him. He let her back away from him before using his tail to curled around her gently. Then oulled her to his warm chest. He gave a comforting purr before curling around the young one.

Sakura then shook as he curled up around her. She then looked at him with scared eyes and whimpered alittle. SHe flinched as she felt his tail wrap around her but soon felt a gentle touch from it. But her eyes still had fear in htem though not as much. Her tail was tight against her stomach as she felt him around her. SHe then buried her face in his fur and shook alittle less as she started to calm down. She hten said something but it was faint and hard to hear. It sounded like "I want mommy and daddy." She said and looked up at him with a sad face feeling safe with Katsuro.

"They are gone little one. They are physically gone but spiritually you hold them close to you always. Now be calm little one. Sleep and tomorrow you can tell me about them." Katsuro said calmly. He purred to comfort her so she could sleep.

Sakura buried her face and soon was fast asleep as she listened to him purr. Her daddy used to do that all the time when she was about to go to sleep and he would always kiss her goodnight. After she fell asleep she snuggled up to Katsuro dreaming about her father. "Daddy." She said as she slept and stayed closse to Katsuro feeling safe in his embrace. She ahd a scar on her ear from when the killer had her. She had been hit by him and got cut on a nail on her ear. Though it didn't hurt her at all she was still hurting inside.

Katsuno knew this would break code but he started to lick the cub's fur. He always from this comforting as a kit now he hoped it comforted her too. He started with her ears and her head.

Sakura then snuggled into his fur and found Katsuro's licking her fur very comforting. She then nuzzled him in her sleep thinking it was her daddy licking her. Then the next morning she woke up looked around not seeing Katsuro with her anymore. She cowared and turned into her Kitsune form before she grabbed her blanket and hugged it as she went downstairs for breakfast. She was so skinny because she hardly ate anything. The other kids wanted her to eat but she wouldn't let them give her any of their food. She got her usual milk and grapefruit with alittle sugar on it. She then looked up seeing the security people watching them just incase someone had a relapse. They scared her and made her think they wanted her to be scared. She then went back to eating her food and drank her milk. But she was rocking alittle. She wasn't shaking but rocking as if she was autistic. Which she was. Though you wouldn't know it by looking at her, she was. Then after she had finished mher breakfast she went ovder to her classroom and sat in her normal spot away from the other kids. She was in kindergarden and was doing really well. The only thing she was having trouble with was writing. It was hard and tricky to her. But she was not one to quit easily. THen she heard a familiar voice and perked her ears. it sounded like her mommy but it wasn't she was hearing things she thought. "Mommy?" She asked then looked around alittle and looked away when she didn't see anyone that looked like her mommy. She figured that it was just someone playing with her.

Later that day, it was visiting daya and everyone got to see their parents, exxcept for Sakura. She was in her room petting a doll that she had in the box. "Mommy, daddy, please come back." She said to herself and started to cry. She wanted a visitor as weell but knew it wasn't going to happen.
