"No, it's at Markus's." Ethan said. "I felt way too uncomfortable staying at Fredrich's place when he and Ellery got together, so I moved in with my brother. I had to sleep in Shirley's room, though..." he mumbled the last part shamefully. Since she was still overseas studying abroad, and Markus didn't at all like the thought of sharing a bed with his little brother, lucky Ethan got to sleep in a girly room that was already cluttered with posters of Lock.

Instead of a comforting and/or reassuring smile, Ethan responded by tossing a bit of his roll at Lock. "We went over this, remember?" he drawled. "Shirley's fine. She's a huge fan of yours, yeah, but she's not planning on sending me to jail anytime soon." He paused after speaking then leaned back in his chair, scratching his chin thoughtfully. "Actually, she might. She's been pissed at me ever since our break-up." he noted and laughed sheepishly. He neglected to tell Lock about the hate mail and death threats he'd received the past few days.
